"A fun Old Rpg"

First I would like to say this game is extremley old and for those of you who like games with good graphics stop reading this review now. This game is really fun if you get into all the rpg stuff I enjoyed it. Their is another game out like this called nethack which is very fun also. So if you like this game give Nethack a try and if you like Nethack give this game a try.

Story-5/10

I am not to sure about the story all i know is you start up in this area and you want to go adventuring and gain money and fame. It makes up a little randomly generated story about how you got to be an adventurer at the beginning but that is about it. But in someways that is neat because you get to go out and do whatever you want with no story forcing you to do certain things.

Graphics0/10 or 10/10

If you like to imagine how it should look and see your own pictures in your head than you will love the graphics on this game. They are just letters of different colors dots and symbols so you don't have graphics telling you how things should look you get to make that up for yourself. If you like good graphics well then you can just pretend you are fighting evil alphabet letters. You will hate this game if you need graphics because as I have said above it has none.

Gameplay-8/10

I thought that some things about the game play in this game were annoying compared to nethack. This game is neat in that their are so many things you can do it is very in depth. You can be many different races and (I think) 15 classes form classes you find in lots of these games like fighters and so on to farmers. There are so many things you can do in this game their isn't much the creator didn't think of. Which is one of the things that makes this game fun. You fight monster and get experience which lets you grow levels and gold and items. When you grow levels you can improve your skills in things such as food preservation and stealth and you can improve weapon skills as well. Another neat thing about this game is that you can create your own character and choose race and class and even determine his attributes by answering questions about what you would do in certain situations.

Sound-0/10 or 10/10

Sound is the same as the graphics their is none so you get to imagine it all for yourself. if you like sound in your games then this game is not going to please you in that aspect but you could just listen to some music in the background if you must have sound.

Replayability-10/10
This is probably the best part of this game is that you can play it again and again and again and never have the same stuff happen twice. It changes so much from time to time it never gets old and you can make a new character that does new special things and has different attributes so you always get to play a new character to.

Value-10/10

This is the best part this game is free you can download it form the official ADOM site www.adom.de all the game maker wants in return is a postcard telling him what you think of the game and you don't even have to send him that if you don't want ( it would be nice though.) Another thing that impressed me about this game is that it is made by one man and he makes absolutly nothing off it which I think is pretty cool.
