Redoing quest?

Question about over doing quest, can i loose the progress on my other characters when i want to kill King Leoric again?

Like i have Demon Hunter and he have Monk and i start a Royal Crypt mission while his Monk is in farther in act 1

No you do not lose any progress on your other characters, each character is a separate game

Answer

Some progress may be lost,

If you create a game to kill Leoric and your friend joins your game.
When he returns to his game he'll need to continue from the start of the quest he was in.

(In act 2 there is 1 fairly long quest which is the only place I'd feel to have lost progress)
