Desire

"Not bad, but not exceptional"
This game was well made. The characters blink and their lips move, (although sometimes not with what they are saying). The game is fully voiced, except sometimes the person that you are playing doesn't speak. This is not a big deal though, because they talk in the other scenario when the two players run into each other. This game is also populated with numerous animated sequences, which add a lot to the quality of the game play.
The ending is extremely well done, but I found the plot lagging in the middle. It employs the look and think interface which sometimes gets tiring because it makes advancing the plot difficult.
The game is played from the scenario of two main characters and it uses the multi-sight system which can also be found in Eve Burst Error.
Our characters are called Al and Makoto. They are supposed to be together in the beginning of the game but that is quickly ruined as they begin to look elsewhere on the island. Since this is a hentai game they get around quite a lot.
Al is our standard generic hero. He is a carefree good guy, and a journalist who is doing research on the island and his scenario is far superior to Makoto's. As one other reviewer said, most of the porn lies in Makoto's scenario, which is degrading and pointless to the point of being ridiculous. Makoto is not particularly likeable. She gets attached very quickly to her ''abusers'' and in the heat of passion she spits out top secret government secrets like Italian swear words. She does this in between being called various degrading, disrespectful adjectives. Why is she like this? The game doesn't really explain. Apparently she is just really kinky.
The only really interesting point of the multi-sight system in this game is the fact that it does add insight to more of what is going on in the story after you play the second scenario, and that by itself makes it more interesting.
Thank god I played Makoto first so I didn't have that one waiting for me.
The music in this game is average at best, although there are some nice tracks. There are no fully voiced songs, and sometimes the music during the day became annoying enough that it was necessary for me to get rid of the BGM music. The CD, as far as I know, does not double as an MP3 and there is no photo gallery.
