How do you jump over spikes to unlock cage?

At beginning level 1-7? How do you jump back over spikes to unlock key!!!

Answer

You can double jump. after your first jump, jump again immediately to retain the extra height you did on the first jump. that way you have enough height to go over the spikes. also. fyi you can cast spell using the blood gems youve collected. press up and attack button
