I spawned in a different spawn point than usual?

I had an iron tool set, food, 2 furnaces, a house with a bed, a box, a chest and a bunch of different things then I left to check out a nearby cavern entrance then a creeper hit me from behind and I spawned in a completely different spawn point with my house nowhere to be seen, it was a quick walk to the right before.

First off when exploring caverns put it on peaceful now did you have map if so do you remember where the general area is of your house if so good make another map if not do what i do and get a whole bunch of stuff look strait down jump and place the stuff you collected and place it underneath you as you jump take fog off get verry high and look around and try to find it if that does not help you find it walk around and look for familiar peices of land.
