  • Skip those annoying intro movies!

    Right-click your BF1942 icon, there should be a text field with the filename in speech-marks. eg:

    ''C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe''

    Add the following to this text:

    +restart 1

    It should look like this ''____________'' +restart 1

    Remember a space between the previous text and between restart and 1.

    Now when you start the game you will be taken straight to the profile selection screen.

  • You don't have to watch those logos and movies anymore.

    Right-click on your Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome icon,. Go to “Properties” and then the tab “Shortcut”. Then in the “Target” field type “+restart 1” (without the quotations).

    Before type in code it should look like SOMETHING like this”

    ''C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe''

    Or

    ''C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\BF1942.exe'' +game XPack1

    As state type:

    +restart 1

    in the “Target” field.

    Then it should look SOMETHING like this:

    During a game, hit the tilde key (~). When the debug screen pops up, type in the following code and hit Enter. You should get a confirmation message. Hit the tilde key again and get playing!

    P.S. This code won't drain your tickets like in Battlefield 1942!

  • Repair and Re-arm plane without landing

    If you fly just barely above a runway but dont land, your plane will refill its ammo and get repaired just like it would if it were on the ground.

  • Skip intro movie

    To skip the intro movie when loading the game from the desktop, right click on the Battlefield Vietnam icon and select ''Properties'' (assuming you are running Windows). In the ''Target'' box, add ''+restart 1'' to the end of the target. The game should skip the splash and intro movie when you load the game from the desktop.
