How do i cast a rune spell?

When i try to cast a spell, nothing happens.

Answer

It could be you do not have the necessary rune, OR your mana pool is insufficient to cast that spell.

Answer

You hold down the magic button (default ctrl) and trace the rune, if you did it correctly you should hear the it spoken and a little icon apear in the right upper corner of your screen. The spell wont function if you made any mistakes (symbolized by a rune with a red x over it) even if you trace it correctly afterwards, let go of ctrl and try again.
