Some mods have a "Read Me" file included with them. Open that and it should tell you how to install/run the mod. If not try and send an E-mail to the creator of the mod and ask them.

Try and get mods in .exe format as they usually do everything for you.

can you show me some stuff of the modds? links etc
Im living in a silent hunter world, meaning my life is below 25 feet under sealevel
i hear you thinking wtf does this... well...
this game has a tonnage of mods and we have a program that installs these mods for you

it's called : Generic Mod Enabler ( jgsme )
you can download it here:

www.gamefront.com/files/21681483/JSGME.7z

its free of charge and works like a charm

how to use:

*install jgsme in the root of C&C and run jgsme one time and close it gain.
* then go into the root of the c&c folder and you see a folder is created called MODS
*copy all the modds you want to have INSIDE the MODS folder
*start jgsme again and install the mods by clicking on them and make 'em move to the left itll make a sound when thr 'mod'is installed
*close jgsme and start C&C

now if this doesnt work, all you have to do is uninstall jgsme
get rid of the mods folder and youre done
nothing will be changed to the game itself becouse jgsme wil install the mods temporally

Most CnC3 mods I've played follow a fairly simple install - find a folder called 'Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars' (in Windows 7 it's located in your Documents folder, i.e. C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars.

Inside that folder you should find two folders, 'mods' and 'replays' (without quotes). If the 'mods' folder isn't there, just create it. To install a mod, drop the mod's *entire folder* (NOT the individual files) into the 'mods' folder. Then enable the Launcher by going to the desktop shortcut for the game, right-clicking it and selecting Properties. In the Target box, add the switch -ui to the entry (mine reads as "J:\Games\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\CNC3.exe" -ui, but obviously change it to the path to your game's executable). Click Apply, then OK. Double click the shortcut, and the Launcher should appear. Select the button 'Game Browser'. This will bring up a screen with two tabs, Replays and Mods. Select the Mods tab to display a list of all installed mods. Highlight the one you wish to play and click Launch Game.
