"Get ready for Goosebumps...."
Goosebump is more popular as a horror story book written by R.L Stine, It is probably one of the most popular horror book series out there with a lots of Goose bumps book avalaible.
Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland is one of the only Goosebumps game availaible. The story was based on some of popular Goosebumps stories, The game itself is quite an okay game.
Story Line 5/10
Not too good here, The stories of Goosebumps: Escape from horrorland was based on Goosebumps book with the same name, however, in this game it derived stories from other Goosebumps book as well. However, the stories doesn't mix well and the story plot could be quite weak.
The story starts when Lizzy takes you to Horrorland and ask you to help to rescue her brothers and family
Completely Fabulous and Marvellous, that is the only expression I could find to describe the graphics in this game. The graphics in the game looks like real, and you can get spooked out sometimes. The games graphics really set the right mood to play this game, you will guaranteed to get Goosebumps playing this game alone at night. The game really features live actor to play the character, especially the more famous ones being Jeff Golblum ( Jurassic Park 1 and 2) playing the Dracula in this game. The graphics is one of the most realistic I have ever played so far.
The game itself is an Action kind like of game, you can explore the area and solving riddles in order to progress during the game, and in the games, you play in first person point of view, therefore this make the game more realistic. This game would get higher in Gameplay if the game was not too short.
Replay Value 3/10
There is nothing much to do after you beat the game, probably this game will be forgotten somewhere on the shelf once you finished the game, there just no motivation for player to play the game all over again
To buy or To rent
Buying wouldn't be a practical in my opinion, as you will more likely get too bored and not playing the game anymore once you finish it for the first time, in this case renting will be a better option if you want to try out the game.
