I think what you mean is that you can unlock larger maps right, well technically you don't unlock them. In singleplayer mode the maps are the smallest size (16 Players) so only 16 people can play on it and it is a lot smaller. Although if you go online (multiplayer) There 3 map sizes 16 Players (same as singleplayer), 32 Players (Something Like That it might also be 34 i cant remember), and 64 Players. The more players the map can hold the bigger it is so 16=small,32=medium,64=large. There is also one map that you can't get in singleplayer at all for battlefield 2 called Wake Island 2007. There is only a 64 player version of this map though. If you want to play all of these maps by yourself just locally without anyone else and mess around go to multiplayer and select create local and it will show you a whole list of them all including Wake Island and all the 34 player and 64 player maps. Also the 16 player maps. Hope I Helped :P

There is no need to "unlock" maps all maps are available to you from the start!

Just to clarify agent it is 16, 32 and 64 sizes!

A new map as well as the booster pack maps (7 in total) have just been released for free in the latest patch (1.5)
