======== 1. Intro ========
==========================

Welcome. Second guide I've written in years. These are great games. And
GameTap is a rather cool and inexpensive way to enjoy them. No, I'm not getting
paid to say that; I actually rather like GameTap, and I've subscribed to it
since it launched. The selection of classic top-quality PC games is well worth
the monthly fee.

The biggest challenge in writing this guide, in which you have to take out two
heads of state, is to write it so as not to draw the ire of the Secret Service,
who is no doubt scanning the tubes of the Internet looking for threats. So, I
tried to make extra-sure in writing this that I didn't actually say anything
about killing the President. Oh, crap...

Anyway, the first part of this guide is rather Invisiclues-like, consisting
solely of hints in a progressively more obvious order before outright revealing
the solution to the puzzle. Sometimes, a nudge is all you really need, and I've
tried to set this up so it won't ruin the game if you get stuck somewhere.

The second part of the guide is a plain old step-by-step walkthrough, which you
really shouldn't use, unless you're breezing through the game just to say you
completed it. In which case, why are you even playing the game?

===============================

*** Part I: The White House ***

   A. Getting In
-------------------

Obviously, getting into the White House is your first task here.

But that Security Guard won't let you, because he's busy guarding the door.

If only you could distract him away from that door.

Say, maybe with a call on the phone next to the door?

You have to look at the pay phone first to get the number.

Head back to the office, and call the White House.

Tell the Agent to hold, and he will.

   B. A One-On-One Meeting
-----------------------------

Trying to go through the War Room door is always fun.

Okay, so you can't do that for now. But you'll notice on your second visit to
the Oval Office that there's a second guest there.

And you should pay attention to what he's talking about.

Because the President certainly isn't.

Offer your services as an interpreter, and be creative about it.

Have you offered the little Whizzer a drink?

And, assuming you've seen what happens when you try it...

Try directing him to the War Room instead of the Boys' Room.

And now that you've gotten the President alone, violence is the answer.

Assuming you noticed the boxing glove on the front lawn of the White House, of
course.

Use it on the President. Geesh.

*** Part II: The Election ***

   A. The Cards
------------------

So, it's time to have Max debate Lincoln and become president.

Scary, isn't it?

When you talk about the issues, you'll notice what Lincoln says...

...and that he's reading it from the cue cards in front.

There's always one of these "Three Things" puzzles in these games, isn't there?

So, you're looking for three replacement Cue cards.

One is in the White House, two are back Just near the office.

Grab the pithy slogans in the White House, then cycle through them to pick one
that matches a question you can Ask.

Relgion and schools are certainly "two wrongs", You think?

The second sign is one of those "hidden item in plain sight" puzzles. I hate
that Crap.

In the alley between the office and Sybil's...

Examine the posters on the left, grab it when it falls.

This one matches up with the taxes question quite nicely.

Finally, the third cue card is in plain sight.

At Hugh Bliss's shop.

Get him to perform a magic trick, and grab it while he's gone.

And use that cue card for the question about toxic waste.

   B. Family Values
----------------------

So, you're so close to winning the election, but you need that family values
vote.

Have you asked Lincoln about family values?

Noticed the fliers in front of Lincoln yet?

Don't they just describe the perfect man?

Know anybody looking for a man?

Talked to Sybil yet?

She's looking for someone tall, dark, and handsome. And marble.

Take a flier, and give it to Sybil.

But, how do you get Lincoln to talk to her?

Use the bug on Lincoln and get some sound bites.

Then give Sybil a call from your office, selecting the appropriate sentences.

President Max. Has a nice ring to it, no?

*** Part III: The War Room ***

   A. Starting A War
-----------------------

So, you're president, but you can't get into the war room.

Unless there's a war on.

Luckily, it sure sounds like one's about to start in the oval office.

If only you could get one of the brothers to loosen up a little.

Like, maybe with Bosco's truth serum, which only costs just $100 million.

If you've noticed the budget on the desk, then you'll see you've got that much
cash to play with.

Anything in Bosco's that looks ancient?

But how do you prove it? Go talk to Sybil.

So, how can you get that Carbon Dating device away from her?

If you get her to show it off to you, then she'll find something historic in her
office.

Then, you can allocate some money to her using the budget.

Once she's rich, she'll leave the device in the office.

Take it, and use it on those ancient hot dogs at Bosco's.

Give Bosco some cash from the budget.

Go back and get that truth serum, then use it on the thirstiest of the Poppers.

That'd be Whizzer.

Enjoy the musical number.

   B. Getting Past Security
-----------------------------

So, how do you get past the Secret Service Agent?

It's time to send him on a vacation.

Max is president, so he can declare it's any day he wants.

Have you noticed the ribbon on the desk?

Pin that ribbon on the Agent and make him a Secretary.

Now, declare it's Secretary's Day.

And tell him to take a vacation.

   C. Lincoln Smash
---------------------

Lincoln must be stopped. But your gun isn't going to do it.

Clearly, Krypton must be nuked, as well as Antartica. And Bosco's.

Hmmm, I bet you didn't notice that beacon in Bosco's earlier. That's because
you couldn't.

So, take it from Bosco's.

And use it on Lincoln.

Nuke 'em.

See you next month.

======== 3. Game-Ruining Walkthrough ========
=============================================

WARNING: Using this walkthrough will ruin the game for you. I strongly suggest
you use the hints above instead, and then only when you're stuck. Figuring out
