    1.1- Chapter 1: The Frozen Lands

    After talking and saying everything to the Village Elder you'll receive the
    medallion from him.  Walk north up the trail and goto THE BRIDGE.  On this
    screen there is a hunter you can talk to but he gives you very useless
    information.  Do NOT try to walk across the bridge, it will collapse.  Instead,
    walk from rock to rock that is above the bridge to pass the waterfall.  Continue
    east to THE OLD HOUSE.  Here, take the chilli peppers and the old lantern.  Open
    the cellar door and go down to the basement.  Down here taek the rope and
    statuette then go back up outside of the house.  Try to open the door and a
    ghost will appear.  Use the medallion with the ghost and it will scare it away
    leaving the path open to enter the house.  Enter the house and you can talk to
    the old witch, Welda, if you want but all you need to take is the Book of Runes
    on the shelf, the leaves in the pot, and the bag of seeds next to Welda.  Leave
    the house and goto THE FROZEN LAKE.  Look at the chair in the boat and a screen
    will pop up with a better look at it.  Look at it again in the screen to see a
    green spirit come up.  Chat with the spirit until she gives you the orb.  Take
    the orb that holds her spirit and leave to THE EDGE OF THE FOREST.  Here, there
    will be a well-dressed gentleman that requires payment to cross.  Give him the
    statuette and he will let you pass.  Go east to THE PATH OF SCULPTURES and look
    at the shiny object in the snow.  This will reveal it is actually a shield.
    Take the rusty shield and continue north to THE HOLLOW TREE.  Talk to the Little
    Drimm to find out absolutely nothing except he was a figment of your
    imagination.  Look at the stump and then look at the hole in the stump to reveal
    a lever.  Pull it to open up the crack in the hollow tree.  Go down it and look
    at the skeleton to the right to find a ring on his finger.  Take the ring and
    then head back up.  Use the bag of seeds on the magpie and walk away from the
    bag to distract the bird.  Grab the now empty bag and look in the nest to find
    some pearls.  Take the pearls and continue north to THE CROSSING.  Try to go
    north again and some bandits will stop you.  Choose your words carefully.  First
    say that you are off to kill the Ice Giant(so the title of this section
    suggests) and then ask if they will settle for a valuable object.  Give him the
    ring you found on the dead skeleton and the others will run away as he dies.
    Look at the corpse and take the knife and scarf from him.  Go west to THE WELL
    and you'll find the hunter again.  Use the rope on the spool of the well and
    climb down it.  Use the orb of Simbeline to light up the place and look at the
    pile of dirt.  Look at it again in the other window to find a clay tablet.  Go
    east through the other tunnel and do the same thing with this pile of dirt to
    find another clay tablet.  Combine the two clay tablets to make the ancient clay
    tablets.  Now go back up the well and go back to THE CROSSING.  Go north and
    head towards THE RAVINE.  Talk to the stone head if you want or just use the
    ancient clay tablets to open up the ravine.  Now click to the right of the
    screen to go to THE TOP OF THE RAVINE.  Here you will find a corpse.  Look at it
    and then look at it's pockets in the up close picture to find a sulphur stick.
    Take it and then head back to THE EDGE OF THE FOREST.  Give the pearls to the
    well-dressed gentleman and he will give you some gloves.  Go back to THE HOLLOW
    TREE and down to where the fruit is.  Put on the gloves and you can now take as
    much fruit as you want.  Exit and go back to THE CROSSING.  Look at the bushy
    patch and go down the secret path to a cave entrance.  USE the bushes to the
    right to hide.  And you must use them or it won't have the right effect.  The
    Ogre will come out and leave.  Walk through the little hole to the left of the
    entrance to the cave and you'll be inside.  Look at the Ogre's pillow twice to
    find a key.  Now go to the left where there is a chest.  Use the key on the
    chest and grab a flask of oil.  Exit through the small hole again or you can
    take the path back through the well.  Go to THE RAVINE and go north to THE
    CASTLE.  Walk up a little and the Ice Giant will appear.  After talking to him
    use the flask of oil on him and then use the sulphur stick and say bye to the
    Ice Giant.  Enter THE CASTLE and you'll find a bird, a laser, and a whole bunch
    of gold!  Use the scarf on the rusty shield and then equip the new shiny shield
    with Quickthorpe to get pass the laser.  Take the emerald for it is one of the 4
    stones you must acquire.  Then talk to the bird to find out she will take you to
    another land....IF you give her something to eat.  Give her one of the fruits
    you took from THE HOLLOW TREE and you will be onto the Lands of the
    Mists...sounds like a horror version of DisneyWorld!

    1.2- Chapter 2: The Land of the Mists
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    
    First off, go northeast to THE SWAMP PATH.  On this screen look under the bridge
    to find a possum.  Go back to THE WOODEN TOWER and give the guard the possum and
    you will get the strange hearing aid in return.  Look at the hearing aid
    twice(once and then again on the little pop up menu) to find some ear plugs.  No
    wonder it didn't work!  Go back to THE SWAMP PATH and use the plugs on
    Quickthorpe and then walk up the path.  This aligator will come up and try to
    hypnotize you but with the plugs it won't work.  Get the drum that she drops and
    then continue north.  On this screen try to walk to the skeleton with the purple
    robe and you'll see a huge spider come out of her cave.  Use the strange hearing
    aid on Quickthorpe to scare the spider.  Now look at the skeleton with the
    purple robe twice to find a golden key.  Go back to THE WOODEN TOWER and use the
    drum with Quickthorpe to put the reptile guard to sleep.  Take his spear(it will
    be much more important then you can imagine) and look at him twice to find
    another key.  Take it and use that one on the door to open the wooden tower.  Go
    inside and look behind the the curtain to the right to find a library book.
    Take the book and then take the flask on the table as well as the axe on the
    wall.  Use the golden key you got from the skeleton on the cage to find Iris.
    When your done talking to her you'll get her magic powder.  Exit the wooden
    tower and go north up the stairs to THE STAIRS OF MISTS.  Up here look in one
    pot to find some nuts.  Take one and then look for the only vase that it will
    allow you to pick up.  Take this one to find it has water in it.  Continue north
    to THE CITY OF MISTS to find a genie.  You can talk to him if you want but all
    you really need to do is combine Iris' powder with the vase you just took and it
    will have a chemical reaction which will take care of the genie.  Now look on
    the floor to see 3 lighter colored blocks.  When you step on them they make
    noise.  Find the right combination of stepping on all 3 to open the gates to the
    city.  Before you enter take the axe and use it against the door of the
    guardhouse.  Enter the guardhouse and take the bottle on the shelf and look in
    the hay to find some gold pieces.  Take them as well and enter the city.
    Inside, enter the first door on the right to find yourself in the library with
    Izion that Iris talked about.  Give Izion the book you found in THE WOODEN TOWER
    and he will give you a cool gold key that is very very very important as well as
    a smaller key that isn't as important.  Look on the back shelf of the walls to
    find a self-help section.  Take one of the books there and leave.  Outside look
    at the bird pirch to find he is locked down.  Use the smaller key that Izion
    gave you on the lock to free it allowing you to see the rest of the very small
    city.  Go in the second door on the right to find a house of gargoyles.  Pay
    attention when the child on the left takes the lollipop out of it's mouth.
    Quickly take it out of it's hand and leave.  Go into the large temple with the
    double doors to find Angor, the Snake Demon!  You can talk to him and find out
    he knows everything.  But all you really have to do is throw the spear at him
    and POOF!  No more Snake Demon, seems almost too easy doesn't it?!  Take the
    diamond that fell from his crown and look to the pile of bones to the left of
    you to find some more gold.  Take it and leave out to the city.  Enter the
    flying ship and talk to the captain until he kicks the little kid across the
    deck.  Talk to the kid and ask him to change the fares in the book so you can go
    to the Engulfed Fortress.  It seems he'll need some persuading...hmmmm...give
    him a lollipop and find out he had already changed them.  Now talk to the
    captain and you'll have enough money to pay for a one way trip to the engulfed
    fortress.  And that does it for the Land of the Mists!

    1.3- Chapter 3: The Engulfed Fortress
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    
    On the ship, go into the Captian's room and pick up the parchment on the table,
    the hairpin which is under the pillow, and the smelly socks which are also on
    the bed.  Just use the hairpin and it will now be a bent hairpin AKA a lockpick.
    Use the hairpin and then open the golden chest with it to find a nice jewel.
    Open the drawer to his dresser to also find some fake jewels which you can take.
    Now go back outside the ship and use the hatch to open it and go down.  Get the
    raw steak from the barrel and put the sock on it.  Go back up and feed it to the
    shark.  This is where section 1.3 gets it's name from:p  Now, use the magic
    stone and Quickthorpe will swallow it.  Now use the parchment and you'll be
    enchanted and able to breathe under water!!!  Jump in the water to arrive in the
    Engulfed Fortress.  When you get there some seahorses will talk to you.  You
    have to say the right thing to get some kelp.  If you don't say the right thing
    the first time just exit the area and come back and they will come as well.
    When you get the kelp go north to THE ENGULFED FORTRESS.  There you will meet
    Leroy, give him your kelp and he will give you his shovel.  Now look at the clam
    shell, use your knife on it and it will open.  But there isn't a pearl in it:(
    Leave back to the THE SEAWEED FOREST.  Walk through the hidden path on the upper
    right and goto THE CORAL PATH to the east.  Here, use the knife on all the
    shells and you should fine two pearls here.  Go back to THE SEAWEED FOREST and
    go to THE EDGE OF THE ABYSS, ignore the siren because she will kill you.  Get a
    third pearl here in a shell and then goto THE SHELL area to the west.  Knock on
    the door by using the door and ask him about the pearls.  Once your inside his
    house show him the 3 pearls which turned out to be completely identical and he
    likes them very much.  In return for the pearls he'll give you a map to King
    Thut's treasure.  Notice it looks a lot like the Seaweed Forest!  Go back to THE
    SEAWEED FOREST and use the shovel on the freshly raked soil, now use the bent
    hairpin on the chest to open it and find a bunch of treasure.  Go back to THE
    CORAL PATH and give the treasure to Khor....what, you didn't actually think you
    would be able to keep something useful in this game!?  But now the path is open,
    pick up Khor's helmet and spear and go in it to find yourself in a cave. Go up
    the lift and you'll find yourself in the Land of Mists again!  Go down to THE
    WOODEN TOWER and enter it.  Grab the wool blanket from under the cage and go
    back to the lift.  Go back down and go to the left to enter in the maze.  Go
    left, left, up, and right and you'll find a crowbar.  Then go left, down, down,
    left, and up and use the crowbar on the door and enter to find the Gorgan.  IF
    you want to talk to her only select the last choice when you first talk to her
    or she'll kill you.  Once you say the last choice she will open up and decide
    that she WANTS you to kill her.  She also reveals that Ismall is the traiter.
    You can find Ismael somewhere else in the cave but it is not vital to the game.
    To talk to him just hit the beak thing on the bottom right of the screen to turn
    on the machine.  Anyways, back to the walkthrough, use the spear you got from
    Khor on the glass and she will be sucked out.  That's two monsters that have
    been killed by spears now:p  Grab the stone on the left and use the switch on
    the right which reverses the lift.  Go back to the lift and use it to enter the
    Land of Shadows!!!

    1.4- Chapter 4: The Land of Shadows
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    
    The lift will stop partway down.  Use the wool blanket on yourself to go all the
    way down.  Flip the switch to lower the platform the rest of the way and talk to
    the guard on the other side of the door.  Select the third option and they will
    let you through and put you in a cell.  In the cell take the note, plate, spoon,
    and the cup.  Look at the ramp and then use the spoon on the smaller picture
    that popped up to find a tunnel.  Go through the tunnel and talk to the old
    prisoner until he is dead.  Look at him twice and take the key he was holding.
    Go back to your cell and use the key on the door to exit.  Talk to the guards
    about the ID card and you'll get one from them.  Go west and use the spear you
    got from Khor on yourself to jump over the gap.  Use the cup on the lava to fill
    it up with some of it.  Talk to the Grim Reaper and show him the ID card to pass
    on the Hell Rail.  Go west and when you enter tell Chax that it's just an
    inspection and then throw the cup of lava on him and watch him burn!  Now look
    on the edge to the right to barely see the red ruby.  Take it and then go
    through the only blank hole in the catacombs to find yourself back outside.
    Ride the lift up to the caves and again go to the room where you killed the
    Gorgon.  Here, put in the emerald, diamond, sapphire, and ruby all in the
    Mecubarz' key.  Now use the key on the door and enter the room of knowledge and
    wisdom.  Press the red button in the center chair and then use the center chair
    to have a viewing machine come down which will feed into Quickthorpe's brain all
    the knowledge of the Mecubarz.  It also starts static electricity and kills
    Ismael...he he he he.  Enjoy the ending!!!!  (I told you he would get the girl
    in the end)

    VILLAGE ELDER

    Elder of the village that Quickthorpe came from.  The person who firsts sets you
    out on your quest for the 4 stones...because he doesn't have the balls himself
    to do anything about it!  You only see him at the beginning and end of the game.
    
    HUNTER

    Found at THE BRIDGE as well as THE WELL and gives you absolutely no usefull
    information whatsoever
    
    WELDA

    The resident witch at THE OLD HOUSE, she can see into the past and future of
    people's lives...and she lets you keep all that cool stuff you stole...I mean
    borrowed from her house
    
    QUICKTHORPE'S GIRLFRIEND

    I guess she is the local idiot for liking Quickthorpe.  She has very large
    proportions and always tempts Quickthorpe to come stay in her nice warm room
    with her.  Question!  Why did we decide to take this quest when we had her!
    
    SIMBELINE
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Goddess of the Lake, she is a green specter that gives you the orb which holds
    part of her spirit.  She is very kind and likes you for releasing her from the
    boat at THE FROZEN LAKE.
    
    WELL-DRESSED GENTLMAN
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Blocks your path at THE EDGE OF THE FOREST for a toll.  You end up having to
    give him the statuette to procceed with your quest.
    
    LITTLE DRIMM
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Little elf/man that sits on the stump at THE HOLLOW TREE which you find out is
    just a spirit and is there to guide you.
    
    THE BANDITS
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Found at THE CROSSING, these 3 characters are all stupid except for the leader
    which would had turned out to be very smart IF he hadn't put on that gold ring
    you gave him.   he he he...
    
    STONE HEAD
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Found at THE RAVINE and has an attitude.  Again, gives you useless information.
    
    OGRE
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Found outside of his cave through the secret path at THE CROSSING.  The Ogre
    likes to smash you with his club if you get close and hides his key in the
    easiest place in the world if you've ever played a game in your life.
    
    ICE GIANT
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    One of the 4 beasts you have to kill to beat the game.  The Ice Giant thinks
    VERY little of Quickthorpe(why shouldn't he, I think very little of Quickthorpe
    myself) but backfires when he gives Quickthorpe the chance to destroy him.
    
    BIRD
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    I think she is a griffen but who knows???  This bird was held captive in the Ice
    Giant's castle and gives you a ride once you feed her some blue fruit.  She is
    very polite and also has a nice voice.

    RHASKAL

    The Snake Guard that easily falls asleep to your hypnotic drum while guarding
    THE WOODEN TOWER.  Also looooooves dead possums
    
    JEMIMA

    The Swamp Queen, she carries a hypnotic drum and hypnotizes any travelers and
    then eats them.  She is part lizard and part alligator..I think...
    
    IRIS
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    A sexy fairy that was trapped in THE WOODEN TOWER when Angor took over because
    he feared her power.  When released she tries to help Quickthorpe in any
    way...except the way Quickthorpe wants:(
    
    TITAN
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    A very feminine-like genie looking thing that blocks the way into THE CITY OF
    MISTS.  He pushes you back with his powerful wind and doesn't like you very
    much.
    
    OLD BEGGAR
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    On the street of THE CITY OF MISTS, this old beggar only has one leg since the
    Father Gargoyle ripped the other off and is chomping on it even as I type.  He
    doesn't help you at all but is fun to talk to.
    
    IZION
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The book keeper of the library, Izion likes quite and gives you the most
    important item in the game-the Mecubarz' Key.  The Izion is also personal
    friends with Iris...LUCKY!!!!
    
    GARGOYLE FATHER
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The father of the two gargoyle children in the home.  He has an attitude as he
    picks the last bits of meat off of the Old Beggar's leg he ripped off.
    
    GARGOYLE CHILD
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This.....interesting gargoyle has a psychiatric problem and plays with clay all
    day to "express herself".
    
    BABY GARGOYLE
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This poor gargoyle was happy...she had her ball and she had a lollipop...until
    mean Quickthorpe came and stole her lollipop
    
    ANGOR THE SNAKE DEMON
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The beast in the Land of the Mists, he sees and knows all in the land but can't
    dodge spears very well...he he he
    
    CAPTAIN
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The only captain left that is able to take you to other lands in the Land of the
    Mists.  He is very absent minded but somehow still remembers to kick his cabin
    boy.
    
    CABIN BOY
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This little goofy eyed freak doesn't like that captain and decided to change the
    fares if you give him that sticky lollipop to him.  If only he knew where that
    had been!!!

    SEA HORSES

    This group of 3 sea horses first greeted you when you fell down to The Engulfed
    Fortress.  They are nice but warn you not to stay long and give you a piece of
    kelp...boy...what a great present!
    
    CONGA EEL

    This eel guards the entrance to the Engulfed Fortress.  You never talk to him
    and he just shocks you and looks at you with his three eyes
    
    LEROY
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This crab gardner doesn't like his job but loves kelp and decides to give you
    his beloved shovel for it.  How sweet!
    
    KHOR
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Known as the Fish God, he guards the back entrance to The Engulfed Fortress but
    decides to goto Las Vegas instead when you hand over King Thut's treasure.
    
    WILLIAM
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Another crab gardner but he likes his job and works on a private estate of The
    Kouppa so I guess it pays better
    
    KOUPPA
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    A rich turtle who has tons of money to waste and has been looking all over the
    world for three EXACTLY identical pearls.  Quickthorpe just so happens to have
    them.
    
    THE SIREN
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This....woman likes to tempt humans to come stay with her but actually wants to
    kill them...oh well
    
    VIVERN THE GORGON
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The Gorgon is not all that bad and you can convince her to let you kill her once
    she feels it was her fault everything happened.  She is also the guardian of the
    Mecubarz secret device of all their knowledge and wisdom.
    
    ISMAEL
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Not in any way vital to the completion of the game but vital to the story.  He
    has been waiting all his life to get the Mecubarz' key and rule the world for
    himself ever since he betrayed his 4 friends who are now the guardians of the 4
    worlds.

    BULL THE GUARD

    willing to give you just about anything as long as you don't disturb them with

    FELLOW PRISONER
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    You woke him up from his 30 year nap and he was just about to tell you how to
    escape when he croaked.  You found the key anways though;p
    
    GRIM REAPER
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    A very nice guard in the Land of Shadows, he guards the Hell-Rail to Chax' lair.
    He doesn't like Bull or his companion either but is kinda on the slow side.
    
    CHAX THE FIRE DEMON
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This green insect looks a lot like a praying mantice and is also very dumb.  He
    also seems to be highly flammable;p
