Welcome to a much more modified version of this solutions guide. Due to long
and hard hours of working on my life and my profession, I have been trying 
to
get back to this guide. What's worse, sometimes I get to it, then I realize 
I
have to get back to my normal life (What's left of it) and at the same time,
I have had a lot of help with this guide and I have lost a lot of E-mails 
over
the past 2-3 years since this guide has been out. All I can say is, I am 
very
sorry if you have not been added to this guide and have not been remembered 
as
a helper. Because my life has to take priority, it's not easy trying to keep
up with technology and keeping all the original info from years past. If, in
fact you have been a part of this guide as a helper of info, but was not 
added
to this guide, my sincerest apologies. I don't know how to make it up to 
you,
but for those of you who I do know, I hope you understand my dilema. 
Anyways,
I have been trying my best to keep this guide updated as much as possible 
and
trying my hardest to get this game solved and finish a solution for everyone
to have. This game is easy if you know what your doing, but if you don't, 
you
will get stuck rather quickly. I do want to point out that this is NOT a 
walk-
thru, but a solution guide to help you beat this game. Although I don't
exactly tell you what to say to people, I do hint out what you must get 
people
to do for you, so please bare that in mind. This game has put me through a 
lot
of stress and frustration, trying to find all the secrets, locations, items,
artifacts, weapons, money, and more. I hope this does help you out because I
think I am the only one who is making a COMPLETE (Or at least trying to)
solutions guide to this game. Please read the section on A SPECIAL NOTE for
more details about this solution. If you have sent in info about anything, 
but
don't see your name or I didn't give credit to anyone about it, please hold
on, I'm trying to get this thing organized so everyone will understand what
and how to beat this game. As you will see, this is not an easy task to do
since making a complete walkthru or step-by-step solution would be pointless
at this point. Mostly because there is so much to find, but you don't need 
to
beat this game in that way at all. The extra stuff is for your benefit only.
So, if you see something about side quests or about playing a part that does
not need to be solved, then you know you can ignore it and go on with the 
real
quest of this game. I am also in the process of trying to clean up a lot of
info that is not in the right place. As I said, you can beat this game, but 
it
is not complete with ALL the secrets and info that I need for this to be a
complete solution. Anyways, lets get on with it and help you beat this game
so you can get to the next game.



THINGS TO REMEMBER
==================
1.) It would be best if you at least tried to play the game first to
familiarize yourself with this game and how to get the other things in the
game. I really do urge you to at least try to play it first, otherwise, you
may become confused when I say go HERE, and you don't know where HERE is.
HERE = options screen, view map, view character, etc.

2.) Do not attack anyone who is not PHYSICALLY attacking you. A lot of the
game requires that you have certain people alive as well as dead. Killing
everyone is NOT the way to do this. Mostly because you will need to have 
LOTS
of people alive at or near the end of the game. So don't attack everyone you
meet, they may be important later.

3.) Sometimes, even if you are being attacked, it is not always wise to 
fight
back. Mostly because they are testing you to see if you are worthy of them.
I will indicate who is to be alive or dead in this FAQ.

4.) Do pick up any items you find, such as gems, gold, enchanted weapons, 
and
chests and bags. The reason for the chests and bags is because you will run
out of room for your inventory, chests and bags will increase the ability to
hold more stuff. Although you can hold a limited amount, due to 
encumberance.

5.) Do save your game often for the fact that sometimes the game will act
funny in spots and do strange things if you do not do them right the first
time. (ALSO READ THE "BUGS" SECTION FOR MORE INFO ABOUT THIS.)

6.) Another thing to keep in mind is that you might be asked to go on a
certain task for someone. Do accept the task for the fact that a lot of them
will reward you with special items and enchanted weapons. Not all the time
will you get items, sometimes you only get gold or just fruit and sometimes
normal weapons.

7.) If in a particular area, you are using the ATTACK or LOOK ICON, and when
you use that ICON on an item, object, or person, it does nothing, but it 
shows
you can do something, it may be because you have to do something else before
that person, item, or object will become useful.

8.) When you are creating your party, go ahead and use all 4 slots. You will
not be able to get any new players to come with you on your journey, so 
don't
plan for this. Some will say they will follow or lead you somewhere, but 
they
will never join your party or replace anyone in your party as well. So 
please,
take advantage of using all 4 slots when creating a charatcer.

9.) Make sure you have plenty of space left on the hard drive when you 
install
the game. The reason for this is the save games can get as big as 1.4 - 1.6
MEGS on the hard drive. (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE NEW TO THE COMPUTER LINGO,
A "MEG" OR "MEGABYTE" REPRESENTS 1,000,000 BYTES.)

10.) Keep in mind that this is NOT a walkthru, but more of a hints guide to
help you solve a lot of puzzles. I didn't want to make this too easy for you
but you can at least figure out what you need to do. That's why I mentioned 
to
save often, that way if you mess up, just go back to your saved game and try
again. The only walkthru's are the ones where you might not have to go back
to after you are done with that area.

11.) Keep in mind that in some areas you may have to come back later to get
your reward or to let certain events happen so you can talk, attack, or use
certain things.



BUGS IN THE GAME (PLEASE READ THIS FIRST)
=========================================
Yes, there are a lot of major bugs in this game. (IF YOUR NEW TO THE 
COMPUTER
LANGUAGE, A "BUG" IS ANOTHER WAY OF SAYING "THERE ARE SOME SPOTS IN THE GAME
THAT STILL NEED TO BE WORKED ON". IT'S MOSTLY DUE TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE 
THIS
GAME, THEY DID NOT REALIZE THAT THESE "BUGS" WERE THERE, UNTIL THEY FOUND 
OUT
LATER.) This is a list of what I have ran into when I played this game. If 
for
some reason the game does not do what I say, and you have tried EVERYTHING,
then maybe it's because you need to DOWNLOAD A PATCH for this game. When 
this
game was first made, there were more problems than what I am mentioning now,
so you had to get a patch to fix this problem. This patch can be downloaded
from your favorite WEB, FTP, or BBS gaming site. (THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO THE
COMPUTER LINGO, A "PATCH" FIXES "BUGS" OR UPDATES THE GAME SO IT WILL WORK
BETTER THE NEXT TIME YOU PLAY THE GAME. ONE WARNING, THE PATCH MIGHT NOT FIX
ALL THE BUGS I HAVE MENTIONED IN THIS SECTION, SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS.)

1.) Sometimes, even after you have killed someone, they will still be able 
to
communicate with you. A good example is when you kill all the guards at the
COPPER MINES and you use the pick axe on the spot where someone was digging
and after a while, a guard (WHICH YOU KILLED) yells at you for not bagging
the sand.

2.) Sometimes, if you drop an item BEHIND an object, it has a tendency to 
NOT
give you the item back. Make sure you are very careful where you drop stuff,
or you may end up losing it for ever. A good example is when you use the 
rocks
you found in the LAVA LANDS on the gysers and if you don't place it in the
right spot, you end up dropping the rock BEHIND the gyser, out of site from
the game. So, be very careful when you use an item on an object, or dropping
an item on something. You may end up losing it for ever if you are not very
careful of what you do. Best if you saved the game before you drop or use an
item.

3.) In one spot, I had a problem with a character not being at the right 
place
at the right time. Example is in the SPIDER CAVE, when you return from
destroying the fungus grove, the prince says he will now help you convince
the other spiders that the queen is an evil person. The problem was when I
confronted the queen, the prince was suppose to tell the spiders that the
queen is evil and he helps you kill her. At one point, he failed to do this
and I ended up fighting everyone, including the prince. Make sure the game
does what it is suppose to when you read this FAQ. If it doesn't happen,
reload any saved game and try again, sometimes the game is not always very
wise. So, make sure you see what your suppose to when it happens. One way to
fix this is to try to stand in different locations or approach a location a
different way. If for some reason this does not help, then maybe it's 
because
you need to get a patch for this game.

4.) Another thing I have ran into was that I have seen ways of getting 2 of
the same type of special item. A good example is in the RED SANDS area when
you talk to the alchemist. First, except the first mission to take the pith
extract to TEAQUETZL VILLAGE, then talk to him again, then say you don't 
want
to go on the mission. Then, talk to him again, then except the mission 
again,
somehow you managed to get 2 pith extracts, not just one. Strange, isn't it?

5.) At the end of the game, depending on which version of the game you have,
there is a MAJOR game lock up when you are trying to beat the last part of 
the
game. This is the major reason why you need to have the patch for this game.
If your game locks up at the or near the end of the game, then your game 
needs
the patch to fix this problem. Please keep in mind about this.



A SPECIAL NOTE
==============
This solutions guide has put me through a lot of questions and answers. And 
so
far has left me with more questions than answers. This game still has a lot 
of
unanswered info that I am still trying to solve for this game. So when you
read this, please keep in mind, that although not complete, you can still 
beat
this game anyways. The info I am looking for is on the side quests, special
items, special quests, and more. So if you play this game and your reading
this solutions guide, I just want to point out that this game can be beaten
in several ways, not just one. If any of you have any info for me about
anything you might have seen, done, tested, or tried, please send me some 
info
if you can about any info that you might have found for this game. Please, I
want only factual and true info about this game, no bogus stuff. Since this
solution is far from complete, who knows what type of other secrets lie in
this game. Maybe more bugs, maybe more quests, maybe more items to get, and
maybe more weapons or money. If you find any info that I have not included

A GOOD STARTING PARTY
=====================
In order to have a good party, you must have good warriors and have each
warrior know a different ability from the rest. You do not need to have all
your members be humans. Elves, giants, thri-kreens, etc. have their place in
this game too. This is just an example of what you might want to have in 
your
party, a good mix of warriors is as follows...

HALF-ELF   = FIGHTER/CLERIC/PRESERVER
GIANT      = FIGHTER/PSIONICIST
ELF        = FIGHTER/THIEF/PRESERVER
THRI-KREEN = FIGHTER/PSIONICIST/DRUID

One thing I do want to point out is that a MUL is the same as a human race.
The reason for the THRI-KREEN is because they can do several times more 
damage
than ANY of the other warriors. Even at higher levels, they can do something
like 6-10 attacks while others can do only 2-6 attacks, and this is at much
HIGHER levels. Plus, THRI-KREEN's can move more spaces than any other 
warrior
in the game. Also remember that you can edit their stats when you are 
creating
a new party. Check your manual to find out how to do that. Plus, spells have
their place in this world too. Spells may even be the helping factor in 
combat
and in deciding victories. That is the reason for the clerics and druids mix
in the party you create. Also because rest areas are limited and are not in
all areas you go to, clerics can also provide healing and protection spells.
So spells do play their part as well. Thieves are needed to climb in certain
areas where you need to climb up a mountain, cliff, or wall. Thieves are the
best climbers in the game. Psionicists help in certain ways to. They can 
help
you bluff your way past certain areas of the game, or help you destroy 
enemies
when in combat. Also remember that most characters can equip 2 swords at the
same time, so you can do more damage. Yes, you will suffor some in armor 
class
but at least you can take down the enemy with more hits. The real reason for
this setup is so this way, your characters can equip almost ALL the weapons
and armor in the game. That way, all your characters can and will do some
major damage. That's the reason why I have all fighters in this setup.



MONSTERS YOU WILL MEET
======================
This is only a list of common monsters you will meet during your travels and
what they look like...

BABAU            = Looks like brown or tanned skeletal demons with a 
hatchet.
BULETTE          = Large versions of sharks with hands, but live under sand.
DAGGORAN         = Basically, a large, tanned, horny toad with a beak.
DAGOLAR SLIME    = A more advanced version of slimes, and bigger.
DARK SPIDER      = A large, black, spider that only live in caves.
DRUIDS           = Looks like old man with green cape and can cast spells.
DUNE REAPER      = Large, tanned versions of a preying mantis.
EARTH ELEMENTALS = Creatures made of stone or earth, very strong.
FIRE EELS        = Clumps of sand that look like moving sand dunes.
FIRE ELEMENTALS  = Creatures made of pure fire, caution should be taken.
GLADIATORS       = They look like normal humans with clubs, not much 
clothing.
MASTYRIAL        = A large, grey version of scorpions with human heads.
MOUNTAIN STALKER = Strong grey human like creatures, fingers are tenticles.
OTYUGH           = A land version of an octopus, light brown or tan in 
color.
PSURLON          = A creature that has a head of a worm, but a body of 
human.
RAMPAGER         = Large, dark grey, reptilian creatures with 2 large claws.
SAND HOWLER      = Dark brown creatures that look like dogs with many eyes.
SCREAMER BEATLE  = Large, colorful beatles, mostly have purple & green 
bodies.
SHADOW           = A creature that is all black, but looks somewhat human.
SLAAD            = Green, red, or blue creatures, human like, hops like 
frogs.
SLIME            = Small blob creatures that live in sewers, greenish color.
SOLDIERS         = These look like humans with blue armor on them.
SSURRAN          = Creatures with human bodies, but have reptilian faces.
STRINE           = Large creatures that are distant relatives to porcupines.
STYR             = Large living statues with 4 faces, 4 arms, and 4 legs.
TARI (ratmen)    = Creatures with human bodies, but have faces of a rat.
THRI-KREEN       = Yes, you will run into some bad THRI-KREENS.
VROCK            = Looks like large voltures with human bodies.
WYVERN           = Looks like dragons, but are tan or light brown in color.
XORN             = A stone version of OTYUGH, but with 4 hands, not 
tentacles.
ZOMBIE           = Looks human, but is a greenish color and they are undead.



ABOUT ENCHANTED WEAPONS, ARMOR, ITEMS, AND ARTIFACTS
====================================================
You will know if an object is enchanted if you see some strange glowing 
areas
of the weapon or item you found. Enchanted weapon give added attacks to your
characters. Some just add more attacks, some have a special power, some have
spells on them which you can use to cast but you will be limited to how many
times you can cast it, some are even continuous making it so you can use it
as many times as you want. Some even automatically work when in combat, 
these
are the ones that have unlimited uses so you don't have to worry about the
item waring off when you use the item.

+1 Axe              = Found in SEWERS when you check one of the holes.
+1 Axe              = Created when you find Meteorite and use it on an anvil

+2 Mace             = Found in UNDERGROUND TEMPLE when you put hearts in 
altar
+2 Sling            = Found in CELDRITLE VILLAGE under Chaya's bed, in chest
Balk's Staff        = Found in MAIN CASTLE when you search druid's body.
Bloodwrath          = Found in SLAVE PENS when you beat one of the guards.
Bone Draketooth     = Found in MAIN CASTLE in Teleporter maze area.
Bone Gythka         = Found in CAPTURED SLAVES from one of the guards.
Bone Swiftbite      = Found in TEAQUETZL VILLAGE, in your house, in chest.
Chatkcha of Flame   = Found in MAIN CASTLE when you kill first Thri-kreen.
Chameleon Gloves    = Found in SEWERS when you kill the one human in SEWERS.
Dark Flame          = Found in WYVERN CASTLE in southeast area.
Dragonsbane         = Found in TEAQUETZL DESERT, after you beat the game
El's Drinker        = Found in GEDRON VILLAGE under carpet in mayor's house.
Great Axe           = Found in SECRET TEMPLE when you ask Genie for help.
Horn Blade          = Found in STRANDED CARAVAN, given to you by Kalinin
Terror Blade        = Found in MAIN CASTLE if you know how to make it.
Soul Crusher        = Found in ELVEN CARAVAN when you check one of the 
chests.
Wooden Quarterstaff = Found in SALT FLATS, when you are buying psionic brac.

Belt Of Might       = Found in MAIN CASTLE if you get past druid.
El's Shield         = Found in RED SANDS when you return stinger to 
alchemist.
Helm./Contemplation = Found in SEWERS when you rescue the daughter of 
ratmen.
Helmet of Might     = Found in TEAQUETZL VILLAGE in your house.
Leather Drake Armor = Found in WYVERN TOWER when you kill the wyvern master.
Living Cloak        = Found in DAGOLAR's LAIR when you beat DAGOLAR.
Metal Tanelyv's Ar. = Found in MAGICAL SUMMONING when you help shadow.
Serpent Boots       = Found in WYVERN CASTLE in a purple pot in zombie area.
Silk Armor          = Found in SPIDER CAVES when you help outcast.

El's Ring           = Found in MONSTERS CAVE, when you beat the shadows.
Silver Necklace     = Found in WYVERN TOWER when you beat female druid.
Iron Necklace       = Found in LAVA AREA when you beat the druid.
Storm Ring          = Found in UNDERGROUND TEMPLE in area you couldn't reach



SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER SELL
=================================
Some items in this world you can sell, but there are some that if you find,
you should never sell. The reason for that is because they will be useful
later in the game and if you sell them, you will be out of luck. Mostly
because once you sell an item, you have lost it for ever, and there is no 
way
of getting them back. Here is a list of items that you should never sell
unless it is just taking up space and you no longer have a perpose for it...

1.) The 3 hearts of the spirits in the underground temple.

2.) The meteor, it will be useful to make an item once you find it.

3.) The large gems, they take up the whole inventory square, used for 
obilisk.

4.) Special gems that have some sort of special name or icon on the gem.

5.) Enchanted weapons, never sell enchanted weapons, only sell normal 
weapons.

6.) Enchanted armor, they are very useful and hard to find.

7.) Rods and wands, definitely do not sell rods, they have unlimited 
charges.



THE CHEAT STUFF
===============
Did you know this game has a cheat in it. It might be best if you didn't 
read
this part or you may end up feeling like you waisted your money for nothing
on this game because this cheat helps you build up your characters faster 
and
have ALL the spells for your clerics, mages, and psionicists. But, if you
really don't care or you are having a lot of trouble in this game, then here
is the cheat. Go to your DARKSUN game directory during DOS prompt and while 
in
the directory, start the game up with this command line...


dsun -k911 -s -p


Or if you have the updated version of this game, try this command...


darksun -k911 -s -p


Here is the reason for this command...

-k911 = This is a cheat activation code or DEBUG for this game
-s    = This lets ALL spell casters have ALL spells
-p    = This lets ALL psionicists have ALL psionics

Now, here are some other stuff you can use to help you in this game...

When you load the above command line in, you have these cheats, you do these
cheats while you are travelling around, you can do these cheats anytime...

Hold SHIFT and press T = This will let ALL party members gain MAX levels
Hold SHIFT and press M = This lets everyone recharge all magic points
Hold ALT and press F2  = Gives the leader 30 attacks and 60 movement points.
                         (Make each person leader and then do the cheat for
                         each person to have an awesome team.)
Hold ALT and press F4  = Gives you all spells for everyone.

In order for the GET ALL SPELLS cheat to work, just do the trick and then go
into the spell list, you now have all spells for who ever was leader. As you
can see, this is a MAJOR helper on your part since you can get to MAX levels
with this cheat, so use it at your own descretion. If you want ALL your
characters to have all these abilities, just make one character a leader, do
the cheat for the spells and attack cheat, then make someone else the 
leader,
do the cheat for that character, repeat for all characters and you will have
the most powerful team at your command. This cheat will work ANYTIME you 
want,
as long as you are not talking and you are traveling or something like that.

SPECIAL NOTE:When you use the ALT F2 cheat, unequip your characters. I'm
serious, by doing so, you do SEVERAL times more damage then what you would
normally do with weapons. Want a better example, how about being able to do
like 40-75 points of damage PER HIT. Yes, if you use the ALT F2 cheat and
totally unequip all your characters of weapons, you will do TONS of damage.
You can still equip the armor if you wish, but the weapons will not be 
needed
at all for most cases. One word of caution, you will still need to fight
certain creatures which require you to use enchanted weapons.



STORY OF DARKSUN
================
     This is a world which is not known to us in this known universe. This 
is
a world that is known as Athes to the people who live on this planet. This
world was once a great beautiful world with lots of water, food, and 
minerals
for all of the world to share. But later, mages learned how to tap into the
world and use it's power for their own purpose. When this happened, the 
mages
used this power for corruption, wealth, and domination. They would use this
power to take over cities and become kings. They were almost invincible with
these powers. But as the mages used this power, the world itself began to
change. The mages started using up the materials that the world gave. The
mages were getting weaker and so was the world they were using. Then 
suddenly,
the water was starting to disappear from the great oceans, materials were
running low, creatures were becoming more hostile. The people begged for the
mages to help but the mages could no longer use their power to help. Then 
the
oceans went completely dry, materials in mines were tapped out, people were
getting hungry and monsters started to change form and new ones were showing
up. The mages that used these powers lost all their abilities to conrol the
planet and the power they had. The people suddenly realized that the mages
were the real blame for the happenings.

     Now, the planet of Athes is almost a complete desert world. A world 
that
has few resources left for the people of Athes to use. Water is one of the
most precious things that people will fight for. Metals, gems, and jewels 
are
rare and often found only in markets or from people who are rich enough to
have them. Mines can be found, but are void of metals, gems, or other forms 
of
value and/or now homes for the weak and poor who no longer have the ability
to work in cities or towns, or are too weak to fight or defend themselves.
Heroes and warriors are now only fables and tales that are told by story
tellers. Those who are weak and poor will die and those who are strong and
rich will live. Mages and clerics still do exist in this world, but refuse 
to
use the abilities like the mages did for fear that they might destroy the
planet for sure. Weapons are mostly made of bones and stone material, metal
weapons are rare and very expensive to make and forge. Enchanted weapons do
exist on this planet, but are very rare and are hard to find as well as very
expensive to those who can sell as well as afford it. Potions are also rare
due to the fact that they require minerals and materials to form a liquid
substance. All oceanic areas are now wasted with sand and silt. (THAT'S THE
REASON WHY ONE AREA IS CALLED THE SEA OF SILT.) Plant life still does exist,
but only in areas that still have some water left or by farmers who know how
to take care of crops. Cities and towns have kings, but have little or no
magical abilities, but kings do hire mages or clerics for protection.

     The starting point takes place at the slave pens where you are to be
entertainment for the crowds that surround the arena. This begins your story
as adventurers who will try to bring down the king and hope for a better 
place
in this world of Athes, and possibly become heroes for all to know and hear.
And so begins your adventure in the arena.



MAIN MAP YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW
==============================
This is more or less a directional hint map to help you find certain cities
in this game. After all, it is hard to find a lot of the places if you don't
know where you are going. So this will help you find your way around the 
area
when you are going from place to place. If you do not see a line to a place,
from a certain area, then that means you can't get there from that spot and
you will have to find another way around to get there...

TIPS, HINTS, AND THE SOLUTION TO THE ABOVE MAP
==============================================
Before you begin, there are 3 things you must know about the game. These 3
things are what you must accomplish if you plan to beat this game. This is
also the order you need to go in, in order to beat the game the right way.

1.) GET TO TEAQUETZL VILLAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AT THE START OF THE GAME

2.) GATHER ARMIES FROM THE OTHER VILLAGES TO HELP IN THE FINAL BATTLE

3.) BEAT THE DRAJIAN ARMY TO FINISH THE GAME

This is in fact your goals in this game, so please keep in mind about these 
3
things while you are travelling. You can go on the other quests for people 
if
you want to, but remember that in most places, people will not help you 
until
you accomplish tasks or missions for them. As long as you keep in mind about
your goals, you will beat this game.



ARENA
=====
This where you start out, you are sent to the arena to fight some monsters.
This is where you can gain some experience points so you can gain levels
quickly and easily. If you wish to fight more monsters, just say YES to the
REPLY TO ANNOUNCER comment and choose a threatening remark about him. When 
you
do, he will send out more monsters for you to kill. The more monsters you
kill, the more experience you will gain from them. Also search the dead 
bodies
of the humans to find weapons and armour. One of the people hanging has a 
GEM.
If you save him and ask him about his name, (ONE OF THE SLAVES WILL ASK 
ABOUT
HIM IN THE SLAVE PENS) mention about a guy who wants the GEM. You will need
to give him water first or he will not talk to you about it. If after some
battles you want to rest and go back to the SLAVE PENS, just answer NO to 
the
REPLY TO ANNOUNCER comment and you will be asked to head back to the main 
gate
of the SLAVE PENS. Before you leave, do pick up any gold you recieve from 
the
crowd for later use.



SLAVE PENS
==========
There are lots of things to do here, this is a list of what you can do while
you are here...

1.) The first thing to remember is if you see a message that says you are
being called to the arena, just head back to the main doors of the PENS area
and follow the guard to the arena doors. If you wish to fight sooner, just 
go
to the door and use the LOOK icon on the door. It will ask if you want to go
to the arena. The main door is in the northern area.

2.) Find a dark brown pot to use to hold water. One will be in a room near 
the
top of the PENS area from the main door.

3.) Don't worry if you hear about a conversation with some people in the
northeastern part of the SLAVE PENS area. Talk to the gang about an escape.
Try not to mention about the haystack, he will deny that there is anything 
in
that haystack. He will tell you that you will need to fight in the arena 3
different times. (DO NOT INSULT THE ANNOUNCER 3 TIMES, THAT WON'T WORK, YOU
HAVE TO FIGHT THEN COME BACK TO THE SLAVE PENS 3 TIMES FOR THIS TO WORK) 
When
you have done this, go back to the gang and he will be happy to help you in
the escape. (THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO ESCAPE WITHOUT HIM, BUT HIS HELP WILL 
BE
GREAT)

4.) Talk to a woman in one of the rooms that is laying in the hay stack. 
When
you mention about an escape, she will have a headache. Get one of the 
healers
to help her.

5.) Talk to the trustee often. He can give you advice about the slave pens 
and
about the people who are in there too. If you had talked to the woman in the
hey stack, you can ask the trustee to get the healer on the southeastern 
part
of the pens.

6.) When you talk to the healer, at the southern part of the PENS area, he
will mention something about someone screaming. Tell him it was the woman 
you
talked to. He will ask you to take him to her, say YES to it. Then lead him 
to
the woman who had the headache. You will get experience points for it. Now 
you
can talk to her and finish the conversation. Ask the woman about where the
exit is to help you get out.

7.) Go to the healers room to get water for your pot. The water is to the
RIGHT of the enterance, it's in a tub like thing in the next room. Use the 
POT
on the water to fill the pot.

8.) In one room on the west side of the PENS area, there is a room next to a
room you can't get to. This room will be the only one that has a door 
closed.
But in that room is a zombie. If you enter that room, and get too close to 
the
wall, the zombie will telepathically close the door behind you and walk
through the wall and attack you. When he does, try to get who ever is leader
INSIDE that room while you are fighting the zombie. When you do kill it, you
should be in the secret room. Now, check the chest and the grey coffin for
gold and gems. If you failed to get your leader in the room while you were 
in
combat, then you will have to reload any saved games you had, this is very
tricky to do.

9.) In one of the rooms, there is a place to rest. Remember that resting 
areas
look like fire pits and to use them, use the LOOK icon on it. Make sure you
are close enough to LOOK at it.

10.) Also remember to check skeletons once in a while, sometimes they have
useful stuff like weapons or armor or sometimes have items which will be
useful later in the game.

11.) There is another gang here at the southwestern part of the PENS area 
who
will help you escape as well, but he will not help you until later in the
arena. During one of your battles in the arena, he will confront you and ask
to either help him escape or fight him, you may do as you wish, for there is
still another way to escape the SLAVE PENS.

12.) There is a man here at the northwestern part of the SLAVE PENS area who
wants the GEM of the man who is being hanged in the ARENA. Agree to try to 
get
the GEM back for him. Then go back to the ARENA and give the water to the 
man,
then ask about his name and tell him about the man who wants the GEM. Then
return to the SLAVE PITS and go see the man who wanted the GEM. To tell you
the truth, ANY GEM you find will work. It has to be a medium size GEM for 
him
to except it. He will help you escape too, sorta.

13.) Another way to escape the SLAVE PITS is to go to the healers room. 
There
is a door over to the left in his room. Stand right next to the door and use
the ATTACK icon on the door. It is best to use your thief to attack the 
door.
You may take some damage from it, but it will open one way or another. This
way leads to the fountain area, and to a less guarded area of the SLAVE 
PITS.
A guard is in the fountain area, but he can't alert the guards due to the 
loud
fountain, so it is easy to kill him off and escape.

14.) The last and most dangerous way to escape is to go to the main door
which leads to the ARENA and ask him to take you there. When you are outside
the doors, attack one of the 2 people there. When you do, the main guard 
room
will open and you will have a real fight on your hands, but if you succeed 
in
killing all the guards in the SLAVE PITS, you can then go around looting the
rooms, getting money and items you find along the way. Also make sure you 
get
the chests and bags you find. They will help you increase your inventory. To
open a chest in the inventory screen, RIGHT CLICK with your mouse on the 
chest
or bag and that will open it to reveil more space to put stuff in. (YOU 
CANNOT
PUT A CHEST OR BAG IN A CHEST OR BAG, I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU CAN'T, BUT YOU
CAN'T)

15.) If you do decide to take the most dangerous way to escape, make sure 
you
kill the 2 gangs and loot them as well. Also remember to loot the heystack 
in
one of the gangs rooms. It will have an item you could use.

16.) Make sure you check the dead guards for armor and weapons, they will be
useful later in the game. Some also have items like a necklace or staff. One
guard in the SLAVE PENS, in the far western part, has an enchanted weapon.
Kill him and loot his room and dead body to find it.

17.) Make sure you also get the bag of GRAIN from one of the rooms before 
you
leave the SLAVE PENS. The GRAIN will be used later in the game.

18.) Remember that the exit to the SLAVE PENS is to the northwestern part of
SLAVE PITS. Just use the LOOK icon on the grate when you get there. When you
do escape, you will then enter the SEWERS.



SEWERS
======
Here is another list for you to check out...

1.) When you first arrive, you will be greeted by strange rats. They want 
half
your money to allow you to pass. You can, in fact, find a way to NOT pay it.
Don't be hostile, but be a little tough. You can get by without paying any
price by saying you won't pay. For some reason, they will become weak and 
let
you pass.

2.) When you are done bargaining, he will say something about going to see 
his
master. You may do as you wish. It would be best if you didn't follow him.
If you do, the leader will make a proposition for you. Don't except it. The
trick is to come back later when the other rat member asks you to see this
ratman again. What will happen is the one rat in the center of the SEWERS 
will
say that the rat at the southeast took his daughter. When you come back 
here,
talk to the leader again and mention something about the kidnapping and he
will mention about some humans going to use her for sacrifice. Then return 
to
the ratman leader in the center of the SEWERS and mention about what the 
other
ratman said. The leader at the center of the SEWERS will ask for a favor. 
You
mostly want to get the clue word about the kidnappers and the ratman 
daughter
so you can beat this area.

3.) In order to open doors here, use the wheel like object near the doors to
open them. Use the LOOK icon to use the wheel.

4.) Now, go find the other rats lair. You will know you are there if you 
can't
seem to find the wheel for the door. When you get close to the door, a rat
will come up and ask you why you are here. Tell him you are a GLADIATOR, he
will ask you to follow him to his leader. Do follow him to his leader, when
you get here for the first time, he will ask you to go and kill the other 
rat
leader you met earlier. Now, go to the other rat leader you met.

5.) When you get to the other rat leader near the other rats lair, get close
to him and mention why you are here. Ask him why he kidnapped the daughter.
He will he very sad about what he did, and will mention that he gave the
daughter to some druid over to the west. Get all the info you can from him.
When you are done, search the water hole behind him. It's that circle thing
with green sewer stuff in it, use the LOOK ICON on it. The leader will say 
to
get away, but just say you will do what you want or something threatning. 
Now,
return to the other rat leader who's daughter was kidnapped and talk to him.

6.) When you get back, tell the other rat leader who's daughter was 
kidnapped
about what you heard and he will ask you for a favor to rescue his daughter.
Go ahead and except the favor and head west form where you are. Basically, 
you
are looking for someone who is human in a BIG room like area.

7.) When you approach the area where the humans are, first, talk to the
slavers near the area to get info, then enter the door and confront him. 
Now,
talk to him and he will try to convince you to join him. Say NO and attack
him and anyone who enters the door where you are. Make sure you have killed
all the attackers before you go up and open the door just north of you. Once
you have killed everyone, check the body of the laeder for an enchanted 
weapon
and then open the door to the north to enter the room where the kidnapped
daughter is being held. Now, take her back to the spot where you were 
talking
to the person in charge and he will ask you to do one more favor. Might be
best if you save before you do this.

8.) It would be best if you save here if you successfully rescued the 
daughter
of the person in charge. Now, except the favor to help out in fighting the
raid. You want to be careful NOT to hurt the wrong rat members. You will 
know
who is with you by the BRIGHT GRAY color on their skin. The ones who are 
dark
grey are your emenies that you must kill. Make sure you do not even 
accidently
hurt the wrong ones or you will have to reload your saved game. Anyway, once
you have destroyed the right ones, return to the person in charge and he 
will
then give you your reward for helping his tribe. He will also ask you to see
the room with the three skulls in the room. Go there, it is in the next room
to the right of the person in charge. Just so you know, he gives you an
enchanted helmet that gives you protection from psionic attacks and some 
other
stuff.

9.) When you talk to the skulls, get as much info as possible. Along with
that, they will tell you to LOOK inside one of the sewer holes next to you.
(THEY ARE THE GREEN HOLES IN THE WALL, LOOKS LIKE MUCK) Use the LOOK icon on
it and you will find a rod of some type. They will also give you a bowl 
which
will allow you to communicate with them when you are in the sewers only.

10.) Well, now that you know that you might find stuff in the holes, go back
to the beginning and search the other holes you missed. Search the hole in
the FIRST rat lairs area you came to. Search the hole in the room where you
met the first leader at to find a ring. Some holes may have more than ONE 
item
in them so make sure you search each hole more than once. Holes that have
water coming out of them may not be searchable, but try anyway. Another 
thing
to find in the holes is a shell of some type. The horn will be needed later 
so
save at least one horn. Do be careful with some of the holes, some of them
contain enemies like slimes.

11.) When you are done searching the southern part of the sewers, start 
making
your way to the northern area and search the holes along the way. Now, be
careful when going north, you might run into some monsters along the way.

12.) Make sure you go to the one area that is covered with sewer water. This
area has 3 or 4 holes here with some great stuff here. It is guarded by a
monster, so be ready to attack the monster when you get here. When you get
close to this area, you will have to climb up to get there. Use your thief 
as
your leader and let him or her climb up. Now, kill the monster, then search
the holes there to find an enchanted axe and some other great stuff.

13.) When you are done with that area, move on and head east. Along the way,
you will find some holes. One will have a button to press, when you press 
it,
it will open a secret door in the wall. You will also run into a way to exit
the sewers, but don't exit the sewers yet, keep heading east.

14.) Keeping heading east until you are at the northeastern part of the
sewers. Above you should be a section of sewer water. There is no way to 
enter
this area. Remember the ROD you got from the talking skulls, use the rod 
here.
(TO USE THE ROD PROPERLY, GO TO YOUR INVENTORY AND RIGHT CLICK ON THE ROD,
THEN LEFT CLICK ON THE HEAD ICON TO ACTIVATE THE ROD) When you do use the
rod, the sewer water will vanish and there will now be a door to go to. 
Again,
use your thief as your leader and do somemore climbing. Now, enter the door.

15.) If you do enter DAGOLAR's LAIR or the CROP FIELDS, this is where the 
copy
protection comes to play, so I hope you didn't think I would include that.
Anyway, once you answer the question correctly, you will then enter the 
proper
location. Just so you know, when you are done with DAGOLAR's LAIR, you come
back here and go back to the area where you found the secret door at. That 
is
where you exit the sewers when you get done with DAGOLAR's LAIR. When you 
exit
the SEWERS from the secret door, you will be in the CROP FIELDS. One other
thing to mention is that you can go back to the SLAVE PENS, but the problem 
is
when you return for the first time, you will be up against 15-20 soldiers, 
so
you might want to think about that if you plan on going back. The only 
reason
you would want to go back is when you are powerful enough to take on an 
army,
like near the end of the game. That's really the best time to go back there.



DAGOLAR'S LAIR
==============
Before you read this, just so you know, you do not need to complete this 
area
in order to beat this game, this is just an extra adventure to the game and
you can get some extra items out of it if you beat it. Here is a list of
things to do here...

1.) When you first get here, there are a few slimes you will have to deal
with. These slimes are more deadly than the ones you met in the sewers. As
long as they don't cast WEB on you, you will be okay.

2.) Now, go around in the rooms of where you are and see if you can loot
something. When you are done, there is a door near your area over on the
right. Don't worry about the person on the other side. Just get close and 
LOOK
at the door. When it opens, the person on the other side of the door will 
want
to join you. When he does ask, just go ahead and say YES. He will be helpful
for a while, but helpful none the less. Just follow his lead.

3.) If you see any skeletons, do try to see if you can loot the skeletons.
Anyway, as you are going, the person coming with you will mention something
about the door with many eyes. What you need are special pendants. These
pendants are in a room with 4 guards there, what a coincidence, there's 4 of
you. Anyway, just kill the guards and get the pendants. Every character 
needs
to wear a pendant, or the one door with the eyes won't open. Now, might be
best if you SAVE here, the next part is very tricky.

4.) (DON'T FORGET TO LOOT AREAS AS YOU ARE GOING. ALSO, THERE ARE AREAS 
WHERE
THERE ARE HOLES ON THE GROUND. USE THE "LOOK" ICON ON THE HOLES. ALSO, SOME 
OF
THE GRATES ON THE GROUND ARE BROKEN, SO YOU CAN CHECK THEM TO) Head back to
the door with the eyes and stand in front of it or use it with the LOOK 
icon.
(FROM NOW ON, ANYTIME I SAY "USE", "GET", "SEARCH", OR "EXAMINE", IT WILL 
MEAN
TO USE THE LOOK ICON ON THE ITEM, OBJECT, OR PERSON) Once the doors open and
you go in, the doors will close behind you. Now you have no choice but to 
kill
DAGOLAR. That's the reason for the save. Anyway, go ahead and start 
searching
for DAGOLAR's room.

5.) When you start to go, you will run into a room with lots of statues. 
This
is DAGOLAR's statues of people he has killed. (ACTUALLY, HE ENTRAP THEIR 
SOULS
IN THE STATUE, LEAVING THEM ALIVE TO SUFFER) Talk to the guy at the north 
part
of this room, he will start to talk about the ways of dying. When you 
finish,
you should be fighting some creatures here. If you said you wanted to die, 
you
were very stupid. Anyway, kill the horde of creatures he summons and 
continue
your adventure. Also in that room are talking statues, they look like a heap
of heads in one statue. Talk to them to find out more about DAGOLAR. Notice
that the person who came with you seems to know these statues very well.

6.) Head to the west from the statue room and you will run into another 
guards
room. Kill them and loot. Now, there are more doors to choose from. Hmmmm, 
now
which way. Don't go anywhere, move the mouse around to scan the area. You 
now
want to go in a room where there is one zombie in that room. Find that room
and go there. The door to get there is above you, then go east and follow 
the
hallway to the room. You will know it is the right one if the zombie is 
behind
a closed door. Another way to tell is if the person who came with you 
doesn't
want to enter the room. When you are there, use or open the door and talk to
the zombie.

7.) When you do talk to the zombie, try not to be hostile, be friendly. Try
to translate what he is really saying. The trick here is to let him follow 
you
and let him help you find DAGOLAR. If you succeeded in letting him help you,
return outside and the person who came with you will transform into DAGOLAR.
Hmmmm, the zombie used to be DAGOLAR's brother. Makes you wonder why DAGOLAR
won't help his brother die, a zombie is no way to live.

8.) Now that you know what DAGOLAR looks like, go back to the guards room 
you
just came from. Now, from the guards room, go west. (WHILE YOU ARE AT IT, 
TAKE
OFF THE PENDANTS YOU ARE WEARING, THEY ARE NOW USELESS SINCE YOU ARE NOW
INSIDE DAGOLAR'S LAIR) Find the prison room and go there. Talk to the
prisoners to get more info.

9.) Now, scan the area to find DAGOLAR. You will know that you found 
DAGOLAR's
chamber if you see a flaming door somewhere over to the northwest area. Head
to that flaming door and stop right in front of it. The zombie should help 
out
by going in the flames and stepping on the touch plate on the other side. 
Now
you can get to DAGOLAR without taking damage.

10.) When you get to his chambers, the zombie will want to give DAGOLAR one
last hug of goodbye, but DAGOLAR has lost his feelings for his brother and
kills him. In the process, he blames you for his death and sends all his
slimes to attack you. You will be in for a fight since they can cast WEB. 
Now,
go for DAGOLAR and kill him. When he is dead, search or examine his body for
some great stuff. He has some wands, an enchanted dagger, some armor, and a
special gem. Now, if you want, finish looting the place, then return to the
enterance to this place and leave to go back to the SEWERS. When you get 
back
to the SEWERS, return to the part where you found the secret door to the 
west
from DAGOLAR's enterance of the SEWERS. This will take you to the CROP 
FIELDS.

11.) If you want to have some fun, find the room that has buckets of goop or
strange purple stuff inside the buckets and go to that room. Pick up a 
bucket
and put it in the center of the circle on the floor. Now, read the book that
is on the stand while the bucket of goop is in the center and when you do, 
say
YES to the part about if you want to read the chant. The bucket of goop will
turn into a slime. This is how DAGOLAR created his army of slimes. Nothing
really special, but fun to try out.

13.) In DAGOLAR's chambers is a piano or organ. You can play it if you want,
but if you play it a few times, it will do something strange to you. Make 
sure
you save before you try to play it.



CROP FIELDS
===========
If you took the secret door from the SEWERS, you will appear in the south-
eastern area of the CROP FIELDS. If you took the area of the SEWERS where
there was an opening already, you would appear in the southern area of the
CROP FIELDS. Once you get here, go to your options screen, (THE OPTIONS 
SCREEN
IS THE ONE THAT HAS JUST BUTTONS INSIDE A BOX LIKE AREA) click on the MAP 
VIEW
button and check the place out. Note that there are 3 areas that have a
squared area and all 3 of them have a person in each. The smaller square on
the east side has a man who will give you a large GEM if you help him escape
so talk to him first and agree to help him. Now, head to the southwestern 
area
and look for an obilisk. (A ROUND STONE HEDGE WITH A HOLE IN THE CENTER OF 
IT)
Place the green gem you got from the man on the obilisk. You may have to 
deal
with some guards at the obilisk, but there is only 3-4 guards, so it 
shouldn't
be too much trouble getting past them. The larger square on the map has a 
man
named OLD-ONE-EYED. Talk to him about helping you escape here. The easiest 
way
to escape is to the east, but going to the north will take you to TEAQUETZL
DESERT. Personally, I would take the north side. So tell old one eyed that 
you
want to find a way to destract the guards. Anyway, just agree about going
north and follow him there. You may run into a battle anyway, So be ready 
just
in case. Once the guards are out of the way, stand next to the gate. Now 
here,
you may need to either LOOK or ATTACK the gate, so try both until the gate
opens. Once it opens, leave the area and you will appear in the TEAQUETZL
DESERT.



TEAQUELZT DESERT
================
Some things to do while you are here, under the assumption you came from 
CROP
FIELDS area...

1.) When you first get here, If you saved the man in the CROP FIELDS, he 
will
die by being killed by bulletes and then you will be attacked to. Plus, you
will find a dead body on the ground. Search the body for a note of sometype.
I don't know if you can get the note, but you can at least read what it 
says.


2.) A little further west is an old man camp site. He tells you something
about the note you got, but nothing really important. Plus, you can rest 
near
his camp.

3.) Also in this area is a lizard. You may talk to her if you wish, but I
wouldn't until you have talked to a lizard in the SALT FLATS first. When you
have talked to the lizard in the SALT FLATS first, then talk to the lizard
here, you will get experience for mentioning a new tribe to the west of 
here.
Say that his totem is the whirl wind and the lizard will be impressed. Make
sure you do not be too rude to the lizard, she is a lizard after all so she
only likes her kind. If she asks if you want anything, just say something 
like
our friendship will be our best value, or something to that effect.

4.) This is also where the final battle of this game will take place, so 
when
you have completed most of this game, you will end up here for the final
showdown with lots of guards, mages, monsters, and druids.

5.) (THIS PART ONLY IMPLIES THAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED EVERYTHING ELSE AND 
YOU
ARE AT THE FINAL BATTLE OF THIS GAME. THIS ONLY TELLS HOW TO BEAT THE 
ARMIES.)
Your first battle won't be easy. You will have to fight lots of soldiers 
here
and take on some spell casters as well. Best if you tried to take out the
spell casters first, they will be tougher than the soldiers. Do try to keep
all your allies alive during this part of the fight because you will have 
one
more battle after this one. If you happened to remember to take the GENIE 
with
you when you came from the SECRET TEMPLE, and you have one more wish left 
from
the GENIE, after the first battle is over, wish for full health and recover
dead characters, if you can. Now, the final battle. After the first battle,
heal your characters, then roam around until you see a message about an army
coming towards your area. This will be the most toughest battle of all. The
soldiers here can do something like 10-20 points of damage per attack. They
are very tough to kill, even with all the toughest armor and the the most
powerful weapons in the game. The best spells to cast against this army are
flame wall, cloud kill, web, summon elemental, charm person, fireball, and a
few other misc. offensive spells. It would be best if you took out the 
druids
first, or they will heal their soldiers and use some spells against you. If
you can't keep most of the people alive when you are at the final battle,
that's okay. It is rather hard to keep most of your allies alive during this
part of the battle. If you did manage to keep your allies alive, then after
the battle, you will be able to talk to them again and see how they manage 
to
live to tell their tales to their friends. Plus, after you beat the game, 
you
can continue your adventures and see what you can do in this game. Also, you
get a new weapon, the dragonsbane, which is now somewhat useless, since you
have no more real enemies to kill except a few misc. monsters you run into
while you are roaming the areas of the game. Plus, search the soldiers you
killed for stuff as well. Since you beat the game, there is nothing left to
do except to go complete any missions you didn't, or try out some of the 
areas
of the game that you didn't try out yet.

6.) The exits here are northwest which takes you to TEAQUELZT VILLAGE, east
takes you to the RED SANDS, south takes you to the CROP FIELDS, and west 
takes
you to the SALT FLATS. It's up to you which way you want to go. If this is
your first time here, it would be best if you went east, so you can get in 
to
the VILLAGE northwest of here. One thing, even though it obviously shows you
can go northeast, you really can't, due to some type of sand storm.



RED SANDS
=========
Some things you can do while you are here...

1.) There is a person wondering around that looks arabian in a way. Find him
and talk to him, he has info for you. He can tell you about any enchanted
weapons or objects you bring to him. Plus, if you say the right things, he
will give you a ROD which helps you find certain metals like gold, weapons,
items, artifacts, etc. And he also gives you a large red GEM. Come back here
often during your travels and talk to this guy to find out more about
enchanted items you find. When asked to say something about where he needs 
to
be, tell him to stay right where he is, so you can find him easily the next
time you see him. One thing you must know is that if he asks about the 
VEILED
ALLIANCE, say no, the VEILED ALLIANCE does not even exist in this game at 
all.

2.) Search the area for an obilisk. It's a round shaped stone hedge that has
a hole in the certer of it. Once you get the red GEM from the man, put the 
red
GEM in the center of the obilisk. Yes, it will be useful later in the game.
This obilisk will be on a hill like area, but there are ways up the hill.

3.) There is an alchemist here on the lower side of the hill. If you talk to
him, he will ask if you would like to go on some quests for him. Go ahead 
and
except the quest. He will also tell you to be on the look out for some items
like butterfly wings, fire eel tongues, and sand howler eyes. Your first 
quest
will be to take a pith extract to a village called TEAQUELZT VILLAGE, say 
YES
and he will hand you the pith extract. Make sure you don't lose this, or you
will be stuck without it, until you find the pith extract. (JUST SO YOU 
KNOW,
EACH TIME YOU DO A TASK, COME BACK HERE AND GET YOUR REWARD. THEN HE WILL 
ASK
YOU TO GO ON ANOTHER TASK. I WILL MENTION LATER WHAT TASKS HE WILL TAKE YOU 
ON
WHEN YOU FINISH THE LAST TASK.) When you do complete these tasks, he will 
give
you enchanted items or money for your tasks. So do return to him when you
finished with a task. Plus, you can rest here at his camp site.

4.) Over to the east area, there is a man who is an animal trainer. He has a
scorpion type creature next to him. You can talk to him if you want, but he
doesn't have much to do with the game. When you talk to him, try to mention
something about buying the animal. When you do, he will ask you to get him a
bag of salt for him. (THE BAG OF SALT IS LOCATED IN THE SALT FLATS AREA.) 
Even
if you do give him the salt to buy the animal, the animal will run away from
you if you try to leave the screen, so the animal is actually useless to 
you.

5.) The exits here are north, south, east and west. If you choose the north,
you will enter the STRANGE OASIS. If you exit south, you will be at the
STRANDED CARAVAN, If you choose the east exit, you will be at the MONSTERS
CAVE. If you choose the west exit, you will be at the TEAQUELZT DESERT. I'll
leave it up to you to choose the direction you want. (IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN TO
TEAQUETZL VILLAGE YET, THEN YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO THERE FIRST BEFORE YOU GO 
TO
ANY OTHER DIRECTION HERE)

HINTS ABOUT THE TASKS FOR THE ALCHEMIST
=======================================
The first task is to take the pith extract for him to a village. The second
task is to find the DOOM BLOSSOM for him. The third and final task is to 
find
that scorpion like creature and get his stinger for him. The pith extract is
to be taken to TEAQUELZT VILLAGE, the DOOM BLOSSOM can be found at CEDRITLE
VILLAGE, the scorpions stinger can be found at the STUPID TRADERS. He also
wants some fire eel tongues, sand howler eyes, and butterfly wings. Fire 
eels
look like groups of sand clumps, sand howlers look like dogs with many eyes 
on
its head, butterfly wings can be found at the STRANGE OASIS. Finding the 
fire
eels or sand howlers will be somewhat difficult, since they are creatures 
that
you fight. You'll just have to wait a while or look around in certain areas
until you see these enemies. Just so you know, I'll mention the exact 
loaction
for each item that the alchemist mentioned.



TEAQUETZL VILLAGE
=================
Here are some things to do when you get here...

1.) First off, make sure you have the pith extract when you get here. The
reason for this is because the guard will ask you what you are doing here.
If you do have the pith extract, just tell him you came to see father
(something) and he will let you pass. Don't be rude, he's just fussy over 
the
fact that a crazed seer is telling strange tails about what will happen. He
will also ask you to see the councel members to the north.

2.) When you do get past the guard, and you have the pith extract, head to 
the
northwest from the entrance and look for an alchemist with a lab type 
building
and a cleric there. Talk to him and he will ask about the pith. Say you do
have it and he will ask if you could make the chemical. You can do it by 
going
to the left side of the building and using the pith on one of the flasks of
stuff. When you do use the pith here and find the proper flask, it will make
a bottle of stuff you will need later. (HINT: THIS FLASK YOU USE LOOKS LIKE 
IT
IS CONNECTED TO OTHER FLASKS, LOOKS LIKE A LAB TYPE OF FLASK WITH TUBES
CONNECTING TO THE FLASK. THAT IS WHAT YOU USE THE PITH ON.) When you do get
it to create the stuff, it will look sorta like a yellowish liquid in a jar
when you are done. He will also ask if you could take this jar of stuff to
GEDRON VILLAGE. Go ahead and say yes. You will be at the village later 
anyway.
Since you used the pith extract, you can go back to the RED SANDS and return
to the alchemist. You don't have to do it now, but when you get a chance. He
will then give a new mission to find the DOOM BLOSSOM.

3.) Head to the north a little ways and you will see 3 large buildings. 
(MIGHT
WANT TO USE YOUR MAP FOR A BETTER LOOK OF THE PLACE.) The center most 
building
is where you might want to go. (JUST SO YOU KNOW, SINCE NO ONE IS IN EITHER
OF THE OTHER 2 BUILDINGS ON THE SIDES, YOU CAN LOOT THOSE 2 AREAS AND TAKE
SOME STUFF THERE. THOSE ROOMS DO HAVE STUFF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE. MIGHT BE
BEST IF YOU LOOT THEM BEFORE YOU GO TO THE CENTER BUILDING.) When you do go 
to
the center building, they will talk to you about a DRAJIAN army that will
attack the village. Again, don't be hostile, listen to what they have to 
say.
This is a major part of the game and is needed to help beat the game. This 
is
where you must come sometime soon during gameplay. Anyway, keep talking to 
the
people here and get as much info as possible. Get some info about the seer
that told them about this army. Plus, the counsel members will ask that you
help get armies from the other villages. This is your other goal in the 
game,
so do agree to help out in doing that as well. One more thing, when you have
asked for help from a village, come back here to the councel chamber and 
they
will say you have new treasure in your home and sometimes give you 
experience
for doing so. Do return here often during your travels.

4.) After you have talked to the councel members, go to the large buildings
on either sides and talk to the leader first. (THE WEST BUILDING) Make sure
you have a person with a high CHARISMA as leader. The reason is to talk 
about
his looks and scare. Talk to him about his family, his life, the village, 
and
mention his scare on his face and you will get experience points for doing 
so.
Now go talk to the other member (THE EAST BUILDING) and he will be very 
rude,
but just be friendly to him, but do mention that he is acting rude.

5.) After talking to the councel members, you can then go around talking to
people. They will be glad you helped them and tell you what they do for a
living and will also provide info for each councel member you talked to. 
They
will also give some info about the seer, so do get as much info as possible.

6.) In the center of the village you can buy and sell weapons. They don't 
have
very much enchanted stuff, but they do have some good weapons.

7.) The seer they were talking about is over to the southeastern area. His
house is at the very bottom of the screen at the southeastern area. Go and
talk to the seer. When you do, get as much info as possible, if you can. He
speaks to you in riddles but if you understand him, it will be helpful. When
you do talk to him, he will give you some stuff. One of the items is Llod's
Rod. I'll explain how to use it later, but there are still other things you
need to do here first.

8.) Look for a room, north of the seer, with some chests in that house. That
is in fact YOUR HOME. Remember that the councel said that they will give you
residence here. Well, since this is your home, go ahead and search the 
chests
for stuff in them. Some are in fact enchanted weapons, so get them. Some is
just gold so get that too. Some is just fruid and regular weapons, get it if
you are low on good weapons and use the fruit on your weaker charatcers. You
can also rest here as well. Another thing to remember is that when you do 
get
an army from a village, go talk to the councel members, then go to your HOME
and check the chests for more stuff. Each time you get armies for this 
place,
they give you more stuff in the chest. Sometimes you get enchanted weapons
and more gold, but sometimes you get stuff like fruit and normal weapons. 
So,
do come back here often during your travels when you get an army to join the
fight.

9.) If you are looking for armor here, go to the eastern area and the armor
shop will be south of the alchemist. He does have some good armor if you 
need
some for your other characters. You can also talk to him about some of the
other characters here.

10.) Go to the well. (NORTHWEST OF YOUR HOME) Talk to the old man there if 
you
want. This well actually takes you somewhere. But, the problem is there is
water in the well. Use the LOOK icon on the barrel that is RIGHT of the 
well.
When you do, the well water will disappear. Don't worry about the water, it
will return when you use that barrel again, but don't use it now, wait till
after you come back from the well. Anyway, once the well water is gone, use
the LOOK icon on the empty well and it will ask if you want to enter the 
well.
say YES and you will go down into the well. When you get down there, you 
will
see a large BLUE GEM so get it. You will also see a shadow here. Talk to the
shadow. He will tell you a story about him, and his lover. He will also ask
you to go on a mission for him. Go ahead and say yes. What he wants is his
heart, along with Tristram's heart brought here. Tristram's heart is in the
same place as Tristram. To find Tristram, her entrance will be located at 
the
STRANDED CARAVAN, where the bridge is. Once you have both his and Tristram's
heart, you are to come back here with both hearts and he will now go with 
you.
He will mention that you need to find the ALTAR and put his and Tristram's
heart on there. Anyway, once you have talked to him, and have gotten the 
large
BLUE GEM, go back to the surface. (I BET YOUR WONDERING HOW YOU GET BACK 
FROM
HERE. ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROOM, YOU WILL SEE A LONG ROPE AGAINST THE 
WALL
GOING UPWARDS, STAND CLOSE TO IT AND IT WILL PROMPT YOU IF YOU WANT TO GO 
BACK
UP) When you do, return to the entrance to the village, but don't exit, go a
little northeast and you should see an obilisk. Put the BLUE GEM in the
obilisk. You should have now activated the obilisks. Just so you know, if 
you
do find the shadows heart, return to the well and enter it, then stand in 
the
middle of the circle just south of the entrance. Now, use the heart while in
the center and you will teleport to a different part of the underground
temple. (TO USE THE HEART, WHILE STANDING IN THE CIRCLE IN THE SHADOWS ROOM,
GO TO YOUR INVENTORY, RIGHT-CLICK ON HIS HEART, THEN LEFT-CLICK THE HEAD 
ICON.
IF YOU NEED A HINT ON WHERE THE SHADOWS HEART IS, IT WAS WITH THE WOMAN IN 
THE
WYVERN TOWER. WHEN YOU KILL HER, SHE GIVES YOU A SILVER NECKLACE AND A 
HEART,
THAT IS WHERE IT IS.)

11.) Now, here is where Llod's Rod will come into play. When you return to 
the
surface, go to your inventory screen and RIGHT-CLICK on Llod's Rod, then
LEFT-CLICK on the head icon. This will summon a spirit and you can talk to 
him
about the rod and him. Get as much info as possible about him and the rod.
Once you are done, use the rod again and choose the travel option. You will
then get a list of places you can go that have the obilisk. Yes, when you 
find
all the gems for the obilisk, the rod will be used to travel where ever the
obilisk is.

12.) (THIS ONLY IMPLIES THAT YOU HAVE BEATEN THE DRAJIAN ARMY AND SAVED THE
TEAQUETZL VILLAGE FROM DEATH.) When you have beaten the Drajian army in the
final battle, return here and talk to everyone. Go north and talk to the
councel members, and they will ask you to be leader of their village. You 
may
say what ever you want, it doesn't really matter since you still get to roam
the world anyway.

13.) If you happen to have the meteor found in the LAVA LAND, then go to the
armor smith, just south of the druids home. What you need to do is when you
get to the armor smith's home, go to the right side of his room and use the
meteor on the anvil that is here. When you do, the meteor turns into a rod 
of
some type. Then, get the bellows (THE STRANGE TRIANGLE THING ON THE GROUND,
NEXT TO THE HOT COALS.) and use it on the hot coals to get it very hot. Now,
use the rod you just created on the hot coals, then use the rod on the anvil
again, and you will create an enchanted weapon.

14.) Obviously, the only exits are to use Llod's Rod or exit south. (JUST SO
YOU KNOW, YOU CAN USE LLOD'S ROD ANYWHERE EXCEPT FOR CAVES AND TEMPLES. THAT
WAY IF YOU GET LOST, JUST USE THE ROD AND IT WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO A VILLAGE
OR NEAR A VILLAGE.)



STRANDED CARAVAN
================
1.)When you get here, go over to the people by the large smashed wagon east 
of
where you are and talk to them. They will say a band of thugs are going to
kill them if you don't help them. Head south of where you are and you will
over hear a conversation about the thugs. When one starts to move toward the
north, attack him right away or he will kill the men at the broken wagon. If
you managed to survive the attack, go back and talk to the men over by the
smashed wagon again and they will say that another group of thugs took the
women and children hostage. Now, head to the northwest a little ways and you
will hear a conversation go on again. (MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT ATTACK THE WRONG
PEOPLE, ONLY ATTACK THE UGLY LARGE THUGS THAT ARE HERE) Attack the thugs 
then
go talk to the hostages. Tell them about what you did and they will ask if 
you
will help them take them back. Agree to do so and head back to the smashed
wagon. The people will be over joyed and will gather together. Now, go to 
the
group and talk to the leader. Yes, he will be hard to find, but this will
help. This is how the group will somewhat form when you rescue the 
hostages...

The leader will be hard to see, but with this hint, you will be able to find
him and talk to him. When you do, mention that you helped these people. He
will reward you with some stuff. One is a horned sword. It's not enchanted,
but it does do a lot of damage. If you look at the small yellow box in that
area, you will find something as well. Plus, while you are talking to him, 
and
if you have been to TEAQUETZL VILLAGE before you came here, ask for his help
for the last battle against the DRAJIAN army. Well, that's all for this 
place.
In fact, there will be no need to EVER come back here, so you are now done
with this part of the map completely. The only exits are west which returns
you to the CROP FIELDS or north of here which takes you to the RED SANDS. 
I'll
leave it up to you which way you want to go. Personally, I'd take the RED
SANDS exit since there is nothing to do back at the CROP FIELDS.

2.) Over in the northern area, there is a bridge there. This bridge is
actually an entrance to the underground temple. Hmmmm, you still need a rope
to climb down the shaft. Hey, look over to the upper-right of the bridge.
There are some vines there that would make excellent rope. (BROWNISH-GREEN
PLANTS) Use the LOOK icon on the vines and by doing so, you will create some
rope. Now, get the rope, then stand on the bridge again. Now, go to your
inventory and use the rope. (RIGHT-CLICK ON THE ROPE, THEN LEFT-CLICK THE 
HEAD
ICON) When you do, you will automatically climb down and enter the temple.
(IT IS NOT BEST IF YOU COME HERE FIRST. ONLY COME HERE IF YOU MET THE OTHER
SHADOW FROM TEAQUETZL) When you arrive here, a shadow is in the other room 
to
the left of where you are. If you met the other shadow first, then go talk 
to
the shadow here. She will mention something about someone coming to get her.
Talk to her and get as much info as possible. Do mention you have come here 
to
bring her somewhere. When you do, she will give you her heart and she will 
say
she is ready. When you get the heart, go to your inventory screen and use 
the
heart now. (RIGHT-CLICK ON HER HEART, THEN LEFT-CLICK ON THE HEAD ICON TO 
USE
IT) When you do, her spirit will enter the heart. Now, if you have both
TRISTRAM's heart, and TYNAN's heart, return to TEAQUETZL and show the shadow
there both the hearts.



STRANGE OASIS
=============
Some things to do here when you get here, under the assumption that you came
from RED SANDS...

1.) When you arrive from the RED SANDS area, go north a little ways and you
will find seed pods. Examine the seed pods and use them, then when asked, 
say
YES to the plant the seed question. Seed pods are small brown stick shaped
objects that are only in this area. When you do plant the seed pod, a 
creature
will come and thank you for being nice to the OASIS. When you talk to him,
mention that you would like to have some butterfly wings and he will give 
you
some.

2.) It is a very big NO NO to attack any of the butterflies here. The 
creature
you met will be upset for doing so. If you do kill or shoot a butterfly, 
when
the creature accuses you of being "MEAN" to this area, just apologize and 
say
you didn't know that. He will leave you alone but will warn you that he will
be watching you from now on. Also he gives you some butterfly wings in the
process. Now, if you attack the butterflies again, he will not become
reasonable with you any more and attack you.

3.) There is a man at the northwestern area who is with his guards. If you 
get
close, he will see you and act as though he is threatened. Just talk to him
and mention that you want to know where to find a treasure at. He tells you
it's at the EYE OF A DRAGON in the SALT FLATS. When he does tell you, you 
may
either let him go, or kill him. He does have some neat stuff if you do kill
him, but, he was also telling the truth about the treasure. I'll explain 
later
in this FAQ.

4.) The only exits here are southeast which takes you to the RED SANDS, or
northwest which takes you to the CAPTURED SLAVES. It's up to you which way 
to
go from here.



MONSTERS CAVE
=============
There is one thing you must know about this area, you do not need to come 
here
at all to complete this game, this is actually an area where you can choose 
to
avoid it, or try to see if you are great enough to take on what ever is 
inside
the cave here. In other words, this area will NOT have any outcome towards 
the
end of the game, it's entirely up to you if you want to solve this area. 
Some
things to do while you are here...

1.) When you first get here, go a little south and you will find a lizard
tribe there. Talk to the leader and he will say that shadows took his most
valued treasure, and he will mention something about someone coming to help
them. Say that you are the ones who will help. Don't try to get ALL the 
info,
or he will become mean for pestering him too much. When they are happy to 
know
that you will retreive the treasure, head east and you will see some ancient
ruins area where shadows live. When you approach them, they will get close 
and
attack you. Kill all the shadows in the area. When you kill them all, the
lizards will all form a group near you, so go back and talk to them. They 
will
be happy and will want to kill you. YES, I said kill you. Now, kill all the
lizard men, then return to the ruins area and look for a ring. That ring is
enchanted so get it and let one of your characters wear it.

2.) Over to the northern area, there are some creatures that look similiar 
to
the ones you faught over at the STRANDED CARAVAN. They are only guarding the
entrance to the cave. If you get close, they will say something about you 
need
to leave 'cause you have no purpose here. Have your psionicist or thief as
leader and try to bluff your way past the guards. You want to say you were
commanded here, then tell them to let you in or they will be punished. If 
you
end up fighting, then just kill them all and then enter the cave. Once you
enter the cave, you will be in WORM MINES.

3.) There are 2 people over to the east area that are wondering around. When
you talk to the one that CAN speak, he will say they are worshipping a god 
of
some sort. If you ask about the god, they will take you to it and show you a
stupid stone like structure. I have not found a purpose for any of this and 
I
have not found a way to solve it YET.

4.) The only exits here are west which takes you to the RED SANDS, and north
which takes you to the WORM MINES.



WORM MINES
==========
When you get here, the large creatures will not be so violent for some 
reason
so don't wory about fight when you first arrive here. Some things to do 
while
you are here...

1.) When you get here, you will be near one of the miners here, talk to him
and see if you can get him to show you how to get to someones chamber. Be
friendly with him. He will then go so follow him. He will take you just
outside the mining area and tell you to go east from there. Just in case 
this
doesn't work, follow the cave until you come upon a worker who os stirring
something. Talk to him and get him to take you to a leader or someone. He 
will
go off so follow him until you come to a room with someone in it. Talk to 
him.
He will mention that this place is under a lot of danger. If you were 
friendly
enough to him, he will ask you to help him out. Go ahead and do so. He will
also give you some advice as to how to get past the guards over to the 
eastern
area. Do follow his advice when you get there. After you talk to him, it 
might
be best if you saved your game here.

2.) While you are here, go to some of the rooms and get the chests and bags
here so you can fill up on more inventory. You can check out what is in each
chest or bag, but some will only have useless stuff like bone maces, or bows
and arrows.

3.) When you get to the area where there are some large creatures in a group
near some rooms to the east, be careful here. Just do as the one person you
met said and don't give them any questions, just act tough and make some
strong comments about the druid that is mentioned. If you did this 
correctly,
they will let you pass. (ONE BUG IN THE GAME WAS HERE TO. SOMEHOW, WHEN THEY
TOLD ME TO LEAVE, I TRIED TO GET BY WITHOUT A FIGHT, AND I DID.)

4.) The only exits here are in the eastern area, where the chambers are. 
There
are 2 exits in that area, one leading down, taking you to an area that has a
teleporter in this room, it is also guarded by a shadow, or you can go east,
that will take you to the MAIN CASTLE. If you talked to the blind creature,
then you might want to go south, if you didn't, then maybe you might want 
to,
or you can take your chances in the MAIN CASTLE.



MAGICAL SUMMONING
=================
The only real thing to do here is to head to the southern area and talk to 
the
shadow to the south. If you did not talk to the one person who was blind in
the WORM MINES, then you would have been attacked by the shadow, so make 
sure
you did talk to the blind creature before you come here. When you talk to 
the
shadow, say you will listen to his story. Don't be hostile, be friendly to
him. He will then ask you to do a task for him and end the curse of this 
area.
Say YES to it and he will reward you if you do complete the task. Once after
you have helped him and killed the druid he mentioned, come back here and he
gives you some powerful armor for your characters.



MAIN CASTLE
===========
Here is some things you can do while you are here...

1.) When you first get here, start walking east and someone will magically
appear and warn you not to get any closer. Just ignore the warning and keep
going east. Then you will run into a thri-kreen here. He will fight you.
Don't worry too much, he isn't that good of a fighter, and besides, he is 
ONE,
you are 4, so the odds are in your favor. When you beat him, check his body.
He is carrying an enchanted weapon on him. This is a throwing weapon that
casts a small flame wall on the person you attack it with. It has unlimited
charges so use it to the fullest.

2.) Be careful when you approach the entrance to the castle, or the BABAU 
will
approach you and ask what you are doing here. I have not found a way to get
past him without a fight YET.

3.) When you do get past the BABAU, just past the entrance, there is a
ceremony going on above you. It would not be wise to interupt yet, wait till
later. Start heading east and find a room with a large creature there. He 
will
be in the kitchen like area over to the east. When you talk to him, he will
mention something about a transformation he is going through. Get as much 
info
as possible, but don't be hostile. After your talk, wait a few minutes and a
BABAU will come to get this creature. He will then take him somewhere. 
Hmmmm,
the ceremony you saw when you came here had a large creature like the one 
you
talked to. So go back to the ceremony and check it out.

4.) When you have talked to the large creature in the kitchen like area, go
back to the ceremony you saw and when asked, just sit and wait and read what
is going on. Wait again and you will find out that they don't really 
transform
anyone, they actually kill those that are ready to be transformed. After 
that
message, go help the large creature. Only attack the BABAU and do what you
can to keep the large creature alive, so do save before you get here.

5.) When you do save his life, you can talk to him and ask him where the 
druid
is in this castle. He will be happy to take you there so follow him. Make 
sure
you talk to him before you try to find the druid at the south. You need to
know about his weakness so you can beat him.

6.) When you do follow the creature to the druids room, the creature that 
lead
you here will die and the druid that is here will talk to you and mention
something about Dagolar. Just tell him he is dead and then he will ask if 
you
want to join his band of druids. Do not except this, because he will first
teleport you to a room, then try to summon his great god. The problem is he
can't summon the great god because the god refuses to listen, then you are
attacked by fire elementals. Then, if you let him try again, he will fail
again, and again, and again. If during the time he is summoning his god and
you become rude to him, he will then attack you with waves and waves of
VROCKs. Plus, trying to fight him is impossible, unless you find his 
weakness,
he is unstoppable. The creature mentioned something about a power source 
that
he draws his power from and unless destroyed, he is invincible to ANY 
attack.
When you do arrive for the first time and talk to the druid, refuse his 
offer,
then he will attack you. The trick here is during combat, have one to three 
of
your characters go to the next room to the east and you will see a mirror in
that room or hallway. That mirror is his weakness. So, please, destroy the
mirror. It will take three hits to destroy the mirror. You will take some
damage when you hit the mirror, but after three hits, it is destroyed. Once
you destroy the mirror, you can now kill the druid normally. When all the
creatures are dead, search the druid for an enchanted staff. This staff has
the power to slow creatures down.

7.) Once you have killed the druid, go east into his room and look for money
and an enchanted belt. Have one of your weaker human type characters wear 
this
belt, It increases your strength so you can do more damage.

8.) In the northeastern area, there is a teleporter in one of the rooms. 
Stand
on the teleporter and it will take you to an area that has another 
teleporter.
When you go there, go a little north and stand on the teleporter again. Now
there are 2 teleporters to use. Since it is hard to tell where a teleporter
will take you, I'll just be specific. The main point to using the 
teleporters
here is to find an enchanted sword here. You will know you have found it if
you see a sword with a ridged edge on the ground, and it is the only area 
with
one teleporter next to it when you do get there. You will have to experiment 
a
little to get to this sword, but it will be worth it, trust me. You can try 
to
search around somemore to get to the one area with a very large teleporter 
and
some monsters there. That area has some scrolls, but not very useful unless
you don't have those spells.

9.) Okay, this is the solution on how to get the POISON DAGGER. This is a
very tricky thing to do because if not done right, you could miss out. I am
not real sure about this myself, but I did happen to get the POISON DAGGER
myself. So if this needs to be cleared up, please tell me and I'll see what
I can do about fixing that. Okay, you first have to make sure you have
returned the DOOM BLOSSOM to the alchemist on the RED SANDS area, that's 
part
of the trick. Now, you then have to head to this castle and kill the druid
here and solve it if you wish. Now, when you kill the druid, search the
druid's body for a dagger and a bowl of somekind. That bowl has the DOOM
BLOSSOM extract from the alchenist. Take them both from his inventory and 
then
head to the south-west part of the castle until you come upon an area with
some books. You will have to read each book to find out which one it is, but
one of these books explains how to create the POISON DAGGER. Keep reading 
each
book carefully until you find it. After you read the proper book, either use
the dagger you got from the druid on the bowl, or use the bowl on the dagger
and it will show a message about you making a special dagger of somekind. I
think you also get some experience for doing so as well. When you do make 
the
dagger, it will be a +2 dagger with an additional ability to do poison 
damage
to any opponent. I hope you get lucky enough to get this weapon. Have fun.

10.) Now, since you have found all that is really important, you can finish
looting his castle. Over to the west of the druids room, there are some 
books
you can read about. You can take them with you if you want, but I have not
found a perpose in doing that. If after you found all the books, but when 
you
leave, one of the books vanished, don't worry about it. That book for some
reason, must stay here, I don't know why, but it must. Well, unless you 
wanted
something more out of all this, there is really nothing left to do but leave
and head back to the WYRM MINES area. When you do, talk to the creatures in
that one area just next to the chambers. When you do, they will thank you 
for
killing off the druid. If you have been to TEAQUETZL VILLAGE before you came
here, you can ask if they will join you, but will refuse the offer, but they
will let you back into the lair anytime you want. Also, if you have talked 
to
the ELVEN CARAVAN about these monsters, talk to the creatures here and say
something about stop stealing from the caravans and they will say they will.



SALT FLATS
==========
Here are some things to do here, assuming you came from TEAQUETZL DESERT...

1.) Talk to the man that is somewhere in the area that is collecting salt. 
He
will be a little rude, but don't be hostile, try to be friendly. Talk to him
so that you can get him to sell you some salt. if you are short on money, 
talk
him down. He will gladly except 1800 for the bag of salt. Now that you have
the salt, return to the RED SANDS and you can buy the creature from that man
for the salt. But like I said earlier, the creature will run away as soon as
you try to leave the area of the RED SANDS.

2.) Over in the northwestern area, there is a lizard type creature that is
following a whirlwind. Talk to the lizard, but don't be hostile. Get as much
info from him as possible. The main perpose is to get his totem. When you 
then
finish talking to him, return to TEAQUETZL DESERT and talk to the female
lizard and mention to her about the lizard here. Try not to mention about 
the
fact that he is not a chief yet, just mention to her that his totem is the
whirlwind.

3.) Just north of the lizard a little ways is a man who is following the 
trail
of a symbol which looks like a sideways number 2. Talk to him to find out 
what
he is doing. Don't be hostile, just be friendly and get as much info as
possible from him. Do ask if you can try to do what he is doing. When you 
do,
just do like he is doing and follow the trail of the number 2. Keep going 
back
and forth on the trail of this 2. You will know that you are doing it right 
if
you get messages about what is happening to you. After about 4-6 passes, you
will gain experience from this. When you do get the experience, talk to the
man again and he will now sell you some psionic bracelets. You may have to
come back later to finish buying these but will be worth the trouble.

4.) If you happen to have a shovel or pick axe, first go to your map and 
look
at it carefully. The idea is to look for the eye of the painted dragon. Now,
head to the eye of the painted dragon and dig there. Remember that man you 
met
at the STRANGE OASIS that said something about a treasure at the eye of a
dragon? Well, this is where it is at. Just use the shovel on one of the 
spots
on the eye of the dragon and you will get a treasure chest.

5.) The exits here are north which takes you to the PAINTED DESERT, south
which takes you to the LAVA AREA, east wil take you to TEAQUETZL DESERT, 
west
which takes you to CEDRITLE VILLAGE. Or if you have it, you can use Llod's
Rod.



CAPTURED SLAVES
===============
Some things to do here when you get here. Assuming that you came from 
STRANGE
OASIS...

1.) This is a good area to find monster. Each time you come here, new 
monsters
come here. It's just used for experience, but also for when you find the 
stuff
the alchemist is looking for. Sand howlers and fire eels hang out here a lot
so do come here very often to find the items that the alchemist is wanting.

2.) Over to the northwest, there is a slave pens area. When you go there, 
one
of the guards there will stop you and ask you what you are doing here. If 
you
have the note found at TEAQUETZL VILLAGE from the dead body, mention 
something
about you need to give the note to a high guard or something. He will let 
you
in. When you get in, go west and look for a guard that looks like he's 
wearing
armor, orange like color. When you get close, you will over hear an 
arguement
about a deal. When you get a chance to talk, mention something about a note
and he will gather his men up for some reason. When he does, you can either
attack him, or use a spell to kill all the guards in one shot when they 
gather
together. Now, you can loot the area and talk to the slaves that are in the
jail like area. When you do, they will all go home. Check the high guard 
that
was wearing orange for some great stuff and check the chest in that area.

3.) I'm not sure how to get this to work yet, but, if you do see guards over
to the southwest of this area, then go to them. Mention that you will help
them or surrender or something and they will take you to the PAINTED DESERT.
When you get there, a strange hermit will stop you and the troops and he 
will
ask you to help him kill the guards. Agree to do so. When you do, just kill
the guards, not the water elementals or him, just the guards. After you kill
them, he will have another task for you, do except it. More of this will be
explained later.

4.) The exits here are north which takes you to the ELVEN CARAVAN, south 
which
takes you to the STRANGE OASIS, and southwest which takes you to the DESERT
AREA.



ELVEN CARAVAN
=============
Some things to do here when you get here...

1.) When you get here, the guards will stop you and ask what you are doing
here. Don't be hostile, be friendly about it. They will mention something
about bandits attacking the caravan and will tell you where you can go. He
will also mention to talk to the caravan leader to the north.

2.) Lets go ahead and talk to the caravan leader first. She will be in the
center of town, in the biggest wagon of all. When you talk to her, she will
mention something about the bandits too and will ask if you will get rid of
them. Go ahead and say yes to it. Then she will tell you where to go and 
tells
you about some of the people here. When you have killed the wyvern bandits,
come back here and get your reward. Tehn, talk to her somemore and she will
give you another task for you. this time, she wants you to stop the 
creatures
in the MONSTERS CAVE area. Agree to do so, then when you have done that, 
come
back here for anotehr reward.

3.) Unfortunetly, you will need lots of money when you get here. Some of the
stuff here is very expensive. So, make sure you have lots of gold when you 
get
here.

4.) Southwest of the caravan leader, is an artifact shop. It will have some
great stuff to buy here. It will be very expensive to get, but well worth it
when you do get it. One of things to get for sure is the large YELLOW GEM 
from
him. That GEM is used to put on the obilisk near the entrance to this 
village.
So, once you do get the GEM, put it on the obilisk so now you can use the 
rod
to come here.

5.) North of the atrifact shop is the seer. Go talk to her if you want, but
she doesn't really have much to say but about her brother, where she came
from, and why she came here.

6.) Northeast of the seer is a weapons shop. He has some good stuff here so
if you are low on gold, come to this shop and get what you need from him
first.

7.) Over to the northeast corner of the village (EAST OF THE WEAPONS SHOP) 
is
a resting spot. There is a person there as well. Talk to him. He will have
some info for you. When you do finish the conversation, rest if needed, then
come back later and someone else will be there. Talk to who comes there. 
Then,
come back later again and someone else will be there. Talk to who ever comes
there. There will be more people coming here so come back here often. All 
this
will be important to know when you talk to them. If you talk to 2 people who
are sisters, help them out and give them some money when you meet them. Also
talk to them and get as much info as possible about some area of the game.

8.) East of the caravan leader is a wine shop. (BEFORE YOU GO THERE, IF YOU
HAVE A THRI-KREEN IN YOUR PARTY, MAKE THE THRI-KREEN YOUR LEADER. IF YOU DO
NOT HAVE A THRI-KREEN, THEN IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU DIDN'T COME HERE AT 
ALL.)
Make your thri-kreen your leader if you have one and talk to her. Tell her 
you
want a sample of some wine. When you get a message about a strange 
after-taste
in the wine, accuse her of poisoning the wine. Then mention that you should
let the caravan leader decide this. Go to the caravan leader. Now, say what
you need, but when it comes time to tell your story about what happened, 
just
tell the truth. The leader will decide that you are telling the truth and 
will
banish the wine dealer from the caravan. She will also give you 500 gold for
your troubles. If you must know, the reason for the thri-kreen is because 
she
would have poisoned you if you used a human as a leader to drink the wine.
Then, when you get poisoned, you are taken as slaves to some guards.

9.) There is only one exit here, south. Or you can use Llod's Rod if you 
have
it.



CEDRITLE VILLAGE
================
Some things to do when you get here...

1.) When you first arrive, the village is attacked by wyverns and bandits.
Do help the village out by attacking the wyverns and the bandits. Make sure
you don't mistake the villagers for the bandits. Only attack the bandits and
the wyverns.

2.) When you do manage to kill the bandits and wyverns, the villagers will
question you and ask why you are here. Don't be hostile, be as friendly as
possible. After your talk, they will mention to talk to the leader about 
this.
So, just follow the villager to the leader.

3.) When you get to the leaders hut, she will be a little fussy at you, but
don't be hostile, try to be friendly. Don't say you are banits, just say you
are here as travelers or something. She will wonder about you, but will also
say that her village is starving. If you got the grain from the SLAVE PENS,
sell the grain to her. Plus, if you are very nice to her, she will give you
the large BLUE GEM for the obilisk here. Now, she will mention that if you
kill the bandits in the mountains, she will except you as a friend later. Go
ahead and say yes to help her kill the wyvern bandits. Obviously, when you 
do
kill the bandits, you come back here and she will give you some stuff and
reward. When you do come back, and if you have been to TEAQUETZL VILLAGE
before you came here, mention something about the Drajian army out to attakc
the villages. Mention that you need her help to fight the amry, she will 
agree
to do so.

4.) In the next building to the west, there is a man who is a part of this
village. Go talk to him. Talk to him about his life as a fighter. He will 
ask
if you would like to hunt with him. Say yes and he will mention something
about some monsters in the southwest. Go ahead and go there. Attack the
monsters and after the monsters are dead, he will thank you for having a 
good
time. You will also get experience out of this.

5.) Once you have excepted to kill the wyvern bandits, somewhere in the
southwestern part of the village is an old druid. Talk to him, he will be
fussy about you disturbing him, but say you are out to kill the wyvern
bandits. Don't be hostile. Keep talking to him, even if it annoys him, just
keep talking to him until he agree's to take you to where the entrance to 
the
WYVERN CASTLE is. Follow him there to a mountain side. When you get there, 
you
will see a group of rocks there. Don't try to use the group of rocks, you 
are
looking for a rock just above you in that corner. Here is a hint of where 
you
are suppose to USE the rock to open it and get inside the mountain...

It is very hard to see this rock, but this hint should help you out. Now, 
use
the LOOK icon on that rock and the game will ask you if you want to move 
that
rock. Say yes and you will find that it is a cave of sorts. It's best to 
have
your thief character find this rock and have a giant character open it.

6.) Just west of the cave entrance, there is a tree of sometype. Go and 
stand
on the left side of the tree and get as close as possible. I hope you
remembered to get a horn in the SEWERS. Use the horn here. (TO USE IT
PROPERLY, GO TO YOUR INVENTORY, RIGHT-CLICK ON THE HORN, THEN LEFT-CLICK ON
THE HEAD ICON.) It will mention something about a creature coming. Just wait
there and a monster will come to you. Now, kill the monster. When you do, 
the
monster will drop a rose of sometype. It's the DOOM BLOSSOM that the 
alchemist
at the RED SANDS was looking for. You don't have to give it to him now, just
when you have a chance, return it to him.

7.) Over to the southern area, there is a pit of somesort. This pit will 
take
you to the underground temple where the shadows live.

8.) There is an obilisk at the southeastern part of this village. Put the
large BLUE GEM you got from the leader in it and you will have this obilisk
ready for when you want to travel back here.

9.) There is only 2 exits out, Ones in the eastern area, the other is in the
northwest where the cave entrance to the SPIDER CAVES are. Or if you have
Llod's Rod, you can exit that way.



UNDERGROUND TEMPLE
==================
Okay, I finally got the info I needed for TYNAN's and TRISTRAM's hearts. 
This
is the solution on how to place their hearts on the altar. Just so you know,
you do not need to solve this part in order to beat the game, this is just a
side quest that you can solve for more experience, magic items, and gold. I
would like to thank 2 people who have helped me solve this riddle of the
hearts...

First off, make sure you have gotten the shadow's (TRISTRAM and TYNAN) into
the hearts. (TO DO THIS, STAND NEXT TO THE SHADOWS AND GO TO YOUR INVENTORY
AND RIGHT-CLICK ON THE PROPER HEART, THEN LEFT-CLICK ON THE HEAD ICON TO PUT
THE SHADOWS INTO THE PROPER HEARTS. THIS IS ALSO MENTIONED IN THE "STRANDED
CARAVAN" AND THE "TEAQUETZL VILLAGE" SECTIONS OF THIS SOLUTION.) Now, you 
have
to head for Cedritle Village. That is the main entrance to the Underground
Temple. When you reach Cedritle Village, head to the south part of the 
village
and you will find a pit of some type. Stand close to it and it will prompt 
you
if you want to enter the pit, say yes. Now, once you are in that part of the
temple, head north until you come to a section that looks something like
this...

Noticed the labeled ALTAR I have, that is the ALTAR you have to put the 
hearts
on to. Put TRISTRAM's heart on the ALTAR first, then TYNAN's, and you will
get a prompt about the hearts melting into the ALTAR. When this happens, 
TYNAN
will speak to you one final time and give you thanks. He will also mention
that he has taken care of A'POSS. Plus, all the blocked areas of the temple
are now open for you to loot and plunder to your hearts content. There is a
lot of gold, items, and enchanted stuff in here. In one of the chests you 
will
find 2 enchanted rings, one is magical. You will also find an enchanted mace
+2 somewhere in a chest as well. Of course you will still need to deal with
the monsters that are in here, so becareful when you are looting the area.
Plus, when you solve this, you will get 6000 experience for doing so. One
thing is for sure, if you do solve this one, you will get a LOT of money out
of this. One more thing, you can take another way into this place by way of
the circle of power which is located in TEAQUETZL VILLAGE in the well. Just
enter the well and use Tynan's heart when you stand on the circled area. It
basically has candles around this circle. This is a teleporter which links 
to
his chambers in the Underground Temple. I have labeled his chambers for your
information incase you wanted to know.



SPIDER CAVES
============
Here are some things to do here...

1.) (WHILE YOU ARE HERE, MAKE SURE YOU LOOT ANY SKELETONS YOU SEE ON THE 
WAY.)
When you first get here, don't go north, go west. You will run into a home
of an outcast there. Go into his home and talk to him. Don't worry if he is
scared at first, just be friendly to him. Keep talking and he will mention
somthing about a feud between the dark spiders and his people. He will ask 
for
your help. Mention that if you help him, have him help you get inside the
WYVERN CASTLE. He will agree to do so, and you can help him too. He will 
give
you a talisman and some rope of somekind. Have your leader wear the talisman
and leave his home, then go north from his home. You can also rest in his 
home
if you need to.

2.) You will run into a cliff. Have your thief as leader and have the thief
wear the talisman. When you get to the top, there will be a spider there. He
will ask why you are here. Just say that you just talked to the outcast and 
he
will let you pass. He will mention that you will need to talk to the queen 
and
the prince. After your talk, keep going north.

3.) On your way, you will run into a room with a symbol on the ground, 
shaped
like a star. DON'T step on it, you will be sorry. The point to this area is
to step around the mark on the floor, and stand in front of the BRICK wall.
Get right in front of it and use the ATTACK icon on that part of the wall. 
You
will break it, but in the process, summon some monsters. Just kill them, 
then
enter the room you just opened. When you are in, you will see 4 talismans on
the ground, a note of some type, and a chest that has a necklace of some 
type.
get ALL the objects here. Now exit and head north from here.

4.) When you go north, head into the queens room. She is in the room sitting
next to a stone hedge with gems on them. Go talk to her and she will tell 
you
that the fungus grove is killing her people and she needs your help to stop
the curse of some type. Go ahead and agree to help her. She will also 
mention
that there are some spiders at the fungus grove and to help get them back.
After your talk, head east.

5.) Right when you are about to head out, a spider will confront you. It's 
the
prince. He will mention that she is sending you on a suicide mission. He 
will
also mention that he will help you confront the queen when you return from
your mission. Agree to do so.

6.) After your talk, go to your inventory and have all your characters wear
the talismans you found in the blocked off room. The reason for this is
because the fungus grove is dangerous to anyone who dares enter the area. 
When
you wear this, all your characters will be protected from the curse of the
fungus. At any rate, head east after your talk to the prince. When you get
close to the fungus grove, just wait for a sec. Now, scan the area of the
fungus grove and look for an area that has some type of hole on the ground.
You will know you found the area if you see a spot guarded by spiders. That 
is
where you must go. Now, SAVE here, this next part is tricky. Head to the 
area
where you saw the spiders guarding a part of the area. The trick is NOT to
attack the spiders. Remember, the queen said they are under the influence of
the curse of the fungus grove. What you must accomplish here is when you are
attacked, don't fight back, but have the character that has the gold 
necklace
you found, put the necklace in the hole. When you do this, the hole will 
close
up and the curse will be gone for ever. Now, skip some turns until one of 
the
spiders comes out of his state of the curse. He will talk to you and ask 
what
is going on. Just be honest to him and try to explain about the fungus grove
to him. Don't say anything hostile, he may take it as an act of war, just 
tell
him what was wrong. He will thank you and will ask if you could take him 
back
to the spiders area. Agree to do so. You will also get some experience 
points
for doing so. Now, return to the spiders area and help them get home. 
(MENTAL
NOTE, SOMETIMES I HAD TROUBLE GETTING ALL THE SPIDERS TO FOLLOW ME, SO DON'T
WORRY IF YOU CAN'T SEEM TO GET ALL THE SPIDERS HOME.)

7.) When you return, the prince will confront you again and say he will help
you confront the queen. SAVE here, another tricky spot is coming.

8.) (BEFORE YOU TRY THIS, YOU MUST KNOW THAT THIS IS WHERE I HAVE RAN INTO
A GLITCH. HERE IS WHERE ONE OF THE BUGS IS, SO MAKE SURE YOU SEE EXACTLY 
WHAT
I SAY YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO SEE.) Now, the point to this is to talk to the 
queen
and she will be happy that you have ended the curse, then she will get your
reward. Now, the trick here is that the queen will talk to her guards, but 
the
prince will get close and say to join him and help destroy the queen. When
this happens, a battle will start. Now, you must be very careful here. The
trick is to keep the prince and some of the spiders alive, and some must be
killed. The problem is, you won't know who to kill since they all look 
alike.
I do know this, when the prince says what he is suppose to say, the queen 
and
the other 2 spiders she talks to are in fact your enemies, and there are 2
spiders to the south of you that must be killed as well. Make sure you do 
NOT
kill the prince or any of the other friendly spiders. The prince is the most
important spider to keep alive. But keeping the other friendly spiders alive
will help you as well. If you mess up, just reload the save game. Like I 
said,
this part is very tricky to do, so make sure you are very careful about who
you kill and who you don't kill. Sometimes it helps to just skip a turn and
watch to see what spider does what and that will help you find the enemy
spiders.

9.) After your fight, and you were careful of the spiders you killed, the
prince will thank you for helping him and asks you for a favor. Go ahead and
help him make peace with the other tribe that is here. Head east of where 
you
are and you will see a path leading down. Lead the prince that way and climb
down the cliff. Head into the home area of the outcast. Just talk to one of
them and he will get upset for letting the prince in here. The trick is to
mention a treaty and peace, and mention that the prince wants to help in 
trade
between the prince and the tribe here. You will get more experience for 
doing
this. When you are done here, return to the outcasts home. (THE HOME OF THIS
TRIBE IS IN THE CENTRAL AREA, THAT SHOULD HELP YOU LOCATE THEM.)

10.) When you return to the outcasts home, talk to him and he will give you
the silk armor. It is very powerful. Now, he will help you get in the WYVERN
CASTLE and open the door for you. By doing this, you will avoid a fight at 
the
entrance to the castle. The entrance is in the northeastern area of the 
SPIDER
CAVES.

11.) Now, return to see the prince. He will be in the queens chamber. Talk 
to
him and he will thank you. Just to the right of the prince is a room is a
blocked off room. Get close to the room and use the attack icon on the brown
door like walls. In there is some stuff you would like to have. Check the
chests for stuff to. Now, head to the northeastern area and look for the
castle entrance. When you get there, wait for the outcast to get in and 
unlock
the doors for you. Now you can get in unnoticed. Just so you know, when you
are done with the WYVERN CASTLE, you return here at the southern part of the
caves to exit to CEDRITLE VILLAGE. (IF YOU WANT, GO ATTACK THE GUARDS IN THE
NEXT ROOM, NEXT TO THE ENTRANCE TO THE WYVERN CASTLE, THAT WILL GET MORE
GUARDS AT THE GATE, THEN WHEN YOU KILL THEM, THE GATE WILL OPEN.)

12.) The exits here are south which takes you back to CEDRITLE VILLAGE and
northeast which is the entrance to the WYVERN CASTLE. You can't use Llod's 
Rod
while you are here, sorry.



WYVERN CASTLE
=============
Some things to do here when you arrive...

1.) When you get here, you shouldn't have any guards to deal with for now.
Just so you know, it might be best if you went around looting the place
before you try to go to the next castle. Over to the northwestern area is 
some
good stuff.

2.) North of the entrance, in the next room, is a guard, but his attitude is
not the same at that of the other people here. Talk to him, the trick here 
is
to get him to agree to help you get inside the WYVERN TOWER. (JUST SO YOU
KNOW, THIS IS HOW I DID IT, BUT FOR SOME REASON, IT IS EASIER TO JUST AVOID
HIM AND GO ATTACK THE GUARDS AT THE ENTRANCE ANYWAY. BY DOING SO, YOU GET 
LESS
GUARDS TO ATTACK YOU. WHAT I AM ASSUMING IS IF YOU ARE ATTACKED WHEN YOU GO
WITH THAT GUARD, AND YOU MANAGED TO SAVE A WYVERN, GET IT TRAPPED INSIDE A 
PEN
AND WHEN EVERYONE IS OUT OF THE PEN, LOCK THE DOOR AND YOU WOULD HAVE SAVED 
A
WYVERN FOR THE GUARD.) He will take you to a pen that has no one inside it.
When you get in, he locks the door and calls the guards to attack you. Now,
attack anyone who attacks you, then loot the dead guards. Once you have 
killed
all the guards here, go north in the pens area and you will be at the WYVERN
TOWER entrance.

3.) When you have returned from the WYVERN TOWER, come back here and look 
for
an area where it is protected by a RED glowing seal on the ground. It is
housed by zombies. The trick here is to look for a room that has a purple 
vase
or pitcher of some type. It should be in a room like area with a zombie in 
it.
I have not found a way to solve the things the zombies ask for, but ignoring
them is okay to. The reason you want to look for a PURPLE vase is to check 
it
for a pair of enchanted boots. If you wish to get a powerful weapon fron 
this
area, you will need those boots. The rooms with the RED glowing seal is in 
the
central part of the WYVERN CASTLE.

4.) When you have the enchanted SERPENT BOOTS, go to the southeastern area 
and
look for an area that is guarded by VROCKs. Attack them, then when you do 
kill
them, look along the walls with your LOOK icon. Have the thief be the 
leader,
then search along the walls. Here is a hint of where you need to search when
you reach this area...

When you have located the secret wall, have the person who is wearing the
SERPENT BOOTS the leader and use the LOOK ICON on that part of the wall and 
it
will open the wall. Now, loot all you want. There are gems, gold, and an
enchanted sword here. It is a great sword. Basically, the person who uses 
the
sword will do extra FLAME damage each time the person with the sword does
damage to a creature. The sword is in a chest.

5.) When you have beaten the WYVERN TOWER, come back here with the wind 
potion
and use the potion here. (TO USE THE POTION PROPERLY, GO TO YOUR INVENTORY 
AND
RIGHT-CLICK ON THE POTION, THEN LEFT-CLICK ON THE HEAD ICON.) By doing this,
you will free the zombies in the area where there is a glowing seal on both
exits to the area where the zombies are. If you talk to one of the zombies
there, you will get experience for helping him become free of the curse.

6.) The only exits here are northeast which takes you to the WYVERN TOWER, 
and
south which takes you back to the SPIDER CAVES. If you head east of the 
castle
and stand near the edge, you can use Llod's rod to leave here.



WYVERN TOWER
============
Some things to do here when you get here...

1.) When you first get here, head east as far as possible, then take the 
north
hall way up to the earth elemental. Kill the earth elemental blocking the 
cell
door. Open the door and talk to the guy inside. He will ask you if you are
here to kill the druid. He will help you out by first telling you where the
wyvern hook is. On the ground is a key. Get the key and hang on to it for
later use. When you do return here with the hook, give it to him and he will
give you the wind potion to use on the druid. Make sure you get the wind
potion form him when you return with the hook.

2.) If you have the grey key you found on the ground in the cell where the 
man
was in the northwestern area, head to the southwestern area and look for a
locked door of sometype. All you need to do is use the key on that door. 
Once
you are in, go to the west room and look for the captain of the guards. He
will talk to you and will ask if you want to join him. Refuse the offer and
kill him. He may also call on some guards to help, so be ready for that. 
When
you have killed the guards and the captain, search the captain to find a
hook. This is what the guy in the cell wanted from you. Also, look behind 
his
bed and you should see, though it's hard to see, a green key. Get the key 
and
head back west. Remember seeing a locked door with gold and gems and stuff?
Well, get close to the door and use the key on the door to open it and get 
the
loot for later use. Now, return to the guy at the cell so you can get the 
wind
potion from him.

3.) When you have the wind potion, head to the northeastern area. Be ready 
to
fight any guards you meet along the way. When you get to the area where 
there
is a woman and some zombies, get ready to fight her. just kill the zombies 
and
the female druid. Now, even though the message says she disappeared, don't
worry about that. When she does disappear, use the wind potion. (TO PROPERLY
USE IT, GO TO YOUR INVENTORY AND RIGHT-CLICK THE WIND POTION, THEN 
LEFT-CLICK
THE HEAD ICON.) When you do, you will get a message about what you did. When
you do use the potion, you will get 2 items. An enchanted neckace and
TRISTRAM's heart. When you have killed the female druid, return to the cell 
in
the northwestern area and talk to the man again. He will tell you about the
location of a sword somewhere in here. When you are done with that, return 
to
the entrance to here, then go back to WYVER CASTLE and goto the area with 
the
zombies living in that area with the seals blocking the door and use the 
wind
potion to allow them to become free to roam the castle. CEDRITLE VILLAGE and
talk to the leader and she will give you some stuff. Also remember to return
to the ELVEN CARAVAN to get your reward from them as well.

4.) Obviously, the only exit is in the central area.



LAVA AREA
=========
Just so you know, this is another area in which you do not have to complete,
this is just another weird quest part of the game. If you want to solve it, 
go
ahead. After all, you do get some stuff out if it anyway. Some things to do
while you are here...

1.) When you first get here, head to the northeastern corner and talk to the
man there. He will say that some earth elementals are after him. He wants 
you
to help him kill the elementals and the man over at the south part of the 
map.
Well, the first part ain't as easy as it sounds. What you must do is find 
ALL
the elementals here and kill them. Then go talk to the man at the south.

2.) First off, keep in mind that you will need some enchanted weapons on 
order
to kill the fire elementals. They are immune to normal weapons, but not
special weapons, and magic. If you don't have any enchanted weapons, then 
use
magic. If you successfully killed all the elementals, go to the southern 
area
and talk to the man there. Now, he says he is not the one who is doing this,
it's the other guy you talked to at the northeast who is doing this. Well, 
now
you have to decide who is right.

3.) When you talk to the man at the south, go back to the northeast and talk
to the man there if you want. But, he is actually calling the elementals. 
So,
kill the man at the northeast. Yes, kill him. Now, search his body for a 
neck-
lace and some other stuff. When you are done, go back to the south and talk 
to
the man there again. (HERE IS ANOTHER BUG I HAVE RAN INTO. WHEN YOU GET 
CLOSE,
THE MAN YOU TALKED TO AT THE NORTHEAST WILL SAY SOMETHING AND GIVE YOU
EXPERIENCE POINTS, THEN EACH TIME YOU TAKE A STEP CLOSER, HE REPEATS HIMSELF
AGAIN, AND AGAIN. TO FIX THIS, WHEN YOU GET THIS MESSAGE, WALK AWAY FROM THE
MAN HERE UNTIL THE MESSAGE STOPS. THEN STAND AT A DISTANCE WHERE YOU CAN 
TALK
TO THE MAN, ONLY THIS TIME, YOU WON'T GET A MESSAGE EXCEPT FROM THE MAN WHO 
IS
HERE.) When you have done all this, head to the western area and exit there.

4.) The exits here are north which takes you back to the SALT FLATS, or west
which takes you to the LAVA LAND.



LAVA LAND
=========
Some things to do when you get here...

1.) When you get here, you will be near some thri-kreen. Be very careful 
here,
the thri-kreen are very tough and very hard to kill sometimes. There are
several thri-kreens here in this part of the map. Might be best if you 
killed
them all.

2.) The main purpose here is to find 7-8 large rocks on the ground. This 
part
will not be easy for the fact that the rocks are scattered throughout this
area. The reason for the rocks is for what lies over to the western area.
There are 7-8 gysers here and you need to put a rock in each one of the 
little
gysers here. (HERE IS YET ANOTHER BUG IN THE GAME. WHEN YOU TRY TO PUT A 
ROCK
IN ONE OF THE LITTLE GYSERS, DON'T POINT THE ROCK AT THE HOLE OF THE GYSER,
POINT TO THE WHOLE GYSER ITSELF.) Now, only ONE rock fits in each gyser. Use
the rocks on each gyser until you get a prompt asking you if you want to 
shove
the rock in place. Say YES. (IF FOR SOME REASON YOU LOST THE ROCK AND YOU 
DID
NOT GET A PROMPT FROM THE GAME, THEN YOU ACCIDENTLY DROPPED THE ROCK. THE 
ROCK
WILL BE LOCATED ALMOST BEHIND THE GYSER, IT WILL BE HARD TO SEE AND HARD TO
GET THE ROCK BACK IF THIS HAPPENED.) When you have properly placed all the
rocks in each gyser, the large center gyser will erupt and will shoot 
someting
out of it. When this happens, head south from the gysers and you will find a
meteor of some type. It will be a little ways down there, but it will be 
there
somewhere. You can also use that metal finder you got from the person in the
RED SANDS and use it to find the meteor.

3.) If you are really low on gold and you happen to have a pick axe, look 
for
dark stones in this area. They are scattered all over the place of this 
area.
What you do is use the pick axe on the black stones (ONLY THE BLACK STONES.)
then use the look icon on them and you get a free gem out of it. Now you can
sell the gem or gems to get gold. Caution, one of these black stones is a 
trap
when you use it. It's located in the southwestern section.

4.) The only exit here is to the east of this area, or if you have it, you 
can
use Llod's Rod.



PAINTED DESERT
==============
Some things to do in this area...

1.) If you came here by way of CAPTURED SLAVES by meeting the guards there,
or from the COPPER MINES then you would have come from the northern area. If
you came here by way of SALT FLATS, then you would have come from the 
southern
area. If you did come by way of the guards from the CAPTURED SLAVES, when 
you
first arrive here, a man will interupt you and ask you to help him kill the
guards that took you here. Go ahead and say yes, and help him kill the 
guards.
Don't kill the water elementals he brings with him, they are on your side.
Just kill the guards and not him or the elementals. After your fight, you 
can
talk to him. Get as much info as possible from him. He might also ask you to
kill the guards at the pond in this area. Say yes and do it for him. When 
you
do, he will tell you about the MONSTER CAVE area and that it holds a secret
item there.

2.) When you agree to help him get the guards at the pond area, head over
there and kill them. This will be a hard fight because they are scattered 
all
over the pond and you will have to do some walking while you are attacking
them. They will be tough to kill but you will get some good stuff from the
main guard at the southern part of the pond.

3.) When you are done killing all the guards at the pond, go back and talk 
to
the man at the north. He will tell you about a treasure in the MONSTERS CAVE
area.

4.) The only exits here are north which takes you to the COPPER MINES, and
south which takes you to the SALT FLATS. Or, if you have Llod's Rod, you can
use that too.



COPPER MINES
============
Although there is not a lot to do here, here is a list anyway...

1.) When you get to this area, the first thing you will notice is some 
guards
and some slaves in this area. When you get close, one of the guards will ask
you about what you are doing here. you may do what ever you want. If you
choose to help him dig, then you will be here a long time. You see, there is
no copper here in this area at all. Someone sold him some fake info about 
this
area. The best thing for you to do is to kill all the guards, but not the
slaves. Once you have done so, the slaves will be free and go home.

2.) If you happen to be in the northern area, and you wait a while around 
that
area, you will come across some people who are going to join the Drajian 
army.
They will ask if you would like to join them. Say yes for the fact that 
there
is a way for you to get experience out of this. Join them, then they will 
say
that there is some slaves over to the east of your area. When you get there,
don't kill the slaves, but kill the guards instead. When you do, the slaves
will thank you and go free and you will get experience out of this too.

3.) The exits here are north which takes you to GEDRON VILLAGE, east which
takes you to the DESERT AREA, or south which takes you to the PAINTED 
DESERT.
Or you can use Llod's Rod if you have it.



GEDRON VILLAGE
==============
Some things to do while you are here...

1.) One of the things you will notice is that most of the people here are
acting very strangely. When you talk to them, try not to sound hostile, be
friendly. They will say something about getting a new leader. It doesn't
really matter who you talk to, they will all say the same thing. Don't 
bother
talking to the shops and dealers here, they have nothing but junk to sell to
you.

2.) Over to the north, there is a mayor there. Talk to him if you want, but
that is not the best solution. The best way to do this is first, have your
thief as leader and stand over to the northwest part, inside the house, 
stand
just below the wall tapestry. If you stand close enough, you will find a
hidden door. The door will open and you can walk through the tapestry. Now,
talk to the guy in that room and ask him to lift the curse of this village. 
He
will ask you for a favor if you want the curse to be lifted. Say you will
agree to this and he will tell you about the statue and where to find the
pieces of the statue he wants.

3.) Over to the east side of the mayor's house, you will find a cleric here.
Talk to her and she will say that the village is under a curse of some type.
She will also ask about the pith too. Give the pith potion to her and she 
will
thank you for it. She will also request that you help her find her sister. 
Do
help out if you can, it will be important later. If and when you do find her
sister, her sister will give you a book to bring back here. When you do have
that book, return here and give it to the female cleric. You will get more
experience out of it.

4.) If you have a large green GEM, (NOT FROM THE CROP FIELDS, FROM THE FLOOR
SAFE IN THE MAYOR'S SECRET ROOM.) there is an obilisk just north of the
cleric's house. Put the GEM in there and now you would have another place to
go if you use Llod's Rod.

5.) Once you do have both the statue pieces, return here, next to the well
and he will be waiting for you to give him the statue pieces. When you give 
it
to him, he will put the pieces together and will then ask you to attack him.
(ONE WARNING, IF YOU ATTACK HIM, HE WILL THEN PUT HIS SOUL INSIDE THE STATUE
AND WILL BE STRONGER THAN LAST TIME.) You may do so, IF you have what it 
takes
to beat the statue. After you kill him, he enters the statue, then he says
something about seeing you soon and be ready for a fight. This will be a 
very
tough fight, even with the most powerful weapon, you would still do no more
than like 5-15 points of damage. He also has a lot of hit points to. After
your fight, check his dead body to see if he has anything useful.

6.) Once you have lifted the curse of the village, and after you have talked
to the guys in the STUPID TRADERS area, go back and get the slaves and bring
them back here. The village will be very happy and if you talk to the mayor
again, he will give you something. Plus, ask him to join you for the final
battle against the Drajian army. He will agree and will send a soldier to 
the
village.

7.) After you have helped the village, go back and talk to the cleric. She
will mention something about a secret safe under the carpet. Now, go to the
mayors secret room that you found and there will be a rug just next to the
entrance, in the room. Have your thief as leader and search the carpet. Now
you see a safe, but the safe is locked. If you have a very high level thief,
use the thief to pick the lock. It may take a lot of tries, but keep trying
until you can open it. Once opened, there will be a lot of good stuff here.
One being El's Drinker. El's Drinker is an enchanted sword that not only 
does
damage to the opponents, but you will also heal that many points you took 
from
the opponent you hit. This is a great sword to have and keep.

8.) Go and stand next to the well and use the well, there is another secret
way inside the underground temple. When you get here, go up and follow it to
the chamber. There is a shadow here. (I AM STILL UNCERTAIN AS TO HOW TO 
SOLVE
THIS YET, BUT THERE IS A WAY TO SOLVE IT, I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW.) Now, talk 
to
the shadow here, he will say something about being imprisoned here. He will
then ask you to free him. Don't talk to him too much or you will NOT be able
to free him if you are given a chance to. (I THINK IF YOU DO FREE HIM, YOU 
ARE
TO USE A'PASS's HEART ON HIM, AND HELP HIM OUT SOMEHOW, BUT I AM NOT SURE.)

9.) The only exits here are north which takes you to the STUPID TRADERS, 
south
which takes you to the copper mines, and east which takes you to the MONSTER
AREA. If you have Llod's Rod, you could teleport to somewhere to.



DESERT AREA
===========
There is really nothing to do here but go to your overhead map and look for
someone in the center of this area. Go and talk to him and he will attack 
you
for some reason. Just kill him and then search his body for a note of some
type and hang on to it. That's all. The only exits here are north which 
takes
you to the MONSTER AREA, east which takes you to the CAPTURED SLAVES, and 
west
takes you to the COPPER MINES.



MONSTER AREA
============
Some things to do in this area...

1.) First off, it doesn't matter which way you get here the FIRST time you
come here. When you do get here for the first time, you will run into a 
person
who is running from some monsters here. When you talk to the person, get as
much info as possible about this area. The person will say that the monsters
here are very powerful and should leave. (JUST SO YOU KNOW, THIS PERSON IS
RIGHT. ONE TIME I HAD CHARACTERS AT MAX LEVELS AND LOST ALL OF THEM IN 3
COMBAT ROUNDS. SOME OF THE CREATURES HERE WILL BE MORE POWERFUL HERE THAN IN
ANY OTHER AREA OF THIS GAME. PLEASE BE ADVISED ABOUT THIS.) You may do as 
you
wish, but the creatures here give you very good experience points if you 
beat
them. Once you are done talking, keep heading in that general direction and
your first fight will be with some of those grey squirpion type of 
creatures.
Hope you are ready for a challenge here.

2.) Your main perpose here is to the southwest of this area. There are some
reptilian hunters in that area that have something important. Before you do
talk to them, there is something you need o know. You see, these creatures
have one of the pieces of the statue for GEDRON VILLAGE. There are only 2 
ways
that I know you can get the statue piece. One is to obviuosly fight and kill
them, and then search one of the bodies for the statue piece. But if you 
can't
handle a fight, then talk to them and they will say something about needing
slaves. Don't be hostile, be friendly. Talk to them until you can convince
them to sell you the statue piece. They will want a high price for it, but 
at
least you can avoid combat. They will mention something about finding slaves
before you go, but that is up to you to find them.

3.) Over to the north somewhere is a set of BONE pillars which will let you
climb down and get close to a type of BEE HIVE like thing. Be careful 
though,
notice that in the same area, there is a part of the sand which has a form 
of
a circle in it. When you get close to this circle, a squirpion type creature
pops out to attack you. If you beat this creature, it should leave a stinger
behind when it dies. If you return the stinger to the alchemist in the RED
SANDS area, the alchemist will give you EL's SHIELD, a very powerful shield.

4.) Another thing you can do here is find an area in the center of this area
somewhere that has what looks like BEE HIVES. These hives are actually homes
for some poisonous bird, but they did not seem too harmful when I did this.
Anyway, go find this hive and search the hives for stuff. You can get gems 
or
some items if you search the hives. Search the hives many times, sometimes
contain more than one item.

5.) The only exits here are north which takes you to SACRIFICE AREA, south
takes you to DESERT AREA, and west will take you to GEDRON VILLAGE, or you
can use Llod's Rod.



STUPID TRADERS
==============
There is in fact only ONE REAL thing to do here, but there is something you
can do to get some extra stuff...

1.) When you get here, head to the northwest until you get to a soldier. One
of the soldiers will stop you and ask you what you are doing here. The trick
is to get him to take you to his leader. When he takes you to him, talk to
the leader about what is going on. He will tell you that he is marketing
slaves. The main purpose is to get him to sell you the slaves from GEDRON
VILLAGE. Of course you can try to take on the gang, but you will be fighting
quite a bit of of them, so be ready when you do. If you do decide to pay for
the slaves, you will need quite a bit of money, at least something like 
12,000
or so. Please be aware of this. Also, if you do buy the slaves, they will
leave and you can get your slaves now. The slaves will be a little north of
where you are, in a fence like area. Just talk to one and say to wait here.
Only bring them to GEDRON VILLAGE when you have killed the guy who put the
curse on the village. Also make sure you talk to the mayor after you do kill
the guy who put the curse on the village, that's when you know to get the
slaves here and bring them home.

2.) The exit here is to the southeastern area. In that area, you can either 
go
east which takes you to the SACRIFICE AREA, or south which takes you to 
GEDRON
VILLAGE. Or Llod's rod.



SACRIFICE AREA
==============
Some things to do when you get here...

1.) Somewhere in the northern area, look for a grapling hook. Don't worry
about the creatures, they will say something like get out of here, but just
ignore it. The graplng hook will be in a tent in the northern area and it is
needed to get across to the other side of the mountain.

2.) Once you have the grapling hook, head to the far south. When you get as
far south as you can, head east. You will run into a mountain side in which
you can't get across. Notice there is a bridge on the other side of the
mountain. Get your grapling hook out and use it on the bridge on the other
side to bring the bridge to you so you can cross over. Now you have a way to
the other side.

3.) Now, cross the bridge and start to head to the northern area. Keep going
until you see a woman chained up to a stone wall. To get to where she is at,
force your characters to walk IN the mouth of the skeletal snake. This will
then let you walk around the watery (It's really sand blowing around) area 
so
you can rescue her. Talk to her and she will ask that you free her. Do so.
Be ready though, someone was or is planning for all this. When you free the
woman, you will be attacked by a druid first. Attack and kill the druid and
when he is dead, search his body for a statue piece. After that, you will 
then
fight some strange tenticles. Kill them and you are then home free. Make 
sure
the woman survives, or you will have to reload a saved game before you came
here.

4.) When you save her, and help her back to the surface, talk to her. She 
will
mention about some scrolls you can get, and she will give you something to
give you to give to her sister, to let her know she is alright. Her sister 
is
the female cleric in GEDRON VILLAGE. During this time, you should also be 
able
to ask her to help you in the final battle of this game.

5.) Now that you have both the statue pieces, (I hope) you can now go back 
to
GEDRON VILLAGE and give the statue pieces to the person who put a curse in 
the
village and get ready to defend yourself. If you do have both statue pieces
and you have rescued the woman, then you should head back to GEDRON VILLAGE
to talk to the people there.

6.) The only exits here are south, which takes you to MONSTER AREA, and west
which takes you to STUPID TRADERS. Or you can use Llod's Rod to go where you
want to go.



SECRET TEMPLE
=============
This temple only appears when you have gone to all the villages and have
gotten all the people you can get to help you in the final battle. It will 
be
playable when you have gotten all the help you can, then head back to
TEAQUETZL VILLAGE and talk to the village leader. He will mention that they
are ready to fight in the battle. When you get this message, exit the 
village
and the seer will appear and talk to you about the temple rising. After the
talk, it will go to a cinematic sequence of the temple appearing. When it
fades out, you will then be at the temple. The only problem to this place is
that there is only ONE rest spot, so use it wisely, or you will die quickly.
Do be careful not to leave this place if you plan to accomplish finishing
this area. If you leave this place, you will then go to battle right away.
The main reason for finishing this level is to get the GENIE that is here. 
He
can grant you stuff like duplicate weapons, heal your party, and more. 
Please
make sure you are careful not to leave if you want the GENIE to help you. 
This
is the ONLY step by step I will give you since it is hard to solve this 
area.
Here is what to do...

A.) When you get here, a SURLON will talk to you. Do not be hostile, be
friendly to him and do listen. WARNING:When you get the option of helping 
him
get the GENIE back, say YES you will help him. If you do not say you will 
help
him THE FIRST CHANCE YOU ARE GIVEN IT, then you might want to load your game
again. (Just so you know, you can still get the genie even if you go into
battle with the creature here, but by doing it this way, you can make this 
an
easier way to get the genie.)

B.) After your talk, and if you DIDN'T go to battle, head north into the
temple. When you enter, there are some creatures you can talk to, but there
are some you CAN'T talk to for some reason. The main thing I want you to be
concerned about is the roaming shadows that will move around from time to
time to check the area out. Those are guards roaming the area, checking the
place out for intruders. You won't have much to worry about because they 
only
roam that area of the temple. The problem is getting past them to find the
genie somewhere in this area. You can get past them, it's just a matter of
timing and watching them move. (If you do get caught, I heard there is a way
to get past them without a fight or without going back to the intrance to 
the
temple, but I have not confirmed this.)

C.) Your first step here is to get to the northern area. Look at the 
overhead
map and look for a person or creature sorta to himself, over in the 
northwest
area. That is where you need to go to first to try to get the genie. Talk to
the shadow there and he will ask why you want the genie for. All I will say 
is
this, you want him to ask YOU for a favor, do except this favor for him. 
When
you except his favor, head back south near the intrance, but then start to
head west when you get close.

D.) Over on the southwest part of the temple, you will see an area that has 
a
long hallway going north. Follow it all the way up. You will encounter some
traps along the way up the hallway. Make sure you have some heal spells in
case you take a lot of damage. You will also run into monsters here. Seems
like they are protecting something, but what? Only going north along that
hallway will answer that question. Keep going and you will notice a person 
on
the ground with a glowing belt of sometype. Get close to it and it will turn
into a teleporter. (CAUTION:Here is another little bug in the game. The
teleporter does work, but you have to stand in an odd location for it to 
work.
For some reason, the program is not right. To be able to teleport, stand 
just
below the teleporter, then go straight UP and keep going up. I know there is
a wall there, just try it, it will work properly.) Now, stand on the newly
created teleporter and you will go to a new location of that area.

E.) When you arrive at the new area from the teleporter, get ready to fight
some monsters in that area. You will also run into some traps in this area 
to.
The whole point to this area is to get the dead body in this area. So, kill
all the creatures here, then head a little north and you will find the body 
in
a room somewhere there. (Yes, you can put the dead body in your inventory so
you can take it with you.) As soon as you get the body in your inventory, go
north a little more and you will find another teleporter there. Stand on it
and you will be teleported back to where you started. Now, go back and find
that shadow that was alone, near the coffins.

F.) When you return to see the shadow again, let him know you have his body
and he will tell you to go to the coffins and put the body you got in one of
the coffins. When you do, you get the genie bottle. (Now, here is where you
have to decide, give the genie back to the PSURLON at the intrance to this
temple, or keep it for your own personal use. Do what you want, but the best
solution is to keep it and USE the bottle to summon the genie.) Summon the
genie bye USEing the bottle. When you do a genie pops out and starts to talk
to you. Don't wish for anything yet, ask him about what you can wish for and
other stuff. When you are done talking, here is the best 3 things to wish 
for
once you are ready...

1.) COPY WEAPON (Dark Flame)
2.) COPY WEAPON (El's Drinker)
3.) HEAL ALL (Save this FOR the battle you will have in TEAQUEZL DESERT)

Or, if you want to make it a little more easier to fight, the best wishes 
are

1.) COPY WEAPON (El's Drinker)
2.) HELP US IN THE FIRST BATTLE (He also gives you some weapons)
3.) HEAL ALL (Save this FOR the battle you will have in TEAQUEZL DESERT)

If you chose the second way, you would have been transported to the battle
site and would have had only 2 battles to do, not three. If you chose the
first option, then you would have to travel back to the intrance of the 
temple
and fight the PSURLON there, then leave the temple, and you will be in the
desert, ready to fight the army. I hope you did save a wish to heal all 
after
the first 2 battles, because the last battle is gonna be a MAJOR one. If you
need help on this battle, refer to the TEAQUETZL DESERT section of this
SOLUTION.

This pyramid does not exist in this game. This pyramid only exists in the
next game called DARKSUN:WAKE OF THE RAVAGER.

2.) WHERE IS THE VEILED ALLIANCE AT?

The VEILED ALLIANCE is not in this game. They only exist in the DARKSUN:WAKE
OF THE RAVAGER game.

3.) THE KING IN THE PINS MENTIONED THE CITY OF TYR, WHERE IS THIS CITY OF 
TYR?
==============================================================================
The city of TYR does not exist in this game. This city only exists in the 
next
game called DARKSUN:WAKE OF THE RAVAGER.

4.) THIS SOUNDS LIKE THE GAME WAS PLANNED AS MORE OF A STORY THAN A GAME?

That is mostly true. This game was ment for you to play the FIRST game, then
when you wanted to find out more about what was going on, you had to get the
next game (DARKSUN:WAKE OF THE RAVAGER) to find out more about the pyramids,
VEILED ALLIANCE, and about the king who got overthrown. In a way, this is 
like
a PART 1 game of a 2 PART series. This partly explains why there are a lot 
of
questions you will be asking yourself when you beat this game.

5.) SO IF I WANT TO FIND OUT MORE, GET THE NEXT GAME "WAKE OF THE RAVAGER"?
===========================================================================
Yes, by getting the next game, this will answer most of the questions you 
were
pondering about in the first game.

6.) HOW MANY ARMIES DO I NEED TO GET TO HELP OUT IN THE LAST BATTLE?
====================================================================
To be honest, only 2-3. Although, if you can get more, then that would be
great. The only reason for the 2-3 is because once you have reached the 
other
2 villages (GEDRON and CEDRITLE) and you have gotten permission from those 2
villages that you can have some men for the final battle, then the game goes
into the FINAL BATTLE sequence of the game. The extra men you find are from
side quests you got or recieved from the game.

7.) HOW LONG DO YOU THINK THIS GAME TAKES TO BEAT?
==================================================
Well, if you follow my hints well, and you are careful about what you do and
say, and you only accomplished the important things, I would have to say 
only
1-2 days. (Just so you know, I mean ACTUAL PLAY TIME, not just play it and
expect to beat it in 1-2 days.) It's also possible you can even beat it in
LESS than one day.

8.) IN YOUR OPINION, HOW WOULD YOU RATE THIS GAME?
==================================================
Okay, this only MY opinion about this game, so no flame letters about how I
would make a poor game reviewer. My rating system is from 1-5, 5 being the
best. I'll also explain why I gave it that rating. Here is my opinion...

GRAPHICS   = 4
SOUND      = 3
CONTROL    = 4
UNIQUENESS = 4
OVERALL    = 4
DIFFICULTY = ADJUSTABLE

GRAPHICS = Graphics are great, very well detailed and I like how some of the
stuff was animated to give it a more realistic effect. I would have loved to
see this game in 640x480 mode, but this game is rather old and who knows if
the company will do an update for this game. I also like how well they gave
some of the characters great detailed looks like the thri-kreen. I also 
liked
the artwork they did when you create characters or when you talk to someone.
Plus, the animation, although rather choppy at times, had some great color. 
I
like the colors they used for the magic effects as well as some of the cool
looking monsters you had to fight. Another thing that caught my eye was the
cool looking intro, the cinematic with the secret temple, and the ending was
rather interesting to.

SOUND = Okay, this is where I will get rather testy here. The sound was 
rather
old and sluggish. The sounds were so repetitive and got on my nerves a lot.
I mean hearing all those grunts and moans each time I killed a monster was 
so
annoying. Hearing the same sound over and over again sometimes got to me. 
The
only thing that saved this game from getting a 1 or 2 was the music. The 
music
was great and most of the time fit the situation you were in. The only 
sounds
I enjoyed was the talking LLODS ROD and some of the magic sounds were cool,
that was it, the rest of the sounds just seem to get to you after a while.

CONTROL = This is another thing I like about this game. The entire game is
played with the mouse. It was simple to use and didn't take long getting 
used
to. (Okay, there are a few keys you can press but not needed to do in this
game) No need for joysticks in this game, just use the mouse and everything
will be simple after a while.

UNIQUENESS = A very nice translation of a great RPG. The play field is 
simple
to know and the characters are easy to control. I like the fact that most of
the interface is mouse controlled. That makes the whole game very simple to
me. I also like the fact that most of the time, the game is smart when going
around corners or going through doors. I mean most games AI is stupid some-
times like when you want them to travel a long ways and they take the LONG 
way
around a building. I also like the way you can travel using LLOD'S ROD and 
the
way you use magic. This game uses lots of aspects of a great RPG game. If 
you
wanted to know what a great RPG game is like, or would like to see how an 
RPG
game can be simple, look no further.

OVERALL = When you sum it all up, this game would be great, not only for the
PC system, but would also be great for other game systems like SNES or PSX.
This RPG is a must have for anyone who is an avid RPG collector. This game
must be a part of your collection. If you do buy it, make sure you get it 
for
about $5 or less. Anything higher than that is not worth it. It's best to 
get
the CD version since the CD version is the latest version. If you get the
DISK version, there is a good chance you will need the patch for this game.

DIFFICULTY = This game can be rather hard to play a few times, but the games
difficulty can be adjusted in the options menu. The gameplay itself is not
that hard to know since it is mostly mouse controlled. The only difficulty 
you
might have is when you are surrounded by a lot of enemies like at the end of
the game. That will be the only time you will get very frustrated with the
game.

9.) IS THERE ANY WAY OF GETTING MORE CERAMIC PIECES (MONEY)?
============================================================
The only way I know of getting unlimited amounts of money is at the start of
the game when your in the arena. Just keep battling the monsters and you 
will
have unlimited chances at getting more money for yourselves. Just so you 
know,
you can still find a way to escape the pins even if you do kill most of the
gangs and soldiers. Like I said, just keep battling in the arena until you
feel as though you have enough money for yourself. Okay, so you only get
between 5-10 amounts of money from each mounds, better than NOT getting much
from your travels or from the people you help. Also remember, you can keep
doing this until you want or are ready to leave the pins. Hopefully by that
time you would have gained enough experience to be at a good level anyways.

I
    point my mouse over the black spots on their hands, it seems as though I
    can do something or possibly put something in them. It could be a bug,
