ie8 fix

"Old, repeats a lot, but I haven't uninstalled it!"

All right, it's old; and there's not much to do. But it's not one of those games where you play it for 4 hours and never play it again.

Basically the plot (at least what I get from the intro) is that you win some kind of contest (or you just ordered a couple thousand dollars of hot wheels) and have about 50 miles of hot wheel tracks and games. You build these tracks all over your house from the attic to the basement to outside in the sandbox even. You start with 4 basic levels, the outside sandbox one, the kid's room, the living room, and the attic, and then start with 3 or 4 cars? Not sure forgot how many. But you'll probably be using that blue one a lot, until you get the blue and black one (sorry but the game does not give any names for the cars).

Tournament mode is the only way to unlock levels and you could also unlock cars. Tournament mode is easy, but it can still drive you insane. The first few levels are pretty easy but after a while if you crash once it's over, because the tournaments are timed and one crash can cost you about 5 seconds to even get on the track let alone get your speed up. What's worst is that to unlock a new level you have to beat it in tournament mode and are expected to know every twist and turn without playing it before.

This game repeats a lot but for some reason I just like playing it. Graphics are not too bad… for an old game. My version freezes for a moment sometimes but I bought mine for a quarter. Never completely crashed on me… yet. One of my problems is there are only about 3 usable good cars in the whole game, so you'll be using the same ones a lot.

This is a game where you see the icon on the desktop and race a few tracks and then stop. Then do sometime else and then you see the desk icon and play a few tracks.

Overall don't play more than 2 dollars for it, unless you're some crazy hot wheels collector who has to have anything and everything hot wheels and has thousands of them never played with and even has hot wheel Pez dispensers that are really hard to find but are able to find them anyway.

Thanks for reading my review.
