Introduction ****************************************************************************** I am MysticWeirdo also known by my real name Warren Grieder. Panty Raider is a PC game which task you, as the unlikely hero Nelson, with saving the Earth from destruction at the hands of three over-sexed aliens. The aliens have abducted you in order to get you to take pictures of three young models on Model Isle wearing only lingerie. The aliens are quite particular and will only accept pictures of specific models in specific lingerie. They'll arm you with a pickup line call, x-ray glasses, lure bag, and a camera to assist you, as well as the clothing dissolving goop to remove the model's outer garments. ****************************************************************************** 2. Menus and Controls ****************************************************************************** ============= 3.1 Main Menu ============= After listening to the theme song you'll be taken the main menu. The pictures of Nelson and the three aliens on the left, and the three models on pedestal in the center serve have no function. On the right are four menu buttons that you can click on with the left mouse button: New, Save/Load, Credits, and Exit. New, starts a new game by going to the model briefing screen. Save/Load, giving you the option the load a game in progress or save if you returned from the map screen to the main menu. Save and/or Load appear at the bottom when you select a slot. You can also delete saved games here. Credits plays a brief listing of the credits for this game. (On my XP machine, I needed to do this to keep the game from crashing, I also saved and viewed the credit between sections of the island to reduce the risk of a crash going into the next section). Exit returns to windows. ================== 3.2 Model Briefing ================== After starting a new game you're taken to the model briefing screen. The three models that you're required to photograph will be displayed here. Move the mouse over each model to display the lingerie that they must be wearing. Click on Map in the lower left corner to proceed to the map screen. The time remaining is displayed in the lower right. ============== 3.3 Map Screen ============== Most of this screen is occupied by a map of Model Isle. The are three different areas of interest on the map: The Forest on the left side, the Beach at the bottom, and the Ruins on the right side. Click on any of these will take you to that area of the island where you can hunt for models. There are also two buttons at the bottom of the screen: Mission which returns to the Model Briefing, and Main with return to the main menu to The time remaining is displayed in the lower right. ============================ 3.4 Beach, Ruins, and Forest ============================ You'll be in model hunting mode in these areas. Use the arrows keys to turn around and look up and down while you stand in one place. If you left click in the main display area you'll throw some goop if you don't have one of the accessories at the bottom selected. Throw the goop at a model to get her undressed. There's a picture of Nelson in the lower left. It sit on top of a green circle which is divided into three sections. Every time you exposed the wrong models lingerie using goop one of the section will turn red. The fourth wrong model will lose the game. To the right of Nelson's picture is the X-Ray Glasses. Left click on this to activate it and use the arrow keys to keep it above your target. Left click again to put it away. Next to the right is a camera. Once a model is reduce to her lingerie you can left click on this and move it around using the arrow keep to keep it over the model so that you can take her picture. Left click again to put the camera away if you aren't going to take a picture. To the right of the camera is the pickup line call. Left click on this to use a pick-up line. There is a limit of five per island area. Next to the right is the lure bag. Left click on this to pull out a lure and then left click on the main display to drop it. These are used to get a model to stand still, an ideal target for gooping. The map button is the next to the right. This return you to the map screen. The time remaining is displayed in the lower right. ****************************************************************************** 4. Mission Strategy ****************************************************************************** ============== 4.1 Time Limit ============== The game in its entirety will take less that 12 minutes to play as that is the time limit you're given to complete it. The time will start when you enter the first area (beach, forest, or ruins) from the map screen. It will keep running until you either win or lose the game, or return to the main menu to save the game. ========================================== 4.2 Selecting Where to Hunt for the Models ========================================== When you're on the map screen you need to choose one of the Ruins, Beach, or Forest. One of the required models will be in each area and they can be selected in any order so it doesn't matter which one you choose first. If a picture of a model is already over an area, you have completed that area and should choose a remaining area which lacks a photo as there will still be a model to find there. ====================== 4.3 Attracting A Model ====================== Immediately use the Pick-Up Line Call on entering an area or after an incorrect model runs off. On average, this will reduce the amount of time required to attract a model. Only do this once per model as the supply of calls is limit to five per area. If your supply of Calls is exhausted you'll need to wait for a model to show up on her own. There will be a ringing sound where the model shows up. ================================ 4.4 Inspect the Models Underwear ================================ As soon as you hear the ringing sound you should activate the X-Ray glasses an turn around until you have the model in sight. If you've turned completely around and haven't found the model turn around in the opposite direction. NOTE: For the first two models you could use the lure bag to get the model to walk to the lure and stand still while you scan her. Once you spotted the model keep tapping the arrow keys to keep the view scope for the glasses over top the model as she slowly walks around for a few seconds. The scope will flash yellow as you do so and turn red once it has scanned her lingerie. If its the wrong lingerie the model (or you've taken too long) will run off, go back the attracting a model. If the lingerie is correct the model will continue to walk around. Put the X- Ray glasses away and proceed to getting the model to stand still. LAST MINUTE TIP: Skip this step and process straight to the goop. If its the wrong girl you'd have lost anyways, if its the correct girl the few seconds saved her may salvage a win. ================================ 4.5 Get the Model to Stand Still ================================ Select the lure bag and place the lure in the main display a short distance from the model. Keep your mouse in the vicinity as the model walks over the the lure and pauses for a few seconds and you can proceed with undressing her. You only have three lures, if you've somehow wasted them you'll need to attempt undressing the model without it. ===================== 4.6 Undress the Model ===================== When the model has stopped left click on her and throw some goop her to remove the first piece of her clothing. A color effect will go over her as the goop dissolves the garment. If you throw more goop at her just as the effect is about the end you can remove the second and then third items without having to chase her. If you don't get the timing right for the second and third items you'll need to lead the model as she tries the run away just slightly ahead of her to hit her again. After she's been hit three time she'll be down to her lingerie. (No, more goop will not get her naked.) Proceed to take her picture. If you take too long she'll run off and you'll need to attract her again. ==================== 4.7 Take the Picture ==================== Once the model is reduced to her underwear click on the camera to activate it. Use the same strategy as with the X-Ray glass to take the photo, however as the model will be running you'll be holding the keys more than just tapping them. If you take too long she'll run off and you'll need to attract her again. After you've successfully taken the photo, click on the map button and proceed to an unfinished area of the island. ============== 4.8 Other Tips ============== The may be characters other than model walking about, like a wannabe rock star and an old maid. Don't get distracted by them or waste time X-raying or gooping them. As an alternative to the strategy above, try dropping a lure before this initial call. Wait over the lure for a model to approach from one of the sides and move to scan her as she walks towards the lure. While there isn't time to finish the scan you'll save some time by not having to locate the model. Only do this for the first two models so you'll have a lure remaining to goop the correct model if she wasn't one of the first two. The fastest way to get rid of the wrong model is to scan her with the x-ray goggles. If you goop her you'll need to wait until she leave (or you take a botched picture. The game won't let you take a picture before the model is down to her underwear. If the game crashes try running the credits before starting a new game. Between photo, return to the main menu, save, run the credits, load and resume playing. ================================= 4.9 Winning and Losing Conditions ================================= You win the game by getting photos of the correct three models in the right underwear. You lose by running out of time, or throwing goops at four incorrect models. There is a cut scene for winning and another for losing. The randomness of the appearance of the correct model means that a win is not a sure thing every time you play. However by following the above strategy the chances will be improved. ****************************************************************************** 5. Somewhere in the Galaxy, a zillion miles away. A catalog full of underwear and chick showed up one day. Three aliens put the catalog through abnormal wear and tear, and it didn't take long before they needed more shots of girls in underwear. Hey man this magazine is getting kind of old" Yeah man and those pages are all sticky" Are you thinking what I'm thinking" ROAD TRIP!!! I'll get the probe. They flew through one of those ?white? hole things and they only had a while to abduct our hero, Nelson, and to go to Model Isle. You got to take some pictures but they've got to be in underwear And here's some stuff that you'll be using to get those model babes bare. You've got a camera. You've got X-Ray Goggles And you've also got Goop, which is an amazing substance that only eats clothes.
