"The third SCUMM game, surely they are getting crap now?"

The answer, NO. Yet again, we have ANOTHER 9 on our hands. Why though? Not because they are getting boring, this is a great game. It's just not the BEST THING EVER. Although its still pretty good. Its based on the Last Crusade film, and it must of been hard to make a Maniac Mansion style adventure game, instead of a 2D platformer, with you blasting everything. Unfortunately, this is what the Infernal Machine and the Emperors Tomb turned into, just 3D instead.

Graphics - 9/10

Pretty good for the times, it was 256 colours, and looked nice. Better then the previous SCUMM games. The animations are nice, and the cut-scenes are good too. There is also extra animation, like water dripping from Indy, and Marcus alot, which looks good. Really, the graphics are quite good.

Sound - 7/10

The classic Indy theme is here! There is some music, but not much, and the sound effects are ok. I hate it when you open the knights tomb/pick wrong grail, that music is so terrible, and annyoing. It's just suddenly there, its annoying. Its loud too, louder then the rest of the music. Like in adverts, they are louder then TV shows.

Gameplay - 8/10

Yet again though, its the same interface as Maniac Mansion and Zak Mckracken. Apart from its slightly different, some new commands are here, and some old taken out. But what makes the gameplay escape a 7/10? Well, the game is funny at times, fun, and theres a fighting system. Although its not the best thing in the world, its pretty cool, a change from LucasFilm adventure games. Its pretty short though. But to keep you coming back is an IQ system, where different actions give you different IQ points, making you play the game multiple times to get all of the IQ points.

Overall - 9/10

Because its so fun, great, funny, and very well done, it gets a 9. It's pretty short though, but with the IQ points, it lasts a little longer, if you can be bothered. The music is ok, the graphics are good. Overall, its a great game. Another golden SCUMM game. Don't ignore it.
