Descent
Review by BHeilman
"Very Disorienting, but fun!"
This is one of those games that will make you ill if you're not careful. The levels are VERY confusing. You have to take it a little at a time. Some people, like me, aren't bothered by the 3-D imagery.
Graphics: Confusing, to say the least. Up and down, left and right, back and forth, no matter what you are dis-oriented. But the robots and all the weapons are really cool looking. The first game is grainy, but future Descents look better. I give this an 8.
Levels: More confusion, even the map is confusing. This is one of those games I just sat and look dumbfounded at. Exploring is very time consuming and very worthwhile. I like all the secret areas and ESPECIALLY the secret levels! I give this a 10.
Weapons: Worthy of collecting and VERY powerful. Watch those missiles! I like how enemies can get hurt by lava you shoot underneath them. I give this a 10
Overall I said 9 because of the uniqueness of it!
