"Some improvements"

Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is the second version of Roller Coaster Tycoon. This game is very similar to the first one, but there are some improvements.

Story Line: NA

There really is no story line for this game. You pick a park, build roller coasters, get a certain number of guests, money, and/or park rating in a certain time. That's about it. It's not much of a story because this game isn't an RPG or anything.

Game Play: 10/10

The game play in this game is pretty good, with many things to do.

Right when you load the game, you have some options. You can start working on a park right away to get closer to completing an objective, you can go through the tutorial to learn how to do everything, you can design roller coasters free of charge, or you can design a scenario. The Roller Coaster Designer and Scenario Designer are the new things you can do in this game. Oh and you can also create LOTS of roller coasters (big DUH)

First lets talk about creating a park. You get a list of places to work on, and they each have its own objective. The objectives can have a certain limit, or you can have no limit at all. You can have money, or you can work without worrying about finances. It takes a while to beat each park, so this game lasts really long.

There's also a tutorial for the beginners who never played Roller Coaster Tycoon before. Of course, the people that played this game before can try this, just to refresh their memory. In the tutorial you learn how to start a park, change view, build a roller coaster, every basic thing you need to know before you get started on the real park.

A new thing you can do in this game is do the Roller Coaster Designer. Here, you can build a roller coaster without worrying about money, space, scenery, etc. The only flaw in this mode is you can't bring the ground up or down, so you can't make a roller coaster that goes under ground. Oh well this isn't that major anyway. Before you start, you get a list of every single roller coaster, so you can make lots of different kinds.

The Scenario Builder is something you should take a look at. You can build your own scenario (duh), and you can make the size, the entrance, the water, scenery, money, everything that's in the normal scenarios. This can take a while, but it's all worth it to play in the park that you created.

There are many varieties of Roller Coasters, rides, food stores, and sceneries. In this game, you can actually stack scenery on top of each other! You also have to hire mechanics, janitors, and security guards. You can even hire people in animal costumes! It's definitely all good!

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics are actually pretty good. You can change the colors of the roller coasters, transportation rides, and thrill rides. The sceneries are also pretty well detailed. Like if the benches are vandalized, they are dented and broken. The water that shoots out is shooting out well, and the tornados spin realistically. Also, when people throw up or litter, the ground gets a pizza like mess on the ground. Hehe looks like it's time to get that handyman!

Sound/Music: 10/10

The sound in this game is very good. You can hear the crowd very well. You can also hear when the rides crash. Of course, this is something you DON'T want to hear. You can also put music on the rides. There are lots of these music. When the ride breaks down, the sound abruptly stops. The sound and music is definitely good.

Life Span + Replay: 10/10

This game will last quite a while, even longer than the first one because the scenarios are harder and becaues you can create your own scenarios. You can replay every level even after you beat it so this game is endless.

Rent or Buy: Buy

All PC owners should buy this game because it is really good, it lasts a long time, and it's just really good.

Overall

Story Line: N/A
Game Play: 10/10
Graphics: 10/10
Sound/Music: 10/10
Life Span + Replay: 10/10
Rent or Buy: Buy
