Question from lolo12343

Changing Text?

I heard there was a way to change the text that appears beside the MINECRAFT logo when opening the game. (Text ex.: Organic!) so, how do you make it whatever you want?

Chimichanga94 answered:

In the minecraft.jar file, extracting it will produce a set of .class and .png and .txt files. There should be one within one of the folders. The name of the .txt document is "splash" (without quotes). Just be sure to leave the number of splashes the same, or else it might get glitchy.
