Six months have passed since the Battle of Yavin. The Death Star
has been destroyed, but the fight for freedom is far from over.

As the war against the Empire rages across the vastness of space,
Luke Skywalker forms the legendary Rogue Squadron from the Rebel
Alliance's most skilled X-Wing pilots.

Their mission: to defend the struggling Rebel Alliance against a
still powerful and battle hardened Imperial foe, in a last ditch
effort to control the galaxy...

Version 1.72a+ (October, 1999)
Created the HTML version. The content remains the same, only
that a cheat code in this FAQ was incorrect, but now it's
corrected.

I thought that ver1.7 was the final, but here we are again. Just
corrected minor mistakes and modified some things. Other thing:
Rogue Squadron is a N64 Player's Choice! Good news for Rogue!
Also, WhyNot2Go@aol.com sent me a question. I've responded him
by mail, but I'm publishing the question, 'cause I think many
people asks the same thing.

Version 1.7 (August, 1999)
Well, I made a little mistake in the name of the Naboo Fighter,
it's real name is Naboo N-1 fighter, not X-1. Also splitted the
section "Secrets, Codes & F.A.Q.s" into two sections: "Secrets &
Codes" and "Common Questions". Finished the Chapter three in the
"Missions" section and almost changed totally the "Cast of
Characters" section. This is a huge update!

Version 1.0 (July, 1999)
I'm working in this FAQ since February, but I had problems with
my computer and I had to re-type all again. This is one of the
greatest games in the history of Star Wars and Nintendo 64, and
if you haven't played it, your missing a great game. I'm sorry,
but this FAQ only has the first two chapters of the game, but
check soon this web page to check a newer version of this FAQ.
Also added the greatest secret of Rogue Squadron: the Naboo
Fighter from Episode I!

3.1) YOUR ALLIES - REBEL SPACECRAFT
===================================

These are the spacecraft you use in the game:

* X-Wing Space Superiority Starfighter
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Proton Torpedoes
  SPECIAL: Open/Close S-foils
  This is one of the best space ships of the Rebel Alliance. It's
  armed with four blaster cannons and six proton torpedoes. The
  X-Wing is fast, and even faster with the S-foils (the wings)
  closed, and also it has good maneuverability. Also, the X-Wing
  has the addition of shields and an R2 unit to repair damage.

* Y-Wing Bomber
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Space Bombs
  SPECIAL: Fire Ion Cannon
  The Y-Wing is the bomber for Rogue Squadron. It has two blaster
  cannons and it can carry up to 20 bombs. It's not very fast, in
  fact, it's the slowest ship of the Rebel Fleet, and it does not
  have good maneuverability. But, this ship has the strongest
  shields unit and an R2 unit to repair you when you're in the
  heat of battle.

* A-Wing Interceptor
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Concussion Missiles
  SPECIAL: None
  This interceptor is the fastest ship of the Alliance, but also
  the weakest. Its armament is two blaster cannons and up to 8
  concussion missiles. This ship is extremely fast and has very
  good maneuverability. But what it gains on speed it lose in
  defense, 'cause it has a fair amount of shields.

* Airspeeder
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Tow Cable
  SPECIAL: None
  Also called snowspeeder, this is a good ship, but with some
  limitations. It's armed with two blaster cannons and a tow
  cable. The speeder's speed and maneuverability have some
  similarity with the X-wing. This spacecraft doesn't have
  shields, but it has a stronger hull.

* V-Wing Airspeeder
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Cluster Missiles
  SPECIAL: Scram Jets
  The V-Wing speeder is a modification of the snowspeeder. It has
  two blaster cannons that can be fired at normal rate or rapid
  fire position, up to six cluster missiles and the scram jets,
  that are speed boosters. This ship is very fast, and with the
  scram jets it's even faster, and it's maneuverability it's
  great, but after a while using the rapid fire position of the
  blasters or the scram jets, they overheat and you'll have to
  wait 'til they cool to use them again. This ship doesn't have
  shields. This speeder comes from Dark Empire, six years after
  Return of the Jedi.

* T-16 Skyhopper <secret>
  SECONDARY WEAPON: None
  SPECIAL: None
  The Skyhopper is a good ship for flying only. It's armed only
  with one blaster cannon, which is pathetic, but you don't use
  it 'cause you use it to race against your friends, and no
  blasters are allowed. The speed and maneuverability of the
  Skyhopper is good. This ship doesn't have shields, so watch out
  for crashing, it could be fatal.

* YT-1300 Modified Freighter "Millennium Falcon" <secret>
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Seeker Torpedoes
  SPECIAL: None
  This is a YT-1300 modified freighter. Its armament is two quad-
  blaster cannon turrets and up to 20 seeker torpedoes. The speed
  of this speed is excellent, but the maneuverability isn't. This
  thing has good shields - good thing, 'cause it's very big and
  you crash with everything.

* Twin Ion Engine Interceptor <secret>
  SECONDARY WEAPON: None
  SPECIAL: None
  The Interceptor of the Imperial series of Twin Ion Engine
  fighters. It's armament is very sad, only four blaster cannons,
  but they have advanced accuracy systems. The speed and
  maneuverability are very good, but it doesn't have shields and
  the hull is very weak, so you can take up to six impacts and
  you're a goner.

* Naboo Royal N-1 Starfighter <secret>
  SECONDARY WEAPON: Seeker Torpedoes
  SPECIAL: None
  What the heck? This is a ship from 32 years ago, from Episode
  I, and why is it here? Well, I don't know but it's an EXCELLENT
  ship in everything. It's armed with two blaster cannons and ten
  seeker torpedoes. Also, it's very fast and has very good
  maneuverability. And it does have shields and an R2 unit.


3.2) YOUR ENEMIES - IMPERIAL SPACECRAFT
=======================================

The following is a list of every enemy that you'll find:

* Armored Hover Train
  This train has some turrets on some train cars and they're
  very lethal. It's armed with laser and missile turrets.

* AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport)
  This huge transport can destroy you in seconds, so quickly
  go down and fire that tow cable. It's armed with four blaster
  cannons.

* AT-PT (All Terrain Personal Transport)
  This AT is very small, but yet very lethal; try destroying him
  from behind. It's armed with two blaster cannons.

* AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport)
  The AT-ST is a little bigger than the PT, but slower and
  stronger. It's also called "Chicken walker". This thing is
  armed with two blaster cannons.

* Imperial Probe Droid
  The probe droids are very annoying, they have a single blaster
  cannon, that can be deadly if you're very low in shielding.

* Imperial Landing Craft
  These craft aren't a big danger, 'cause instead of attacking,
  they deliver more enemies to the area - mostly ATs. When Moff
  Seerdon uses one of these, it's armed with two blaster cannons
  and several seeker missiles.

* Tank Droid
  These tanks are small, but deadly. Try destroying them with
  cluster missiles or concussion missiles. Their armament
  consists in a single blaster cannon.

* TIE Fighter
  The most common enemy ship of the Empire. It's very weak, so
  with a direct hit it can be destroyed. It's armed with two
  blaster cannons.

* TIE Bomber
  These fire bombs at installations. They're slower than the
  fighter, but a little bit stronger. The TIE bomber is armed
  with two blaster cannons and several space bombs.

* TIE Interceptor
  This ship is very dangerous. It's very weak like the fighter,
  but more fast and agile. It's armed with four rapid-fire
  blaster cannons.

* TIE/D
  The TIE/D is controlled by a droid and it's a modification of
  the interceptor that's harder to kill. The armament consists in
  four rapid-fire blaster cannons.

* Waveskimmer
  These are big things that are in water areas. They don't attack
  if you don't go in front of them. It's armament consists in two
  blaster cannons.

* Shield Generator
  When destroying one of these you can go to an area protected by
  an energy shield.

* Radar Dish
  These are Imperial communications devices that some times alert
  the Imperials of Rebel presence.

* Turbolaser
  The most common turret. It can fire laser bolts capable of
  taking you down, so watch out. It's armed with two blaster
  cannons.

* Missile Turret
  This thing is very powerful. It fires seeker missiles that
  pursue your craft. It's armed with two seeker missile
  launchers.


3.3) WEAPONS
============

* Shields
  ADVANCED VERSION: Advanced Shields
  The shields are the protection and energy of each spacecraft in
  the game. If the ship has shielding technology, it has better
  protection.

* Blaster Cannons
  ADVANCED VERSION: Advanced Blasters
  The blasters - also called lasers - are the primary weapon of
  every ship. The blaster cannons fire energy bolts that can be
  either red or green.

* Ion Cannon
  ADVANCED VERSION: None
  The ion cannon is used in the Y-Wing. It can fire blue
  electricity bolts that disrupt the energy system of the ship
  that's being fired, leaving it paralyzed, but not destroyed. It
  can destroy little ships.

* Proton Torpedoes
  ADVANCED VERSION: Advanced Proton Torpedoes
                    Seeker Torpedoes
  The proton torpedoes are used by the X-Wing. They are powerful
  warheads that destroy almost every enemy. The advanced version
  of these warheads is faster and even more powerful, and the
  seeker version has a special device that allows the warhead to
  track the enemies and follow them until it hits them.

* Concussion Missiles
  ADVANCED VERSION: Advanced Seeker Missiles
  These warheads are significantly weaker than the torpedoes, but
  they're even faster and more agile, useful against small
  targets such as TIEs. The seeker version has the same ability
  of the seeker torpedoes to seek enemies.

* Cluster Missiles
  ADVANCED VERSION: Seeker Cluster Missiles
  The cluster missiles are warheads that spread into five smaller
  warheads, allowing better range and more damage to the target.
  The seeking version is very good; when fired, the five spread
  and each one seek its own target.

* Space Bombs
  ADVANCED VERSION: Advanced Bombs
  The bombs are useful to attack buildings or bombard battle
  stations or other big targets. Their firepower is massive, and
  if you don't fire them from some distance of the floor, they
  can damage your ship or even destroy it. The advanced version
  is even more powerful.

* Tow Cable
  ADVANCED VERSION: None
  The tow cable is used in the speeder. This cable has a harpoon
  that attaches into something and then the cable can be used to
  tie something and knock down that thing. The tow cable is used
  usually with the AT-AT.

4) MISSIONS
===========

4.1) CHAPTER 1
==============

STAGE 1: AMBUSH AT MOS EISLEY

Location:
   Tatooine

   * Protect the homesteads

   * Eliminate the Imperial forces

This mission will help you practice your controls with the X-Wing
fighter. First, destroy every probe droid you see quickly, 'cause
if they destroy the homesteads, your mission fails. After you
quickly destroy the probe droids, some TIE bombers will appear
trying to destroy Mos Eisley, so destroy them before they destroy
most of Mos Eisley. To win a gold medal, finish the mission very
fast and find 2 stormtroopers (in miniature) and 2 banthas (in
miniature also) and destroy them, they're counted as enemies
destroyed.


STAGE 2: RENDEZVOUS ON BARKESH

   Barkesh

Available Craft:

   Y-Wing

Objectives:
   * Escort supply convoy to safety

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        5:45
   Enemies Destroyed        30
   Accuracy                40%
   Friendly Saves           19
   Bonus Collected           0

This mission basicaly consists in protecting the supply convoy
until it reaches his destination. Follow closely the convoy and
never, ever leave it alone if you're an amateur. Destroy every
AT-ST or turbolaser that is a threat to the convoy. To get gold
in this mission, don't let the TIEs destroy even one supply car
and destroy a bunch of stormtroopers near a bunker in a corner
of the level, and don't forget to finish the mission very fast.


STAGE 3: THE SEARCH FOR THE "NONNAH"

   Y-Wing

Objectives:
   * Locate crashed Rebel ship
   * Protect the ship from invading Imperial Forces

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time       10:00
   Enemies Destroyed        38
   Accuracy                20%
   Friendly Saves            1
   Bonus Collected           0

In this mission, you'll have to find a crashed rebel ship before
the Imperials do and destroy it. To find it quickly, just follow
the path you're taking from the begginning straight; if you don't
find it, one of your wingmates will find it and the wedge of your
radar will appear indicating where the "Nonnah" is. When you're
protecting the ship, destroy with your missiles the little Tank
Droids and the AT-ST. Then, destroy every TIE bomber trying to
destroy the "Nonnah" and the evacuation shuttle on top of it.
Then destroy the AT-PTs. When the shuttle is trying to get out,
protect it from the TIEs that are trying to get it. To receive
gold medal, destroy also the probe droids that you find and try
to have a very short time.


STAGE 4: DEFECTION AT CORELLIA

Location:
   Corellia

Available Craft:
   Airspeeder

Objectives:
   * Investigate strange readings
   * Protect the Capitol Tower
   * Protect the Tech Center
   * Protect the Evacuation Shuttles

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time       10:00
   Enemies Destroyed        50
   Accuracy                20%
   Friendly Saves           95
   Bonus Collected           1

In this mission you'll protect some buildings. First, destroy
the probe droids that you see with the radar in the wedge. Then,
go to the Capitol Tower and protect it destroying the TIEs that
are bombarding it. Then, Crix Madine will call you to protect him
from the bombers. When you destroy them, Han Solo will appear and
you'll go again to the Capitol Tower; destroy quickly the 2 TIEs
and "wrap" the AT-AT very fast. Later, you'll go again to the
Tech Center and destroy the AT-STs, stormtroopers and the AT-AT
trying to get to the Tech Center. Then, the evacuation shuttles
will arrive to evacuate Crix Madine with some TIEs following them
and you'll have to protect them. Finally, when the shuttles get
out, you finish your mission. To achieve gold, destroy the little
water vehicles and the stormtroopers near the coast; also, you
need to be very fast in this mission; one more thing to get the
gold medal, you need to get a bonus (see the "Secrets, Codes and
FAQs" section to see what's a bonus) near the Tech Center between
some buildings.


STAGE 5: LIBERATION OF GERRARD V

Location:
   Gerrard V

Available Craft:
   X-Wing <default>
   A-Wing
   V-Wing

Secret Craft:
   Millennium Falcon
   TIE Interceptor
   Naboo N-1

   Y-Wing
   Airspeeder

Objectives:
   * Escort Y-Wings to their targets
   * Disable civilian yachts
   * Destroy the big gun turret

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        5:15
   Enemies Destroyed        33
   Accuracy                30%
   Friendly Saves            6
   Bonus Collected           0

In this level, you'll have to protect some Y-Wings trying to
disable some yachts. To achieve this goal, don't let the turrets
(both laser and missile ones), TIEs and ATs destroy them. First,
destroy every turret you see. Then, when they finish disabling in
that side of the city, they'll go to the other side. Destroy the
turrets also. When you see a BIG turret, fire your torpedoes (or
advanced torpedoes if you picked the bonus of last mission) and
destroy some TIEs while the Y-Wings finish. To get the gold,
every Y-Wing must be alive, and you must have a high number of
enemies destroyed; so, let's kick some TIE butt.


4.2) CHAPTER 2
==============

CHAPTER II, ROGUE SQUADRON

Kasan Moor, Imperial Ace and leader of the dreaded 128th TIE
Interceptor Squadron has now defected to the Rebel Alliance.

As a loyal soldier for the Empire, Moor witnessed both its
cruelty and hypocrisy in the destruction of her home world,
Alderaan.

Convinced to join Rogue Squadron, Moor offers her flight
expertise in addition to knowledge of hidden Imperial
strongholds...


STAGE 6: THE JADE MOON

Location:
   Jademoon

Available Craft:
   X-Wing <default>
   A-Wing

   Y-Wing

Objectives:
   * Use trench to avoid missile turrets
   * Locate and destroy the shield generator
   * Escort and protect Madine's troops

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        6:00
   Enemies Destroyed        45
   Accuracy                40%
   Friendly Saves            7
   Bonus Collected           1

First, go straight ahead and try not messing up too much with the
AT-PTs, Madine's troops can destroy them, but do mess up with the
turbolasers, destroy all of them - if you destroy the bunkers
(those rounded canisters), one enemy per bunker destroyed is
added to the "Medal" objectives - and return to the path to the
left (from start) and keep flying low; when the path splits in
two, the left path takes you to the bonus - inside the bunker
(in form of a small building) - and the right path leads to the
shield generator. When you get to the shield generator, destroy
it and go in the direction your radar is telling you. Then,
you'll have to destroy a wave of TIE interceptors and bombers and
some AT-PTs; destroy the PTs with your torpedoes and find-and-
destroy the bombers first, they do more damage to Madine's troops
and then destroy the interceptors.


STAGE 7: IMPERIAL CONSTRUCTION YARDS

Location:
   Balmorra

Available Craft:
   Airspeeder

Objectives:
   * Approach the base undetected by radars
   * Locate and destroy the AT-ST factory
   * Locate and destroy the AT-AT factory

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        6:30
   Enemies Destroyed        80
   Accuracy                45%
   Friendly Saves            0
   Bonus Collected           1

In this level, you'll have to destroy the AT factories. First,
destroy all the radars a little far from them - this is the easy
part. When they are destroyed, go right evading the AT-AT (don't
destroy it, it takes a lot of time) and wait for a group of 3 TIE
fighters to come. When you destroy them, go to the direction that
the AT-AT is heading and you'll find a path that leads to the AT-
AT factory (don't destroy the AT-AT). When you destroy the
factory, return from the same path, but go right when you return
where you saw the first AT-AT. You'll find a shuttle taking off
a platform - in one of the bunkers below the platform is hidden a
bonus -, you can find the entrance to the AT-ST factory near here
but remember to destroy the missile turret first (also, don't
destroy the AT-AT that's in the path of the factory, it's a waste
of time).

STAGE 8: ASSAULT ON KILE II

   Kile II

   Y-Wing

Objectives:
   * Locate and destroy the sensor array
   * Locate and destroy the Imperial Spaceport
   * Locate and destroy the Imperial garrisons

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        6:00
   Enemies Destroyed        65
   Accuracy                60%
   Friendly Saves            0
   Bonus Collected           0

In this mission you'll have to search-and-destroy some Imperial
key-locations in Kile II Spaceport. First, go straight ahead
until you find some turbolasers in the floor and the path splits.
If you take the right path:
    You'll go to the spaceport. Bombard every building and try to
    avoid the TIEs, do not get caught in a dogfight - you don't
    stand a chance in a Y-Wing against TIE Interceptors.
If you take the left path:
    Almost inmediately the path will split up and take the right
    path. Follow the path 'til you get to the garrisons and the
    sensor array. Destroy first the garrisons with your blasters
    and throw bombs at the stormtroopers to destroy a serious
    amount of them - they count as enemies destroyed - and then
    bombard the sensor array and try to evade the TIEs.


STAGE 9: RESCUE ON KESSEL

   Kessel

   X-Wing modified with fitted ion cannon

   Y-Wing

Objectives:

In this level you have to rescue Wedge, who has been captured by
the Imperial forces in the previous level. To accomplish that
goal, fire your ion cannon to each train car until it sparkles
with electricity. To accomplish gold medal, destroy every enemy
you see.


STAGE 10: PRISONS OF KESSEL

First, follow the shuttle and destroy some enemies and you'll
have to destroy the shield generator. Destroy as many enemies you
can in the way there, but don't get caught in a dogfight; when
you can see the gen, fire your blasters or use a couple of torps;
when you destroy it, return to the shuttle and destroy the TIEs
and the stormtroops that come out of the bunkers (don't destroy
any bunkers until all the stormtroopers come out in any moment of
the level). When the shuttle has all the prisoners, follow it to
the next prison, where you'll have to protect the shuttle and
destroy anything that moves (except the prisoners). Then, move
to the next and repeat the process. Now, when the shuttle reaches
the final prison, destroy every enemy that's near the shuttle,
cause it has taken a lot of damage and destroy the walkers that
approach. When the shuttle takes off the final prison, just be
near it to protect it from any enemy that's alive - IF there's an
enemy alive.


4.3) CHAPTER 3
==============

CHAPTER III, THE NEW THREAT

With the rescue of Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron at full
strength the Rebel Alliance turns its attention to a new Imperial
threat - Moff Kohl Seerdon.

Preparing to capture Thyferra, with its precious supply of the
healing Bacta, Seerdon is now consolidating his power for a
massive attack. His success could very well break the fledgling
Rebellion and surely doom the galaxy to Imperial rule.

Luke Skywalker and Rogue Squadron are asssigned to disrupt his
operations with swift hit and run missions against key targets
such as the Imperial mining operation near Taloraan...


STAGE 11: BATTLE ABOVE TALORAAN

Location:
   Taloraan

There isn't much to tell in this level, just destroy the gas
containers that have the Imperial symbol marked and try not to
destroy the others with the blue line. To quickly destroy the
turrets (which are very annoying), destroy some with the warheads
and try to reserve some for the final turrets, which fire seeker
missiles. The bonus is located between the buildings in the
floating city.


STAGE 12: ESCAPE FROM FEST

Location:
   Fest

Available Craft:
   Snowspeeder

Objectives:
   * Locate captured AT-PTs
   * Free the AT-PTs
   * Escort the AT-PTs to the landing zone
   * Destroy the Research Facility

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        6:30
   Enemies Destroyed        65
   Accuracy                25%
   Friendly Saves            7
   Bonus Collected           1

When you start, go left to "wrap" the AT-AT and destroy the
turbolasers very fast. Then, go left - don't go where the AT-PTs
or the other AT-AT will destroy them - and destroy the little
tank droids, the AT-AT and the stormtroopers before your
wingmates destroy the wall. When the wall is destroyed, go back
to where the turrets were and destroy quickly every tank droid
before the AT-PTs get there to avoid damage - their damage, not
yours - and destroy the bombers attempting to bombard the PTs.
When they reach the landing zone, destroy the shield generator -
located near the second AT-AT you destroyed - and destroy the
stormtroopers and the research lab. The bonus it's behind the lab
inside a bunker.


STAGE 13: BLOCKADE ON CHANDRILA

Location:
   Chandrila

Available Craft:
   X-Wing <default>
   A-Wing
   V-Wing

   Millennium Falcon

First, destroy the TIE bombers and interceptors that attempt to
destroy the train until it reaches the city - to gain gold medal,
don't let any train car be destroyed -. Then, destroy some TIE
bombers attacking the city. After that, protect some evacuation
shuttles destroying the AT-STs. When the shuttles are escaping,
destroy the remaining TIEs. The bonus is at the far end of the
city; after the buildings, you'll see an AT-ST firing to some
little towers, destroy the ST and the bonus will appear.


STAGE 14: RAID ON SULLUST

   Sullust

In this mission try to move a lot to evade all the missiles that
the turrets fire. First, destroy all the transmitters with your
bombs (the little things on the floor) and the turrets in your
way - destroy as many as you can -. When you destroy all the
transmitters, fly to the capacitor and destroy those little white
bulbs that are moving - fire at the white part or it won't be
damaged -. The bonus is hidden inside a building near a platform.
If you're an amateur, destroy the turrets first, it takes a lot
of time but it's easier.


STAGE 15: MOFF SEERDON'S REVENGE

   Thyferra

Available Craft:
   X-Wing <default>

   V-Wing

Secret Craft:
   Millennium Falcon

   Accuracy                30%
   Friendly Saves           55
   Bonus Collected           1

This level is very difficult. I highly recommend for begginers to
destroy first the TIE interceptors, then the missile turrets,
then the AT-STs, and then the remaining enemies. The other way is
going where the radar says and destroying every thing you find
in the section the radar told you - this way is a lot harder, but
it's in less time -. After destroying the last thing, Moff
Seerdon will appear in his own shuttle. He's easy using 3 or 4
seeker torpedoes or seeker cluster missiles, but if you have
traditional torpedoes or blasters only, pray, 'cause he's damn
fast and he has a stronger hull and shields; another thing: he
also has seeker missiles like the turrets. The bonus is hidden
inside a bunker.


4.4) CHAPTER 4
==============

CHAPTER IV, DARK EMPIRE

Six years after the Battle of Endor, the fight for freedom
continues. Even without the thousands of Jedi Knights who formed
the backbone of the Old Republic, the Rebel Alliance has managed
to control three quarters of the galaxy.

Darth Vader is dead but a reborn Empire, under a mysterious new
leader, strikes back at the struggling Rebel Alliance, hoping to
crush the fledgling New Republic.

Massive World Devastators, more powerful and unstoppable than the
Death Star, ravage entire planets.

Rogue Squadron, which is now commanded by Wedge Antilles,
persists in mounting daring missions throughout the galaxy...


STAGE 16: THE BATTLE OF CALAMARI

First, you'll have to destroy the first World Devastator. To do
it, destroy first a little circle on top of it - the shield
generator - and then, destroy two of it's "feet" and it will fall
causing it's destruction - this first devastator is armed with
several missile turrets -. Then, go to the city and destroy the
TIE/Ds. Then, follow your radar to the next devastator and make
the same things to destroy it. Then, go again to other part of
the city and destroy the TIEs. Later, destroy the last devastator
and go to the city and destroy the last wave of TIEs.


4.5) SECRET LEVELS

STAGE 17: BEGGAR'S CANYON

Location:
   Tatooine

Available Craft:
   T-16 Skyhopper

Objectives:
   * Win the race

Requirements for Gold:
   Competitor Beaten     Wedge

Basically, this level is a race, I can't help you here, but what
I can do to help is to tell you about a shortcut: After the 5th
turn in Wedge's path, you can fly over the walls (about 2 or 3).
The shortcut will help you very much to beat him.


STAGE 18: THE DEATH STAR TRENCH RUN

Location:
   Death Star

Available Craft:
   X-Wing

Secret Craft:
   Naboo N-1

Objectives:
   * Chase the Imperials through the trench
   * Destroy the power plant at the end of the trench

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        2:45
   Enemies Destroyed        30
   Accuracy                70%
   Friendly Saves            0
   Bonus Collected           0

This mission is just like the final scene of Star Wars: A New
Hope, when Luke destroys the Death Star. Basically, destroy
almost every enemy - TIEs, Turbolasers - until the Millennium
Falcon arrives. Then, close your S-foils and go to the end
where you'll find the exhaust port; fire your torpedo to the
exhaust port to finish the mission.


STAGE 19: THE BATTLE OF HOTH

Location:
   Hoth

Available Craft:
   Snowspeeder

Objectives:
   * Destroy probe droids
   * Defend Rogue Ten from AT-ST attack
   * Defend the generator from the Imperial attack

Requirements for Gold:
   Completion Time        3:45
   Enemies Destroyed        29
   Accuracy                60%
   Friendly Saves            0
   Bonus Collected           0

When you start, destroy all the probe droids. Then, go and save
Rogue Ten by destroying the AT-STs before they kill him. Finally,
you'll have to destroy the three AT-ATs, the four AT-STs and the
stormtroopers and you'll finish the last level of the game.

WHAT'S A BONUS?
It's a glowing thing that enhances your weapons system of all
your spacecraft. It can enhance either the primary or secondary
weapons system.

WHAT IS THE SHOWROOM?
The showroom is a secret option in the Options menu. It can be
activated with the MAESTRO or DIRECTOR code.

WHAT ARE THE PASSCODES?                                         
The passcodes are secret codes to make alterations to the game.
You can type them at the passcodes screen in the options.
                    
HOW CAN I ACTIVATE THE NABOO FIGHTER?
To activate it, first type-in HALIFAX? and select enter code.
Then, type-in !YNGWIE! and select enter code. You won't hear R2-
D2 beeping when you enter both codes, but they work. To disable
the Naboo N-1, type-in HALIFAX? and then any other word.

HOW CAN I ACTIVATE THE HARDROCK CODE?
First, enter the code. Then, go to the main screen and let the
demo play run. Then, you'll see something different in the main
screen.

I BOUGHT IT USED AND WANT TO GET RID OF ALL THESE HORRID CHEAT
CODES (NABOO STARFIGHTER IS A CHEAP WAY TO WIN)... HOW DO I DO

Well, I think just the same. The cheats only get rid of the fun,
the only cheat that is really useful is the RADAR. To erase the
Naboo Fighter, just type-in as a passcode the word HALIFAX? (like
when activating it) and select END. Then, type-in another word in
the passcode screen (type what you want, it doesn't matter if it
is a cheat or not). That will disable the Naboo Fighter. All the
other cheats (except MAESTRO and DIRECTOR) are deactivated when
you turn off your N64.
