No CD key in my Warhammer 40,000 dawn of war cd case?

Hello, i have a prob with warhammer dawn of war...i can't find my cd key. The problem is that i can't return it to the shop or try to ask them for a cd key because i bought it in another country while i was on holidays.
The white field where the CD key should be is blank...it should be written back on the manual book. I can't play or even install the game. And i would soooo love to try it online. Anyone knows what i could do?

I would think you bought either a illegitimate version of the game or you were just cheated out of 50 dolars.
