"One of the Greats"

Graphics- For the time, these were great, yet a year out of date. NBA Live 97 had about the same, although this version made progress on the similarity of the face to the actual player. The menu graphics are however, a huge step up from previous versions. They look stylish and anything else, especially the disappointment in menus from NBA Live '99 next year, can't compare. Even today, I still consider this the best menu of all time.8/10

Music- This music is so very SLAMMIN'!!!! It has, maybe 7 tracks, but each and everyone will bring you back to the late Jordan Age known as the late 90s. You will very much enjoy this time warp, and never want to go back to 2006. The crowd and backetball sounds are generic, but get the job done and while they don't make you think "WOW!" they do not make you moan, and therefore get the job done. 10/10

Gameplay- Also a great aspect of this game. This has the first ever version of the 3 Point Contest, and an early version of a fantasy draft. The shooting, dunking and et cetera is very real, and very rarely looks inhuman. The only problem with this game is the AI. The AI will, for example, make Luc Longley take all the shots for the Bulls. The Center will do most everything. The scores are not very realistic either. It's too easy to get Penny Hardaway and make every single shot. Hell, I was doing that with Mark Price. 7/10

Other- It will be cool to play that Chicago Bulls-Utah Jazz matchup you've always been dreaming about in a video game. Experiencing the old rosters and styles will be fun. The menus look quite good, and not as bad as you would expect. Before the game, it will show you the city skyline of where you are playing, and the skill level of your team, and it looks very, VERY stylish. 10/10

Overall 9/10

A definate buy, especially for the one dollar it may cost you.
