"This game is Awesome! Well, in a cute sought of way"

Well, i think just about anyone who owns a computer knows about Minesweeper. Minesweeper was created soley for the purpose that it would come free with Windows. Minesweeper side with the other windows game solitare.

Now, a lot of people have never played Minesweeper in thier life, or they have played it once, and then never played it again. The only reason i can think of for this is because many people don't know exactly how to play it, or what you're supposed to be doing exactly. I'm not going to go right down into the game, but the idea is to uncover every square on the grid, without hitting a mine, which, you would cover using a flag. Numbers under squares help you to find the mines, and it creates a problem solving sought of atmosphere. But when you can actually play Minesweeper, it can be a hell of a game. Gee, i play it nearly everyday! Well, usually when i'm waiting for the internet to load up or something...

Graphics: 7/10

The graphics in Minesweeper are crisp and sharp. No jaggered edges, and the colours are very clear. I looks near realistic. But, i have to say, there is not much else in the game besides the grid and the cute little face that sits at the top of the grid...

Sound: 0/10

Hmmm...sound, did i ever hear sound in Minesweeper? Well, the answer is no. There is NO sound in Minesweeper what-so-ever.

Gameplay: 7/10

The gameplay is quite intense. You don't know if you're going to hit a number, or hit a mine and explode into a million lumpy pieces. Playing Minesweepers is quite fun and can sometimes be addictive.

Challenge: 8/10

Well, if you play the begginer setting is can be easier than simply moving the mouse. But once you start to move up the difficulty, the cute Minesweeper you once knew, become your worst enemy. On the expert setting Minesweeper is a nightmare, and i say that only because of personal experience.

Replay: 10/10

Because the placement of the mines is totally random each time you play, there is an infinite amount of replay value. You will NEVER play the same grid again. EVER! This is why it is so fun to play Minesweeper again and again. It is always like you're just playing for the first time.

Overall: 8/10

Why 8/10 you ask? Well, the big mistake most reviewers do, is compare games to other games. I hate when people do this. I rank Minesweeper in a class of its own. It is a great for what it is, a puzzle game. There's no benifit in saying, ''this game isn't as good as Final Fantasy so it must suck.'' This is the wrong way to go.

Anyway, you can't go out to the shops and buy this game. You already have it! Just learn how to play it and it becomes a totally different game than what you thought it to be.
