G-NOME
Review by Locke130
"A great game that lasts a long time..."
I bet you, nor any of your friends have heard of G-NOME and because of that, you're missing out on a great game. This game is about a group named the ''Union'' who've received info that one of their enemies have created the perfect war-beast called the G-NOME. You play through tons of missions which include finding and saving people, destroying enemies and trying to get closer to the G-NOME. I suggest this game to those 13+ (in other words, a Teen rating) due to blood and gore.
-Gameplay (8/10):
This game is FUN, challenging when it needs to be, and easy to control. It may take a while to learn the advanced controls in this game, hence the lower rating. Nevertheless, it is still easy enough to learn the necessary controls to play.
-Sound/Music (10/10):
This game functions as a CD as well and if you're like me, you'll be using it a lot. The music is awesome and fits the situation and the sounds are perfect. You'll wonder if you'll ever listen to your other music CDs again! If anything, you'll be playing this game to hear the music.
-Replayability (5/10):
''Aw, man! Now I have to play the beginning missions again!'' That's what you'll find yourself saying when you beat the game. The beginning missions focus on building up your skills and then the later ones can get very challenging. It can be fun the first few times around, but probably not the next few times. But, like most games, it depends on the person playing it.
-Length (9/10):
This is a long, challenging game you'll find yourself playing for days before you beat it. You'll probably find new things every time you play this game because there is no definite path in most levels. Once you're done playing the solo missions, try the multi-player. You can play against a challenging, yet easy, computer character. Try to beat all the multi-player modes.
-Overall (8/10):
This game, while never being popular, is a great game and will keep you entertained for a while. I got it with my computer and I suggest buying it. I don't know any place to rent PC games, but it's one to buy. I truly do no know why it didn't get as popular as it did, but I think you'll have as much fun with this game as I did.
