Can your house in Whinterhold get robbed?

I want to know before I have whats her face follow me arround.

I have never known of a house being robbed in either oblivion or skyrim, and i doubt your housecarl will be much use against them. most npcs are dumb as.

I never knew there was a house in winterhold if there is tell me how to get it please because i'm rather interested in a winterhold house! (did you mean windhelm by any chance?) Also, I'm pretty sure you can't get robbed
