System requirements?

Sims 2 minimum requirements were 800mhz processor + 256 mb ram + 32 mb VGA card.
since the graphics of Sim's 3 is exactly like sims 2 so my question is will the requirments remain the same?
i'm not asking that for me, i just spent 76,000 rupees in buying myself a new pc that will play every game on full settings.
my cousin's pc is 1GHz Pentium 3
456 something ram. and a 64 mb vga card. geforce mx 440.
he's stil playing the last one.

xkilla96 got it right. Just remember, you don't always have to comply to the system requirements. Just because they officially support it doesn't mean it won't work. I got The Sims 3 to work just fine with 1GB RAM instead of the 1.5 they needed.
