    Introduction                                                        [SL.02.01]
    Victoria McPherson is a brilliant young FBI agent who's investigating a serial
    murder case. The body count is now at five and she has no real leads, nothing
    but a mountain of circumstantial evidence and a boss who's breathing down her
    In order to take a break from it all, she decides to visit her father in the
    suburbs. Since it's close to the Christmas holidays, she and her father talk
    about their family, including Victoria's grandfather, who used to be a private
    investigator. This discussion leads Victoria to read one of her grandfather's
    old case files, a file which reveals an uncomfortably high number of 
    similarities between a seventy-five year old case in Europe and the current
    string of killings in Chicago...
    Walkthrough                                                         [SL.03.01]
    Not much to say. Double click somewhere to let your character run (not like 
    it'll help much), and to skip the speech, press the space key.
    Also, I'm not really going in-depth on the story on this guide. Play the game
    to learn about the story.
    Chapter 1                                                           [SL.03.02]
    5th Murder Scene
    You start off outside some building. You play Victoria, a female FBI agent.
    How fun. Walk to the building.
    A black cop will hold you off. He is Officer Tate. After some chit chat, he'll
    allow you inside the building. Head up, and head to the right. Talk to Miller.
    He threw up, but will give you a camera. So you can take pictures. Fun fun
    fun. Sounds like Beyond Good & Evil already. 
    Enter the door, and go down the hall. Find Claire and talk to her. You need to
    collect evidence for her. Use the briefcase to get some stuff. Go to the room
    on your left. Examine the nails on the wall (left of the door). Take a picture
    and grab the hairwith the tweezers (combine the camera with the film first).
    Leave the room though the door, and go back to the hall. Enter the door on the
    right. Walk to the lamp, and use the filter on it. Use the spray on the wall
    and you'll see the text "disturbed". Take a picture of the text.
    There is some blood on the floor too. Take a picture of it, and take a sample
    of it. Leave the room. You're in the hall again. Use the filter on the lamp
    here, and... right... use the spray on the wall. This time you'll see
    "sanctuary". Take a picture. More blood here, so take a sample.
    Go back to Claire. You need to take pictures of the body after a short talk.
    Remove the piece of cloth and shoot away. Have fun. This is probably the worst
    part of the game. I didn't find it disturbing, but perhaps you do. 
    Anyway, go back to Miller. When you try to walk down the stairs, it'll 
    collapse. Go back to the room with "sanctuary" on the wall, and look at the
    pile on the right. Grab the lead pipe. Go back to Miller, and take the way to
    the left. Use the lead pipe on the door to go outside.
    Try to use the ladder. That'll fail. Jump on the container. After some 
    chit chat, go to the...
    Police Station
    Find the elevator, and go to "8". Find Miller. He needs you to drop the
    camera in the chute, and get Claire's report (he's too scared himself). Go to
    your own desk (it's the one Miller isn't using). Listen to your message on
    your phone, then take the present and the security card. Walk outside the 
    room, and drop the camera in the chute. Then take the elevator "B2".
    Check the card in your inventory. On the back you'll see the word "Vodka".
    Look at the panel, and use the card on it. Then type the word "Vodka" by using
    the buttons on the panel. It's "86352" if you can't figure it out. 
    Find Claire and talk to her. Get the report. When you leave the room, 
    Victoria's dad will give a call. Give the report to Miller, then leave the
    area and go to...
    Pat's House
    Victoria's father is happy to see her. Hug hug, kiss kiss. You'll get a
    present. Remember the figures on it. Diamond, diamond, heart, diamond,
    diamond. Walk back to the stairs and grab the umbrella.
    Walk up the stairs, and enter the room on the right. Enter the closet on the
    right and use the umbrella. 
    Turn on the light, and walk to the chest. This is the first real puzzle. The
    combination has to be diamond, diamond, heart, diamond, diamond. How? Let's
    say the first area is 1, the second is 2 etc. Press area 2 - 3 times, area 3 -
    1 time, area 4 - 3 times, area 5 - 3 times. This'll save some time. Press the
    red button. In case you mess up, press the red button to reset.
    You'll go to chapter 2 if you did it correctly.
    Chapter 2                                                           [SL.03.03]
    Ah, good old times. Back in 1920. When you talk to Skalnic, you'll find out
    some things. He doesn't like you, he doesn't like whores, he doesn't really 
    care what you think. Leave the screen to the right.
    Talk to Kazimir Stasek. He got a black eye. Listen to him, then continue to
    the right. Talk to Ida, the love of Gus, then talk to Milena. Frantiska is the
    whore who got killed, Anezka is missing, and perhaps Apolina knows more.
    Walk up the stairs, and talk to Ida. She needs to see a doctor. Leave the
    screen, and go to...
    You'll end up here, no matter what you do. The guy Otokar Kubina wants to get
    rid of you. He hires Peter for this. He complains about how the brother is 
    Peter - Roman - is lost. Leave the screen and go to...
    Old Chapel
    Enter the Chapel, and talk to the man (pray for the dead bodies as well). 
    Talk to Mr. Corona. You can have a report, but you just need to find it. Walk
    to the shelves, and grab the piece of paper. The code 74821536 is written on
    it. Walk to the alter, and you'll need to place with pieces to open the safe.
    Open the safe after that by clicking on the steel bar.

    This is some fine art I just made, I know. Anyway, you get the clue, and 
    that's what counts. Grab the picture and the report. When you go outside,
    Peter will beat you up. Not much, but a bit. Go to...
    Walk to the fountain in the middle of the park. Use the picture you have. 
    Click on the spot on the picture near the foot of the fountain, on the right.
    It looks a bit different, so you shouldn't have any problems with it. There
    is a text written there. 'The whore wasn't worthy of my devotion, so I 
    proposed to the angel.'
    Look at the angel that's on top of the fountain, and try to grab the ring. A
    raven will fly off with it though.
    Burned Neighbourhood
    Enter the building and talk to the weird man. He'll tell you about Vladanna,
    and give the ring back. Leave the building. Ida will tell you that there might
    be a person hiding on the scrap yard who survived an attack. Go to...
    Scrap Yard
    When you walk to the scrap yard, you'll notice Peter. Head to the...
    Knock on the door and talk to Kubina. He'll get rid of Peter, if you free
    Roman. Sure thing. Go to...
    Police Station
    Go inside, and talk to Stasek. He'll let Roman go, if you can get his badge
    back from a whore. *Sigh* Go to the...
    Talk to Apolina, and she'll give it back. Back to...
    Police Station
    Give the badge back, and Stasek will free Roman for you. Now let's go back to
    He'll get rid of peter, and also give you a lock picking kit. What a nice
    guy. Makes you all warm, right? Go to the Scrap Yard.
    Scrap Yard
    Peter will suddenly love you, and show you a "trick". The trick gets out of
    control, and an angry dog is running around. Walk around the building, and
    pick up the cutter. See the panel on the wall of the building? Use it. You'll
    have to get 1, 2 and 3 (in that order) on top, and 4, 5 and 6 at the bottom.
    Not much of a problem, so I'm not going in-depth there. Once you did it, the
    crane will be activated. Head inside the building.
    There are 2 crates you can move around. Put them south of the crate that's
    not movable. Leave the building, and jump to the unmovable crate. Use the 
    cutter to break the chain. Enter the building, and then align the crates so
    you can walk to the cabin on the left. Leave the building, and enter the
    Chapter 3                                                           [SL.03.04]
    Pat's House
    Clair calls you. She wants to talk to you about her daughter. Said goodbye to
    Victoria's dad, and leave to the...
    Police Station
    Go down to the morgue (B2, remember?). When you enter, the killer will walk
    away. Claire tells you to check the monitors. Go to the lift (don't enter it)
    and enter the room to the left. You'll see him walk at the parking space. Go
    after him and watch a nice cutscene.
    Talk to Clair, and she'll show you a picture of a girl, with the text "next"
    on it on the back. Head to the office. Victoria's boyfriend, Richard, will 
    call her. Enter the office, and the boss wants to talk with you.
    Go back to the hall, and walk to the end. Enter the room on the right and grab
    the mug. Go back, and use the mug with the coffee machine. Go to your boss to
    get screamed at. Talk to Miller after this, and he'll tell you some nice info.
    Grab the picture from your desk, and go to...
    Go up the stairs, and enter the first door you see. Talk to Kolar. When he's
    gone to print a report, grab the bottle of beer near his seat. Read the report
    he gives. According to him, Gus (Victoria's grandfather) was the killer. Go
    down the stairs, and Miller will call you. Go back to the..
    Police Station
    Go to the morgue. Claire needs fingerprints from them. Go to the office, and
    walk to the workbench. Open the can with powder, use the brush on the powder,
    then use the brush on the bottle of beer. Grab a piece of paper, and turn the
    bottle of beer around and click on any fingerprint. One is the fingerprint you
    need. Now go back to the morgue and give the piece of paper. Time to head home
    Pat's House
    Before you can read more about Gus, you need to make some cookies. Walk to the
    kitchen. Now let's not make this hard, just do this;
    Small cup of butter in the mixer, big cup of milk, big cup of sugar. Blend.
    2 Big cups of flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon ginger. Blend.
    1 Egg, small cup molasses. Mix. Put this in the oven. Leave the kitchen, and
    go to the room to the right. Tell you father about the cookies. Let's get back
    to Gus' story. It's much better anyway.
    Chapter 4                                                           [SL.03.05]
    Scrap Yard
    You'll get a sketch. You'll learn about Mark. After some chit-chat, you can go

    Enter the building, and Mark will tell you how Skalnic accused him of being
    the killer. Let's check that out.
    Police Station
    Talk to Stasek to get through. Find Skalnic's office. He's not really helping,
    and has to leave. Talk to Stasek, and he'll tell you about the workers on the
    side of the building. Go where the car used to be. Grab the rope, and the
    piece of wood (right on the screen). Combines them, and use them on the 
    scaffolding. You'll be in the office. 
    Take the keys from the desk, and use them on the file cabin. You'll get a 
    ring and 2 new photo's. Go to the...
    Ida will tell you she's pregnant. Well congratulations! Anyway, compare the
    old photo with the current situation. Look at the benches. Indeed, they've
    changed. Go to the...
    Note: Check the old picture, and click on the benches. I can't believe so many
    people get stuck here.
    Scrap Yard
    Talk to Peter, and he'll show you some benches. One contains a ring. Woopy. 
    Now head to the...
    Burned Neighbourhood
    Go to the right, and compare the old photo with the current situation. Indeed,
    the water is gone on the right. Check it out, and you'll see a nice message.

    Talk to Milena. See says she saw Skalnic threw something in the sewers. Go

    Burned Neighbourhood
    Check out the sewers. Once you go down there, pick up the ring. When you 
    leave, Milena will ask you to check out Mark's place, because Apolina has been
    gone for a while now.
    Mark's Place
    Time for perhaps one of the most annoying puzzles in the game. Use the set you
    got on the door. If you mess up, just leave and try again. The top 3 blue 
    bars are called 1, 2 and 3. The 3 yellow ones 4, 5 and 6. The red ones 7, 8
    and 9. Then down at the bottom, let's name the 2 blue ones 10 and 11, the 
    yellow ones 12 and 13, and the red ones 14 and 15. Just do this;
    1, Switch, 10, Switch, 2, Switch, 3, 4, Switch, 12, Switch, 5, Switch, 6, 4,
    Switch, 14, 12, Switch, 14, Switch, 7, 4, 15, Switch, 4, Switch, 6, 6, 14,
    Switch, 7, Switch, 13, 13, Switch, 6, 6, 8, Switch, 9.
    Note: I've checked this a few times, and I'm 100% this is the right way to do
    this. If you're failing, it's because you miss something. Don't mail me about
    Once inside, check out the picture. Grab the book on the table. Look at the
    couch to see blood. Grab the telegram.
    Talk to Milena. Yadadada...
    Police Station
    Walk to the office of Skalnic and... End of this chapter.
    Chapter 5                                                           [SL.03.06]
    Pat's House
    Miller will tell you the fingerprints match for 99%. Go to...
    Go to the second floor, and you'll enter the room of Kolar. Look around a bit 
    in his room and then leave the apartment. You'll meet Mia. She'll give you
    her business card. Officer Tate will join up a bit later. Let's get naughty
    in the...
    Red Lantern
    Miller didn't get in, so you'll give it a shot. Go upstairs, and the bouncer
    will refuse your access too. Go back to...
    Go to Mia's room. She has to do some stuff. Go to her bedroom, and look at
    the picture's on her bed. Grab the photo at the lower left corner. Talk to
    Mia about it. Go to...
    Richard's Gallery
    Talk to mister lover to open the gate for you. Too late, another victim. Go
    down the elevator, and pick up the Red Lantern pass. Take the picture on the
    dead body, and then walk to where Mia left the room. Grab the chain there.
    Go back up with the elevator, then use the chain on the hook. Grab the silver
    Go back to the front room of the gallery, and grab the picture of you on the
    desk of Richard. Now go to...
    Police Station
    After a little talk with Kolar there'll be a fight. Go to the office, and
    look near the workbench. There is a paper cutter. Use the Red Lantern pass on
    it, then use your photo on it. Combine your photo with the Red Lantern pass
    and plastify them with the machine on the workbench. There we are; a brand
    new pass.
    Red Lantern
    The bouncer will let you through this time. Find the pool, and grab the silver
    mask and silver nail from the wall. Look at all the paintings. I'm not going
    to bother explaining the puzzle. Just walk to the panel you find and enter the
    code 423615. Look at all the statues, then look at the fruit between the
    statues. Grab the part of the silver apple. Mia has the other part. And where
    is she?
    Richard's Gallery
    Talk to Mia for the keys for her apartment. Also talk to Clair while you're
    around here.
    Enter her room, and go to her bed. First look at the photo's, and grab the
    note. Then take the part of the apple, and combine them.
    Red Lantern
    Back at the statues. You have 4 silver objects (Rose, Mask, Nail, Apple)
    and there are 4 statues. Use these objects, on these statues, in this order;
    Secrets - Mask; Temptation - Apple; Blood - Rose; Pain - Nail. The stairs
    will open up. Go down.
    Enter the room on the left. Look at the mantle of the fireplace. Grab the
    puzzle piece and the key. Look at the picture above the mantle, and remember
    it well. Now find the other room, and find the puzzle. It's the same picture,
    but it's shuffled. Move the parts until they look right, then add the piece
    you have. It's not hard, you just need to try a bit. When it's done, you'll
    get the key handle. Combine it with the key you already have. 
    Walk back to the other room, and use the key on the hole in the mantle. Find
    the book, and read it to end this chapter.
    Chapter 6                                                           [SL.03.07]
    Police Station
    Bang! Bang! Someone will have a screaming pain in his head tonight. Leave the
    station and you'll see Stasek. There has been a murder at the Old Lavatory.
    Once last favour for Stasek; a head start. And that's what you'll get.
    Go down and walk all the way to the left. Use the boat. You'll end up at the
    Old Lavatory, and since the boat will break, there is no way back. The door is
    locked, so climb the wheel. Look at the corpse, then take the ring. Skalnic
    will shoot at you, but also open the door by accident. Enter it.
    Go down the ladder. A really easy puzzle this time. Put the bucket under the
    tank. Spin the wheel on top to fill the tank with 5 parts of water. Spin the
    wheel at the bottom of the tank to fill the bucket with 3 parts of water. 
    Drain the bucket, and fill it with the remaining 2 parts. Fill the tank again,
    and use the wheel at the bottom again. Only 1 part will fit in the bucket, 
    which leaves 4 parts in the tank. Just what we need. Press the button. Go 
    down into the sewers.
    This is a small maze. I'm not going in-depth here. There are 2 things to do
    here. First, find the last ring. Walk around a bit (it's a long walk) until
    you find a dead body. Take the ring. After that find the exit (it's lit, so
    you can't miss it).
    The last puzzle for Gus. You need to put the 6 rings into the panel. Nothing
    too hard, just try a bit. It's fun. After that, you're not done. You need to
    move the key parts all the way up, in the same order as you see them. But
    once again, it's not hard. When you did that, move the key in the metal and
    watch the end of this chapter.
    Chapter 7                                                           [SL.03.08]
    Richard's Gallery
    You'll go through the Mark Ackerman paintings. Talk to Mia, then talk to 
    Richard. Find the book in the middle of the room with the paintings, and look
    at it.
    Police Office
    Take the fire extinguisher. It bothered me from the beginning. Now we can
    finally take it. Go to the office. Claire will tell you that you need Todd's
    account in order to gain access to the files you want. 
    Go to the coffee machine, and use a tissue on the machine. Then press the
    button. Tell the janitor about the problem. Grab his screwdrivers and the
    keys. Enter the room of your boss. Get the taser from the left table, and
    look at the safe. Examine it, then grab the mug of your boss.
    Remember how you get the fingerprints from the beer bottle? Do the same with
    the mug, so you get a piece of paper with Tod's fingerprint on it. Go back to
    his room, and use the piece of paper on the safe. Grab the security key. Head
    to the elevator, and go to B3 by using the key.
    You'll see a panel. Use the screwdriver to open it, then use the taser to open
    the door. In the bomb squad room, open the vent. Then use the computer and
    release a robot. Press any arrow to get it in action. The robot will end up
    in a new room. Let it walk to the door, and it'll open it for you.
    Go inside, and use the fire extinguisher to see the lasers. Then head back to
    the bomb squad room, and release another robot. Any arrow button will do.
    Now things get fun. You need to move the robot over the field of lasers. I'll
    tell you how to do it in steps. U means Unsafe, S means Safe. When it's
    unsafe, watch the pattern of the laserbeam(s) and move your timing. When the
    laser is halfway past a square, it's safe to enter, because by the time you
    get there, the laser is gone. Anyway. Start at the 3rd tile from the right (or
    left, whatever suits you), which is unsafe.
    Forward - S, Turn Left, Forward - S, Forward - S, Forward - S, Forward - U,
    Turn Right, Forward - S, Turn Left, Forward - Safe, Turn Right, Forward - U,
    Turn Left, Forward - U, Forward - U, Forward - U, Turn Right, Forward - U,
    Turn Left, Forward - S, Turn Right, Forward - S, Forward - S, Turn Left,
    Forward - S, Forward - S, Turn Left, Forward - S, Forward - S, Turn Right,
    Forward - U (keep going).
    Now head to the archive when you're in control of Victoria again. Use the 
    computer. Nothing is found, and one file is still hired by Gus. You'll get
    busted by Tod, but it doesn't matter much.
    Pat's House
    Go to the study room (up the stairs, and the end of the hall) and look at the
    painting. You'll notice a lump. Go down to the Jacuzzi and grab the knife from
    the toolbox of Victoria's dad. Then go back to the painting, and use the knife
    one it to reveal the documents. Good stuff to read. Exit the room, and Claire
    will give you a call. 
    Well guess what. Mia is under attack. Head to her room. Watch the cutscene,
    and Victoria will grab a gun.
    Richard's Gallery
    Look at all the paintings. You'll see hidden words. Also click on the painting
    once you got the description to see more hidden words. Once you checked all
    painting, use Richard's computer. Combine the words "bridge", "Chicago" and
    Tominova Bridge
    Watch the ending and be happy. You finished the game.

    Q: Can I die in this game?
    A: Nope, it's safe.
    Q: Where can I find the music of the game?

    A: I don't know.

    A: I don't know, wouldn't surprise me.

    A: Sometimes it down, sometimes it doesn't really work. I have no idea.
