    ------Notes and Questions------
    My, it has been quite some time since I've last stepped foot in Jadame. After
     some prodding from someone working on a full MM8 FAQ, I decided to try and
     update this guide. An hour later after I remembered why I hadn't updated the
     guide (it takes a long time to hunt down all of those creatures), I decided
     that there must be a better way.
     
    I found it via extracting the files inside of MM8 that the game itself uses
     for stats. From there, I wrote a script (in Powershell, if anyone was
     curious) that parsed the output from that gigantic tab-delinated value table
     that MM8 uses and received data in a more useful format. After fixing a few
     typoes and glitches, I've outputed the data into the FAQ below.
     
    Please note - this is directly from the game's files. That means a few things:
    
    1) Data in here is probably more accurate than ID Monster. After all, this is
      how the game actually creates the monsters, rather than the info you get out
      of the game. I also have extra things like the explosion-on-death damage.
    2) Not everything in here is going to make much sense, and usually that's
      because New World Computing (NWC - the creators of the game) screwed up and 
      made a typo or other type of mistake. For instance, the ranged attacks from
      Regnan Pirate Mages that look like a bolt of element coming at you? Those
      are actually PHYSICAL attacks - they're basically hitting you with an arrow.
    3) There is still data I haven't figured out. For instance, Will 'o Wisps have
      random loot tables, even though they don't leave behind dead bodies - I
      haven't found the column in the monster table that dictates what leaves
      bodies behind. Also, random spawn-drops like Naga Hides and such aren't
      listed because I haven't actually found anywhere that specifies them.
    4) Not everything is used. I have found MM6-related things in the files of MM8
      even; it is pretty obvious that they just copy/pasted from MM7 and changed a
      few things. MM8 was also a very rushed game, so a lot of the game feels
      incomplete - mostly because it is incomplete. I still haven't found any
      Couatls on the outside of Dagger Wound Island, for instance.
    
    A thank-you goes out to HelixSolid, who pointed out to me that I forgot one of
      the dungeons in Alvar... why do I never remember that one?  :P
    
    I'm missing all of the unique creatures; I haven't found them in the 
     files of the game yet, and I don't want to post the potentially-false 
     information found in ID Monster (not to mention that several of these are, 
     well, dead in my games).
     
    How to use the guide:
    If you're trying to find where such-and-such enemy exists, hit Control+F and
     type in the name of the creature. From there, copy the class name and find
     that instead. You should find other creatures of that class (sometimes
     having the same name even) along with their locations in the game. This is
     rather useful for the Bounty line of miniquests.
     
    Weird/interesting things found in the files:
    1) All of the intro to Might and Magic VI.
    2) NWC's obsession with calling things "Boob".
    3) NWC not knowing how to spell the word "Peasant".
    4) Trial notice inside of the game, saying that your game has expired and to
      call someone at NWC for more details.
    5) A listing of what those wells that appear to do nothing actually do - for
      instance, the one in Dagger Wound gives you 1000 gold as long as you have
      less than 100 gold on you + in the bank and you have luck above 14.
    6) They left in a lot of data regarding Blasters, Stealing, and Unarmed.
    7) Discovering that basically three people did almost all the work on MM8.
    8) They removed the ".. of Power" enchantment from MM8. No clue why.
    9) Random name generator list. There are four times as many male Knight/Cleric
      names as any other type. They even have random Dragon names, but they're 
      identical to the random Dark Elf/Necro/Vampire names.
    10) Might and Magic VIII's data files (which control how the game works) were
       written in Excel. No joke, they even have references to it.
    
    Terminology:
       [Level x] indicates a series of visually identical creatures that have
      differing stats - usually peasants. Separated by level.
       (Guard) indicates that these creatures are guards in the area - kill
      something they are guarding and they will retaliate.
       (Innocent) indicates that these creatures are innocent bystanders in the
      area - usually peasants, but there are some dungeons with other innocents.

    Note: Unless otherwise specified, the chance of a surprise encounter
     (that is, sleeping and being rudely awakened by monsters) is 10%. There
     are a few places in the game where it is 0% (as in, you can never be
     awakened), and one that is 20% (I'm thinking typo).

    Syntax:
    
    Name of Creature [Creature Class]
    
     Basic Stats
      Level 1 <- level is used for "This is weak" from ID Monster.
      EXP: 00000 <- How much EXP you receive for killing it.
      HP:   0001 <- How many hit points it has.
      AC:    000 <- Armor Class, same as characters.
      
     Attacks / Abilities
      ATK: 50% of 1-7 Melee <- Chance of the creature using this attack and how
                              much it damage it deals. Also labels element and
                              whether it is ranged or not. Some creatures have
                              more than one attack.
      SPL: 50% of Poison Spray (Expert 4 ranks - 3 shots of 6-10 Water damage)
                            ^- Chance of the creature using this spell.
                              Creatures do not have SP like characters, but
                              instead randomly cast spells. How powerful of a
                              spell is cast is listed in the parentheses.
      Recovery: 100 ticks <- Recovery time of the creature. If you are running
                            Greyface's MM8 patch, you'll see your own recovery
                            time on your character screen; this is the same
                            system. 30 is the best recovery time a character
                            can have. This represents how fast they can attack.
      Preferred Enemy: Dragons <- If the enemy has a preferred enemy type,
                                  they will usually attack that character type
                                  if available. So, in this case, they attack
                                  dragon characters first.
      Special: Curse (Randomly inflicts the Curse status effect) <- Inflicts 
                                                this status on attacks randomly.
     Treasure
      5% of Level 1 Ring found by looting <- Chance of an item and how powerful.
                                            Level 6 items are potentially
                                            artifacts.
      2 to 10 gold found by looting. <- Money dropped.
      Speed: 225 <- How fast they move in turn-based mode. Not sure of the scale.
      AI Courage: High <- On a scale of Low / Medium / High / Infinite. Basically,
                        how much damage they take before they start running.
                        
    There may be typoes in the below text; this is actually straight from the
     game's data files, typoes and all. I've corrected some of the more obvious
     mistakes ("pesant"? Really NWC?), let me know if you spot any more.
