How do I give the animals a bath?

I am getting mad I cant give the animals baths and it says they r dirty!?!?!?!?! Please help!

the answer to your question is to go and buy a brush. Go into town to the trader guy and scroll through untill you find a brush there and 3 kinds (buy which ever one you want) ONLY BUY ONE! once you buy one you're good

after tht go and brush your pets until they are clean
