    Disclaimer: I just put this together from my notes, so it may not be 100%
    accurate, but I tried to be very thorough.  It should give you a good idea so
    you can use the code optimizers efficiently throughout the game.  Nothing is
    more frustrating than upgrading to Beta (or worse, all the way to Gold) and
    finding the same thing on the next level.
    
    Section 1 is a list of subroutines in a rough chronological order as found in
    the game.  In other words, level by level, progressing through as dictated by
    gameplay.  There may be a slight variation based on which side of the room I
    went to first.  Section 2 is a listing by subroutine, so you can see all the
    possible locations and levels for that particular subroutine.
    
    Each listing shows the energy cost and any notes about how it was obtained.  In
    some (but not all) areas I have included notes on the optimizers.

    *** Optimizer strategy notes ***
    Your first optimizer is part of an objective, so you can't come back to it from
    a future section.   One strategy is to upgrade your Y-amp right away, and
    upgrade to Gold on the next optimizer so you have it available for the Primary
    Digitizing section.  On that level, you may need it (depending on how the game
    randomizes the optimizer placement) to get to a high platform where the
    optimizer is.  In 7 times playing the game, I have only found the optimizer for
    that level in another part once, so chances are good you'll need the Gold level
    (see notes below for more).

    This one is fairly easy, but sometimes overlooked - the Optimizer is behind one
    of the sealed bins.  When you get permission to open ROMmie's bin, you will be
    able to open the one with the Optimizer, as well.  Just go around to all the
    rooms.

    You will miss the optimizer (and some of the subroutines mentioned here) if you
    don't jump onto the moving data blocks and go up to the top of the room - there
    is a recessed walkway just under the ceiling.  On one side is an energy patch,
    and on the other is the optimizer.

    *** Optimizer Strategy Notes ***
    Sometimes the optimizer appears at the beginning of the level, but usually it
    appears after the reformat has started, and you are running back through the
    main room with the energy pool and all the zLots.  It is in the left-hand room,
    on top of a high platform.  You need a Y-Amp gold to get up on top of the
    platform, but you can get by with a Y-Amp Beta if you wait until it comes to
    the edge, then jump up and press F when you are on top of it - if you time it
    right, you will catch it and you can optimize then.  It can be nerve-wracking
    because the reformat is coming and zLots are trying to kill you, so do a
    hard-save just after the Program that gives you the platform permission in case
    you need to try again.

    back out of that room and across the energy bridge.  If you go to the area just
    to the left of the stack of data blocks that looks down onto the level below,
    you can wait until the optimizer climbs the wall and update Megahurtz to Beta
    (the next time you see a Beta version will be at the end of the game, so go
    ahead and update to Gold ASAP).
