______________________________________________________________________________

It's a day like any other: Strong Bad wakes up from his couch, goes upstairs
and checks his e-mail. He receives one that catches his eye though: why
doesn't he just beat up Homestar? Taking it into consideration, Strong Bad
decides to pay Homestar a visit. However, just as he's preparing to beat the
snot out of Homestar, Homestar informs him of the Free City USA Tri-Annual
Race to the End of the Race! Strong Bad comes to the conclusion that beating
him in the race is almost as good as beating him into next week and decides
to enter, causing grief and ruining Homestar's name. However, just as things
are looking great, an unexpected twist comes into play! Now Strong Bad has
to right this wrong. Are you up for it?

                              II. CHARACTERS                            [CHAR]

______________________________________________________________________________

___________________________________

            STRONG BAD

___________________________________

The main character of the game and the guy who teaches you how to fake being
cool and attractive: Strong Bad! He's very self-centered and big headed,
often playing pranks and beating around others for his own amusment. He likes
to respond to e-mail sent to him by fans (often making fun of them). He
receives an e-mail one day telling him to beat up Homestar, which he decides
to do, but later has an unexpected surprise! Can he right what he's wrong so
things will get back to normal?

___________________________________

          HOMESTAR RUNNER

___________________________________

The "main character" of homestarrunner.com can be described in one word:
absent-minded. He's often times showing how stupid he can be, but despite
that he's somewhat of a good athlete. He's currently dating his
on-again-off-again girlfriend Marzipan. His goal is to beat the FCTURER,
which he's been prepping for weeks to win. He's blissfully unaware that
Strong Bad means to harm him.

___________________________________

            STRONG SAD

___________________________________

Strong Bad's younger brother is pretty much a whiner. He mopes around,
complaining about how tortured he is. He enjoys writing and listening to
Brit Pout, often telling people more information than necessary. Strong Bad
loves to beat him around. For the entire length of the game, he can be found
sitting in his room, living in his own world. However, if you can find some
way to make him get out of the house, something good may happen!

___________________________________

            STRONG MAD

___________________________________

Strong Bad's older brother isn't very charismatic. He's big and bulky and
always talks in one syllabic sentences (most often shouting). Strong Bad
considers his older brother cool, though some may say it's only because he's
afraid of being beat up by him. His appearances are somewhat limited in this
game, but he can be found working as security for the Poopsmith.

___________________________________

            THE CHEAT

___________________________________

The Cheat, as described by himself, helps Strong Bad cheat at stuff. He
talks in "meh"s that everyone can understand. His role in this game is
very simple: to get kicked into the dryer by Strong Bad.

___________________________________

             MARZIPAN

___________________________________

Marzipan is Homestar's on-again-off-again girlfriend and is very much a
free thinker. She's often thinking of others and protesting things she
finds wrong. She can be found at her house, getting a party ready for
Homestar when he wins the race.

___________________________________

             COACH Z

___________________________________

Coach Z, despite the name, isn't a very good athelete. He can be pretty
oblivious to what's going on around him. He thinks of himself as a good
rapper, although most of the time he's simply going one two one two. He's
the current holder of the FCTURER silver trophy and best time and also the
promoter and timekeeper for it. He's somehow in charge of all the paperwork
as well.

___________________________________

            POM POM

___________________________________

Pom Pom is a ladies man who has tons and tons of women. He's Homestar's
best friend and a very good athelete. However, he only talks in bubble
sounds, which everyone seems to understand. He's Homestar's only competition
in the FCTURER.

___________________________________

        THE KING OF TOWN

___________________________________

The clueless ruler of town, the King of Town, aka KOT, will eat pretty much
anything (especially if it's covered in butter). He's also very forgetful.
He's the official announcer of the FCTURER and judge.

___________________________________

          THE POOPSMITH

___________________________________

Not much is known about the Poopsmith. He's taken a vow of silence and talks
by raising signs. He's hardworking and is often found shoveling poop,
although no one is quite sure why or what it's for. He can be found doing
what he does best: shoveling poop at the castle.

                             III. GAME BASICS                           [BASE]

______________________________________________________________________________

Strong Bad is a cool guy, so he won't let just anyone play as him. You have
to know a few things before he'll let you walk in his shoes. Luckily, this
section is here for you to help you prepare for this awesome opportunity.

Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People is a point and click adventure.
That means that pretty much everything in the game is done by pointing on
something, then clicking. For example, to make Strong Bad move somewhere,
point your cursor to where you want him to go and click. He will walk there
automatically. Double click to make him run. Hold it down to make him
continue to walk in the direction of your mouse pointer.

Like any other point and click, objects can be found throughout the world
that can be interacted with or even taken. To do so, simply point your
cursor to the object (which will show you the name of the object), then click
on it. Strong Bad will then go over to the object and interact with it. It
can be as simple as examining the object to taking it and shoving it in his
pocket.

Along the way, your inventory will accumulate objects (providing you're
getting them). To use an object, head into your inventory (the bag icon or
- Key on the Wii) and click on the object you want to use in the inventory.
Your cursor will change to show the icon of the object. Now point your cursor
at what you want to use it on and click. Bingo magnifico! You're using it!

You'll also want to be able to change areas (Strong House gets a tad boring
after the 18th consecutive hour of exploration). Simply click the map icon
(+ Key on the Wii) and you'll be able to open your map! At the start you
only have Strong House but during the story you'll be able to add places to
go! Simply...do what now? Point and click? Yes! You're there!

The map menu also contains a screen which shows you the hidden stuff you've
found throughout the game as well as a meter of awesomeness! Just click
on the right arrow for the hidden stuff, then again for the awesomeness
meter! Alright you're almost ready to play this game!

Talking to people is as simple as examining an item. Simply click on them,
then a row of pictures will pop up. Click on any one of them to talk to the
person about that thing. Sometimes you'll find a good Strong Bad and an
evil Strong Bad option. This simply asks you if you want to be nice or
mean to the person. Easy peasy!

If you'd like, you can click on the camera (or press 2 on the Wii) and it'll
open up camera mode! This mode lets you take pictures of Strong Bad at nearly
any part of the game. Perfect for those times you're slaping Strong Sad
around!

The final thing you could possibly want to know about this game is how to
check e-mail. This IS Strong Bad's game after all. It's easy though, go
to Strong House, up the stairs and click on the Lappy. Bingo! You're
in Strong Bad's e-mail! Plus, if you're playing this on Wii, you can even
send your own e-mails to people on your buddy list!

Now you're ready to play Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People!

------------------------------------------------------------------

No you can't handle Strong Bad's style! In response to an e-mail, Strong Bad
decides he's going to beat up Homestar! He mentions something about a track.
We'll get to that in a minute. First of all, head left to the door panel and
look carefully. On the frame, you'll find two light switches. The top is a
normal light switch. You've probably played haunted house with one at home
before by flicking it on and off repeatedly. The bottom one is the rave
switch, which is needed for our Easter Egg Obscure Trophy. Flick it and watch
Strong Bad as he parties down! When he finishes, repeat it once more, just
so he's tired of it. Score one for the trophy team! We're well on our way
to our first trophy from heaven!

Proceed into the hall and down the steps. Walk through the room into the
all the way to the left and you'll be in Strong Bad's room! Grab the Black
Metal Detector, which will add +5 to your ability to find hidden objects!
Just kidding about that by the way. Click on the Videlectrix poster hanging
on the wall to hear a little bit more about it. Do it again cause things
are better when repeated multiple times! Or it could be because we need to
do it for our Easter Egg Trophy. We're 25% of the way there! Next, click
on the Fun Machine, which will let us play...awesome! Snake Boxer 5! So
much better than Snake Boxer 4: Lady Snake Parade. Go ahead and exit it.
We'll come back later for the high score, I promise. Strong Bad notices
that he's missing his manual though, which contains the controversial
"forbidden mode". We've got to find that! It sounds awesome! But first,
head over to the desk where you'll start up Teen Girl Squad! You can mess
around with that if you like, but we don't have the cards necessary to get
the perfect score. Which Strong Bad finally just notices. He should have
been reading this, then he wouldn't be so surprised!

Head out of here and down the stairs into the basement. It's The Cheat!
Time for some football practice...and some progress towards our Public
Nuscane Trophy! Click on The Cheat and Strong Bad will punt him into
the dryer. It's good! MAKE SURE TO TALK TO HIM WHILE HE'S IN THE DRYER.
If you don't, then it won't count (please don't tell me I forgot
this in my video walkthrough. It was corrected in Part 4). Now that The
Cheat is nice and comfy, head back upstairs and into the kitchen again.
Let's see what eats Strong Bad has. Check the fridge and you'll find a
really old expired bottle of mayo. Eww...check until he starts repeating
himself. Let's leave that disgusting bottle alone now. Head outside the
Strong House.

If you'd like, take out your Black
Metal Detector and search near the
box. When you find something you'll
put a treasure marker on it. You
can't do anything with it now but
when you get the shovel, you can come
back and dig it up. It'll make it a
little easier to find later.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright, now that we're here let's get something cool.  Check Strong Bad's
mailbox.  Inside, he finds a Beanie!  Now we can burglarize everyone!  ...Not
really, but we can wear it in our fancy Photo Booth wardrobe!  Strong Bad
stuffs it into his pockets and it magically teleports there by itself.
Alright, we're finally done with Strong House.  Click on your map and
you can place The Track anywhere you like on it!  When you've done so,
click on it to travel there.
Alright we're here at the track and so is Homestar!  He better be ready for
his beating.  Go up and talk to him.  Make sure to ask him about your missing
manual.  Wa huh?  Strong Sad lent it to Homestar?!?  And he lent it to
Marzipan?  Gross!  Oh well, we'll have to interrogate her about it later.
Continue talking to him about the race.  He learns that Homestar is competing
in a race!  Wouldn't it be just as much fun to beat him in that and humiliate
him in front of everyone?  Strong Bad agrees.  He slips up about a party
though.  Make sure to ask him about it.  There's no way we could ever not
be invited to a party, right Strong Bad?  But it seems Marzipan doesn't
like us that much...whisperingly.  Quit talking to Homestar, who seems
confused by pummeling and gets a phone call from Marzipan.  She upsets him
a bit.  Enough to punt his phone across the field then head off to the
Locker Room.  Run over there and grab it.  Sweet!  Now we can change his
speed dials, and more importantly, make prank calls!  Awesome.
            FUTURE SIGHT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another treasure marker lies around
here. Use your Black Metal Detector
inbetween the posts near the entrance.
Again, you can't get these until a
little later, but it makes it easier.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, head over to Coach Z and talk to him.  Tell him you're going to enter
the race too.  Unfortunately for us though the deadline was months ago.
Coach Z is a stickler for the rules and will refuse to enter you too.  Crap.
Well, it was worth a shot.  If you want, you can get a bit more info on the
race as well from him, but it's not necessary.  Head all the way back to the
left, near where we came in.  See the brown door?  Head through and into
the Locker Room.
Now that you're in the Locker Room, you'll find Homestar doing...something.
He says he's prepping for the race, but he's just babbling.  Talk to him
about the race three times and you'll start messing with his concentration.
Plus you'll earn even more progress towards your Public Nuisance trophy!
Sounds like a win win to me.  You can try to talk to him about taking a
shower, but he won't listen.  There's one last thing to do here in the
Locker Room before we leave.  Head over to the lockers and open the third
one, furthest to the right.  You'll find Strong Mad's lunch box: Limozeen,
but they're in space.  Check it a couple times.  Ouch, that sounds painful.
But we're halfway there!  On a side related note, when you do get the
obscure trophies, they'll end up here in a case on the right of the showers.
You can check each one individually, but that's for later.
Alright, we're done here with smelly Homestar...for now.  He still needs a
beating since we can't compete, but there are more pressing issues.  We've
not been invited to a party!  Let's head to Marzipan's to give her what for.
Open your map and place it wherever you feel most appropriate and head there.
We're here at Marzipan's.  Joy.  You can try and ring the bell, but she's out
back getting ready for her stupid party.  Along the way, you'll find a raggedy
shrub just sitting there on the side of her house.  Click it, then head into
the back where Marzipan is.  Talk to her about the party.  Now we know why
we're not invited but still is that a good enough reason?  Ask her about
your Snake Boxer 5 to learn that Coach Z has it!  Man, isn't it weird that
everyone wants to read about Snake Boxer 5 even though they don't own it?
Anyway, ask Marzipan about her hedge.  She left her hedge clippers at Bubs'
huh?  This sounds like a good excuse to go get us some new clippers!  But
before you do, make sure to talk to Marzipan about herself.  Use the evil
option on her and tell her the truth: her decorations suck!  She's not too
happy about that but our progress meter is going up for that trophy!  Stop
talking to her and go take some onions from her garden.  You know, just in
case we get hungry later on.
We're all done here for now so let's not stick around.  We got power tools
to play with!  Open your map and put Bubs' on it, then head there.
------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a lot of stuff to get here at Bubs'!  And it's not just at his stand!
Go over and say hi to Bubs.  He's surprised you're not beating up Homestar.
Hey!  You can't read all the e-mail they make public on the internet!  Oh
well.  Talk to him about the hedge shears and he'll hand them over.  This
gives me an idea...we should pretend to be Homestar!  Then we can compete
in the race, lose and then humiliate him!  We'll start on that in a minute.
Before that though there's tons of chocolatey goodness hidden throughout
here!  Make sure to talk to Bubs about himself, then use the evil option
on him.  He does look a little chunkier though, doesn't he?  Maybe it's that
third D this game got.  Only one more thing to do until we get our coveted
Public Nuisance trophy!  Do it one more time and Strong Bad will mention
that Strong Sad could do better, which will prompt Strong Sad to pop up and
show Bubs.  That gives us one third of our progress towards a brand new
trophy: the Strong Sad trophy!  Ok, Bubs is getting a little boring.  Let's
venture outward.
See that box right next to Bubs' stand?  Let's check underneath it.  Whoa,
how'd that get there?  We've got the cover to our long lost Snake Boxer 5
manual!  Alright!  Head right until you reach Strong Badia!  A new map
marker will automatically appear on your map.  You can move it later if you
like.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            FUTURE SIGHT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A third treasure marker can be found
right here in Strong Badia!  Whip out
your Black Metal Detector and search
near the left corner nearest where you
found Strong Badia.  As always, you'll
only be able to make use of it later
when you find the shovel.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Let's keep going right shall we? We'll soon come across the Cool Car, which
adds another automatic marker to our map. But there's nothing really of
interest here. So keep running. It's good for your thighs. You'll come
across the Photo Booth! This adds ANOTHER marker to your map automatically.
It's finally filling out quite nicely! If you'd like, you can head into the
Photo Booth and try on any costume there (which is only the default ones and
your Beanie right now). You can also pose in front of a backdrop and take
pictures to send to your friends (or your mom if you don't have any friends).
Be sure to check in the box outside as well to find another costume: your
Data Boys polo shirt! You tuck it into your magical pockets and it teleports
two feet to the Photo Booth. Next up is more track running to the right.
Hey it's just like a 2D mario game!

You'll run past a blue whale, which adds to your map. You can talk to it,
but it only says quirky stuff. Irrelavent to the game. Keep pacing yourself,
you need to get in shape for the FCUTRER! Hey, it's The Stick! Your map
somehow draws it to itself automatically. We'll come back to that in a
minute. Keep running to find a hedge! It's just like the one you found at
Marzipan's...except now you're packing hedge shears! Slice and dice it till
you carve an electric v shaped guitar! Unknown to Strong Bad, this actually
adds 25% towards your last unknown trophy: the Hedge Master trophy! Make
sure to pick up the Hedge Trimmings next to your handy work. You can never
have enough of those! Head back to The Stick and check it out. Make sure to
do this twice! This adds towards your Easter Egg trophy! We're done here.
Head over to The Track (see isn't your map more filled out now?) and we'll
start our mission to become Homestar!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright it's back to The Track! We've got two more things to do before
we start our mission here. First off, we have to ask Coach Z about our
missing Snake Boxer 5 manual. Head over and talk to Coach Z about it. Gross!
I agree Strong Bad, I've heard enough too. But somehow Bubs has gotten a
hold of it! Oh well, we'll go back a little later for it. Head to the right
to find an unexpected surprise...another hedge! Let's saw up this bad boy.
Use your hedge shears to make a hedgy impression of the Bad himself! Make
sure not to miss those trimmings on the ground. Now it's finally time to
start Operation Stupify: Becoming Homestar.

Whip out Homestar's handy dandy cell phone from the 80s and call up Marzipan.
He'll trick her into thinking Homestar's ready to race! She'll pack up and
start heading out. Quick, we've got to get out of here! Let's run off to
Marzipan's now that she's gone! (How we get there without meeting her on
the way I do not know.)

------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, we're all alone at Marzipan's house! It's time to cause some
mischief. Grab the Balloons on Marzipan's mailbox. I dunno why, but maybe
we'll find out later. Walk a bit to the left to find that ugly shrub from
before. Let's help Marzipan a bit shall we? Shave it down to unintentionally
make a revealing piece of naked Homestar. Only one hedge left! Grab the
trimmings like always. Let's have a little fun now shall we? Whip out
Homestar's cell phone and move down the list, prank calling everyone (except
Marzipan) to unlock one final number: Homsar! Call him up and you'll be
completely done with the prank calls! Take THAT society! 100%!

Now, look at the giant statue of Homestar. There must be SOMETHING on it
we can use to look like him. We sure could use that head...but how? Oh ho
ho! Take out your hedge clippers and use them on the statue. You'll slice
off Homestar's head and accidentally burn down the rest of the statue. Bonus
points! Unfortunately, Marzipan's coming back! Hide! All she sees is the
head of Homestar, peering out from the bushes. She thinks that Homestar
caused this wreckage! We're off the hook! Talk about an added bonus. That's
all here folks. We need the other half for Operation Stupify: Becoming
Homestar, so head back to the Track.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Now it's time to complete our preperations for Operation Stupify! Run into
the Locker Room to find Homestar. Let's help him out shall we? Give him
the Onion you grabbed from Marzipan's house. You'll convince him it's a
secret deodorant used by gypsys to win and he'll rub it all over himself.
of course, we know the truth behind it. Talk to him again and tell him to
take a shower. He won't believe you at first but thanks to his new
anti-persperant we gave him, he finds out how much he reeks. He wastes no
time in ripping off his clothes and running into the shower. Eww! Good
thing for our The Cheat like reflexes! Head over to the lockers. This time,
search in the second locker and you'll find Homestar's clothes. We're gonna
"borrow" them for the time being. We now have a complete Homestar costume!
With Strong Bad's superb Homestar impression, no one will know the difference,
not even Strong Bad! There's just one little thing we've got to do. Head
out to Bubs' Concession Stand. Meanwhile, Homestar will notice you're not
there any more and runs off to find some clothes. However, everyone manages
to see him in the process! Humilated again! We're on a roll!

Now that we've humiliated Homestar and managed to get him away from the
Track, we can head back and complete Operation Stupify: Becoming Homestar!
However, there's one thing to do here still. Talk to Bubs and ask him about
your missing manual. He doesn't seem to remember at first, but recalls it
after our little screaming fit. He hands it over to us! Wow, that's some
backstory! Now it's time to run back to The Track. At least we're getting
some practice in huh?

OK, now it's time to complete Operation Stupify: Becoming Homestar. Take
out your now complete Homestar Costume and use it on Strong Bad. Wow, he
had me convinced too! ...If it weren't for his eyes poking out and his
Boxing Gloves that is! Head over to Coach Z while wearing the uniform.
Coach Z will notice how huge Homestar's head has become, but doesn't manage
to put 2 and 2 together. It's time for the race to begin! WHOA! Pom Pom
smokes us! There's no WAY we'll be able to beat 5.3 seconds! We can't
even beat 16 seconds at the moment! You can try and run the race, but there's
no point. Besides, we're trying to humiliate Homestar anyway! Go ahead and
quit the race by clicking "Quit It" in the top left corner. Everyone is
talking about how horrible Homestar is! The King puts out a criminal record
for his earlier streaking, Marzipan breaks up with him over the statue and
Coach Z talks about how disgraceful your race run was. Mission complete!
We've finally ruined Homestar...and in an unplanned and much better way!
Strong Bad returns home automatically.

Well, Strong Bad admits, he didn't get to beat up Homestar. But he did do
something much better: he turned him into a fugitive outcast without a
girlfriend! Just as he's about to lay back down on the couch at watch some
TV, he notices something horribly wrong: HOMESTAR! What's he doing here?
He admits that because he's a fugitive outcast without a girlfriend, Strong
Bad is his only friend and that he'll be crashing with you till everything is
better. WHY?!? You can talk to him and try to convince him everything is
better, but he's not falling for it. Maybe a little Teen Girl Squad will help
calm down Strong Bad. But wait! How? He not only beat you upstairs, but
he's drawing on your Teen Girl Squad table! Don't expect to play that for
a while, Homestar admits he's not giving it up until he pours his heart into
a 23 part graphic novel. Forget about the kitchen too cause somehow Homestar
is in there cooking too. What are we supposed to do now?!? You can tell
Homestar to leave, but he won't until everything is better...and he won't
fall for it when you tell him that! You have to get proof. Crap...that
means we have to undo everything that we just did to Homestar!

Before we do that, let's get a few things here in the house. Head into the
kitchen and look on the table. A box? Check it to find out that it's a
second place prize for Homestar. He can't be reminded of his loss if he's
to move out! We'll just take it...and maybe eat a few along the way.

Now, head up the stairs and do what Strong Bad does best: check your e-mail!
You'll find a few from fans, just for laughs but you'll also find a spam
e-mail from Total Load! That sounds awesome! Strong Bad will automatically
respond to the e-mail and exit out. Check your e-mail again. You'll be
notified that your Total Load has arrived at Bubs'. Awesome! You'll also
get one from Bubs saying that there's free candy coupons at the Track!
Free...maybe we can afford that! That's all for the important e-mails. You
can check your other e-mails for a laugh, but we're done here. We have to
make it so Homestar will leave!

Let's think about this for a minute...how can we? Well, first we have to
make it so he can even leave the house by revoking his fugitive status. How's
that you ask? Head off to the King of Town's castle of course! Maybe we can
figure out a plan to pardon him there. Open up your map and place it
anywhere on the map, then head out to it.

------------------------------------------------------------------

We're here! If you know what you're doing, this is the only time you'll ever
have to come here. First things first though: there's a hedge right in front
of the castle! Buzz it up and make that dragon man Trogdor! Whoa, what was
that all about? A trophy in our name just appeared out of nowhere!
Congratulations people! You've just obtained your first obscure trophy!
Grab the clippings scattered on the ground. Now it's time to get Homestar's
criminal Record! Without it, the authorities will not be able to arrest
Homestar! Head in through the doors.

You'll pass through most of the castle and arrive at The Hall of Records!
Watch out! It's The Poopsmith! The King's guard/mime/poosmith! We'll have
to be especially careful not to get caught. Run over and click on the pile
of Whatsit in front of you. It's not to give Strong Bad the jibbilies, but
it'll give you progress towards your Easter Egg trophy! Why? I dunno maybe
the programmers liked poop? Anyways, head back towards the wall and grab
the Shovel. With this you can finally dig up those treasure markers I've
been mentioning in the future sight sections! *trumpet fanfare* Oops, sorry
Strong Bad, I'm not trying to give you away. Anyways, run over and click
on the statue to hide behind it. Wait until the Poopsmith starts shoveling
again, then run into the next room. If you do get caught, the Poopsmith will
summon Strong Mad, who will throw you out the window of the castle. Whoa
there big guy! You'll have to start over from the beginning if this happens.

In the next room over, you'll find a Plunger and a Bonsai Tree. Grab the
Plunger and hide behind the Bonsai Tree. In the next room over is Homestar's
criminal record! Unfortunately, Strong Mad is waiting in the room. We have
to draw him out! Hmm...aha! Wait behind the Bonsai Tree until the Poopsmith
comes into the room. The second he starts to shovel, high tail it out of the
room into the first room. Take your new Plunger and use it on the drain,
which can be found near where you found the Shovel. It has yellow goop
dripping out of it, it's not hard to spot. The Plunger will stick onto the
wall. Way to go suction power! Now for the easy part. Wait out into the
open for the Poopsmith and deliberatly get caught. As soon as he notices you,
fly over to the Plunger and click on it. Then, click on the vent above you!
If you've done it right, Strong Mad will arrive in the room confused. Him
and the Poopsmith will question each other about your whereabouts. If you
don't do it in time, Strong Mad will kick you out and you'll have to get
the Poopsmith's attention again.

We should be wearing our Dangeresque glasses! Move down the vent until
you're above Homestar's Criminal Record. Click on it and Strong Bad will
manage to steal it. However, Strong Mad has returned and throws you out
of the castle. That saved us a walk! There's just one last thing to do
here in the castle: find ourselves most of the Snake Boxer 5 manual! Whip
out your Black Metal Detector and search near the left of the field. It's
just after where the stone path ends, but further up the screen. Once you
hear the solo, you've found yourself some treasure! Use that new shovel
of yours on the treasure marker. It's pages 2-49 of our manual! Only one
page left to find!

OK, so Homestar's record is wiped clean. What's next? How about winning
the FCUTRER? Then he'll stop moping and everyone will look at him as the
athlete he once was! Good thinking! Let's head to the Track.

one more time. Only one more thing left to do for another mystery trophy
from heaven! Run back left until you're in front of the first set of
speakers. No, that's not a dead muskrat on the ground, it's a costume piece!
Pick it up. Yay now you can act out your favorite old time movies! How
about we go ahead and pick up some of that free candy. It sounds delicious
doesn't it?  Head to Bubs'.

Alright! Talk to Bubs about that tasty free candy! He gives you a box of
ChocoOPPs...what the crap? Packing Peanuts? Yuck. Oh well, we can use
them for SOMETHING. Also, ask him about Total Load. He'll deny that it's
in, but then immediately find it. Alright, now we've got all the necessities
for winning the FCUTRER! But first, some collectables!

Head to Strong Badia. If you've already placed the marker on the ground
earlier, go ahead and dig it up. If not, take out your Black Metal Detector
and search the corner of Strong Badia and dig up the marker that you place.
How did it find that? We've got the Book card, which is one of the ultimate
cards for Teen Girl Squad! How the Metal Detector found paper is beyond me
but we're not complaining! Next, head right and use the shovel on the car.
Hidden underneath the hood is another one of the ultimate Teen Girl Squad
Cards: Car Keys! We're halfway to a perfect scoring game now! If only we
could get Homestar off the talbe we could play it...grr. Let's grab another
few things for our awesome meter shall we?

If you really want to, you can give the criminal record to Homestar, but it
only gets him off your couch. I won't be giving it to him until we've
acquired the other two parts to getting him out. The real reason we've
come here is for the final page of Snake Boxer 5 and the hole it leaves
behind! If you've already got the treasure marker, dig it up. If not,
search near the box. Widdly widdly widdly! That guitar solo means that
you found something...and that something just happens to be...THE LONG LOST
NOTES PAGE OF YOUR SNAKE BOXER 5 MANUAL! Now you officially have the code
to access forbidden mode! If you like, you can head there and try for the
high score, I'm going to wait until later.

Next, check the hole where the manual was. Strong Sad will come out to
correct you, but Strong Bad ignores him. Good job! Strong Sad needs the
fresh air for his asthma! We're now ready for Operation Stupify 2:
Redeeming Homestar! Head to the track.

                   in under 16 seconds, Megaphone
------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok there's one thing we've got to do before we start. If you paid attention
to the Future Sight section, dig up the treasure marker. If not, use the
Black Metal Detector inbetween the posts. Once again, our magic Metal
Detector has found a non-metallic object: the Megaphone card for Teen Girl
Squad! Even more strange is that the paper isn't in the least dirty! weird.
Anyway, we both know there's no way we can beat this race legitimately. So
we're going to have to cheat a little. First of all, we're going to have to
make it so the log won't roll on the water. Whip out your handy dandy
lifetime supply of Jela-Ton and use it on the log. With a little help from
The Cheat (who's naturally good at cheating) and no help from the freaky
mascot, the Jela-Ton solidifies and keeps the log straight!

Next on our agenda, we've got to do something about that Heavy Lourde. Don't
we have something that will carry the weight for us? That's right! We sto...
err...borrowed balloons from Marzipan! Use them on the weight and it'll
start floating.

Now all that's left is to rearrange the hurdling obstacles so they go from
hardest to easiest. Click on any one of them then another to change their
spots. Rearrange them into the following order: Hurdle, Turtle and Curdled
Milk. Now you're able to cheat your way to the gold medal! But there's
just one thing stopping you from that: Pom Pom. Let's take care of that.

Head into the Locker Room. Walk over to the lockers and open the first one.
Hmm...Pom Pom's bag eh? I wonder what Coach Z would think about illegal
performance enhancing drugs! Use the Total Load on the bag. Now, head over
to Coach Z's office. Talk to him about himself and use the evil option.
Whoa Strong Bad, burn! Just kidding. Talk to him about Total Load and he'll
"prove" his athletes aren't on any drugs. Unfortunately for him, he finds
some in Pom Pom's locker and he immediately disqualifies him, wondering where
Homestar is at. That's your cue for Operation Stupify 2: Redeeming Homestar!
But before you can do so, your third obscure trophy will fly out of nowhere!
Awesome! If you'd like to, you can head over to the trophy case in the corner
where you'll find your obscure trophies. Clicking on them will have Strong
Bad tell you about each one.

Head back outside and over to the video camera. Whoops, you accidentally
fried the only tape of the FCUTRER! That means it'll have to be rerun! But
with Pom Pom disqualified, you're the only competitor!

For the first part of the race, move your cursor so that the arrow stays in
the middle. Next is the Heavy Lourde, which is easy now thanks to the
balloons. Simply click the mouse or press the A button as soon as the stick
hits the ground and the icon shows up. Then, it's just a matter of clicking
or pressing A when you're about to leap the hurdles. If you manage to beat
Coach Z's score you win!

Congratulations! You've been awarded the STUD and everyone in town likes
Homestar again! Well, except for Marzipan. If you managed to beat it in
under 16 seconds, you'll notice your record time is green in the awesome
meter. If it's red, go back to the starting line and click on it to
rerun the race alone until you beat 16 seconds. It's not too terribly hard.
Once you've done this, it's time for the final step: getting Marzipan back
with Homestar. Head to her house.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, you knew this was coming. Let's complete a few more sections of our
awesomeness page shall we? Head over to the loose dirt next to Marzipan's
mailbox and use your shovel on it. Cool montage! Now that he's done, throw
down the free chocolates you got. The King of Town will walk by and smell it,
but sees it way down in the hole. Strong Bad comments on him not being such
a lemming and Strong Sad appears to lecture you once more! After it's done,
we'll get the next obscure trophy! All because we helped Strong Sad get out
of the house! Not that we'd ever want to help Strong Sad. But we sacrificed
the Chocolates we needed to get Marzipan back for him, so head over to Bubs'
and talk to him about the free chocolate. He gives you some guff over it
but understands after we explain it. Now head back to Marzipan's.

There's one last thing to do before we get this couple back together. Take
your Total Load and throw it down the hole. Awesome we made a race of uber
moles! Oh and they gave us a gift: the last Teen Girl Squad card! Now we
can get a perfect score! We'll get to that in a minute though. First we've
got to make sure Marzipan gets back with Homestar so he'll stop his Strong
Sad impression!

Take those hedge trimmings that are oh so useful and place them over the
hole. Next, use the Chocolates on the doormat. Marzipan calls Homestar's
Cell Phone and leaves a message, explaining that she accepts his chocolate
apology and they're getting back together. Alright! We can finally kick
Homestar out of our hallowed halls! Make sure you talk to the king by
clicking on the hole. He's playing escort to the mole people! How sweet.
Oh look! Dun dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! The last obscure trophy is ours!
Head out to the Strong House.

------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as you get in, whip out that Silver Trophy of Ultimate Destiny and
give it to Homestar. You'll teleport to Strong Bad's room, where you trick
Homestar into thinking he won the race. He's postponing the 23 part graphic
novel! Hooray! Now it's time for a little Teen Girl Squad. Check out the
Teen Girl Squad section for more information on how to get a perfect score
in detail. Or if you're lazy just remember to use the Car Keys on Whats Her
Face before the scene transition, the Book on So and So at any point, the
Megaphone on Cheerleader and the Candy Bar on The Ugly One during the game.
Be sure to use harmless cards at any other point in the comic to push the
transition along.

Bwahaha nothing beats watching those teen girls get maimed...except maybe
the forbidden mode of Snake Boxer 5! Go ahead and head over to the fun
machine. Remember the code is up, up, down, up start ont the title screen.
Using this, you'll unlock forbidden mode! See the Snake Boxer 5 section for
more details. Once you've knocked out 15+ snakes, let 'em kill you.

How could it get any better than that you ask? Well, kicking Homestar out
is! Head down the stairs into the TV room and give Homestar the Criminal
Record. He refuses to believe that you actually stole it until the local
TV news announces it. Homestar's off the hook! Now you're free to watch all
the TV shows you want! Only one more thing to do to get Homestar's buttocks
surgically removed from your house. Go up into the kitchen and give
Homestar the Cell Phone. MAKE SURE THAT YOU'VE DONE ALL THE PRANK CALLS ON
IT BEFORE YOU GIVE IT TO HIM. If you don't, you will BE UNABLE TO PRANK
CALL ANYONE. At first he'll refuse (since no one wants to talk to him), but
Strong Bad will play the recorded message back to Homestar and he'll gleefully
take it and leave. Strong House is now all yours again! Take a moment to
breathe in the fresh, non-Homestar air.

You'll cut away to a scene of Strong Bad replying to the original e-mail,
but he's interrupted by a loud shout. Oh no they didn't! They're having
the party here! Marzipan notes that since you burned down her decorations,
they're having it here until they're all boogied out. Crap that means
it'll be a good few hours before they're gone! Let's try and start it
early by turning on some music. Blech, Strong Sad's Brit Pout. All it's
doing is making everyone depressed. But they still stay! What's wrong with
them? Change it to the next one to hear Coach Z's demo. Coach Z is obviously
getting down but everyone else has a problem with it. So flip it again. Oh
boy soft music. Only Strong Mad seems to like this one though. However, when
you flip it again, you'll find The Cheat's Latin Rhythms and everyone starts
a Conga line!

Hmm...now how can we get them out of the house...hmm...oh wait...yes! Go
over to the table and grab the Banana Peel off of the floor. You can try
to trip them with it, but they'll just kick it in your face. Go over to
the Luxa Lounger and extend it. The Conga line will see it and have to
re-adjust their path. When they start to approach the window, use the
Banana Peel. They'll all trip outside the window and you'll finally be
free to your own doing! Strong Bad continues his e-mail reply to his
french friend, then sings his way down to the couch.

Congratulations! You've now beaten Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive
People Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner! You've also unlocked Extended Play
mode! Stay tuned for the preview of Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free!
How do you use Extended Play? Simple! Head into the load menu and load
the autosave. We've got one last thing to do for a 100% save file.
I'll meet you there!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, you awake in Strong Bad's TV room, right after the credits. What's
different you ask? Well, for starters you can now wear costumes outside of
your Photo Booth wardrobe. That's right, you can now talk to Marzipan wearing
the girl hair or check e-mails in your Data Boys Polo Shirt! You can also
get any of the Public Nuisance Trophy progress simply by talking to the four
people you would have to until the progress meter goes up. You are also free
to get anything you've missed so far. The only new thing, however, is the
final costume item: The Chef's Hat. Head upstairs and into the kitchen. You
can now freely grab the Chef's Hat sitting on the microwave. With that, you
should have a 100% complete save file and a maxed out awesomeness ranking!

                                VI. MINIGAMES                           [MINI]

______________________________________________________________________________

This game, in addition to the main quest, features two minigames: a NES style
game called Snake Boxer 5 and a comic book style game called Teen Girl Squad.
This section will detail the games and strategies you can use to beat them
with high scores. If you're looking for the manual pages or the Teen Girl
Squad cards, head over to the Awesomeness section.

____________________________________________________________

                       SNAKE BOXER 5                  [SNB5]

____________________________________________________________

Snake Boxer 5 is an old school style video game, which pits you against
snakes in a boxing arena. The game can be somewhat challenging at times,
but as soon as you get the "forbidden mode", the game becomes almost
pathetically easy. It can be found by clicking on the fun machine in
Strong Bad's room. In order to achieve maximum awesomeness, a high score
of 15+ is required on this game. Below is a foolproof strategy that even
Homestar himself can use to achieve this.

First of all, make sure you use the "forbidden mode". You can use it
regardless of whether or not you've found all four Snake Boxer 5 pages.
The code itself is Up, Up, Down, Up, Start on the title screen. Using this,
you'll turn into a cobra and also gain a secret power only available to you
while you've turned yourself scaly. If you hold back for a few seconds,
you'll charge up a powerful fire breath that is the equivalent of three
punches. Better yet, while you're charging you cannot be attacked! Simply
charge up your fire breath and release back as soon as the snake comes into
line with you, then immediately hold back again so you dodge any attacks the
snake may throw at you. There may be times where you're unlucky and get hit
right as you release the fire, but using this strategy you should be able
to easily knock out 15+ snakes in a row before you lose all three lives.

____________________________________________________________

                      TEEN GIRL SQUAD                 [TNGS]

____________________________________________________________

That wacky, injury prone Teen Girl Squad makes an appearance in this game!
It's a Strong Bad drawn comic that follows the lives (and deaths) of four
teen girls. By dragging cards onto the different girls at different times
in the comic book, humorous things may or may not happen to them (for example,
simply using the hair spray card on one of the girls, it'll produce a
funny scene with her using it, but if done before the basketball game, the
"on fire" player will burn them to a crisp). The game can be accessed by
clicking on the desk in Strong Bad's room (which is covered in paper). The
goal is to create a combination of events that Strong Bad will find funny.
After the ensuing madness (or calm), Strong Bad will give you a rating on
how much he thought it rocked. If you're looking to max out your awesomeness,
you're going to have to get a perfect score of 5000, which is detailed
below.

Before you start, make sure you've found all four hidden cards, otherwise
it'll be pretty much impossible. Check the awesomeness section for their
location. Once you've come across all four cards, head back to the Strong
House and start the minigame. As soon as it starts, use the Car Keys card
on Whats Her Face (the one with the long hair and jeans). This will kill her
off and make Strong Bad laugh pretty hard. Next, use the Book card on So and
So (the one with the plaid dress). This will cause an event that kills her
off as well, making Strong Bad laugh even harder. Afterwards, the scene
changes and everyone is walking around. Simply place any card (except hair
spray) on the girls to pass time. I use the Cell Phone ringtone and Text
Message cards on the two, just because they're pretty harmless. The scene
will change to the basketball game. Use the Megaphone on Cheerleader (the
one with the ponytails) to watch another death scene that tickles Strong Bad's
funny bone. Finally, end with giving The Ugly One (the last remaining teen
girl) the Chocolate Bar. After her death, Strong Bad will eat it up and
hand out the ultimate prize: a perfect score of 5000 points! You'll also
get the Roach card, which lets you transform any girl into a Roach. It makes
getting a perfect score easier by replacing it with any of the aformentioned
cards.

                             VII. AWESOMENESS                           [AWES]

______________________________________________________________________________

One of the key features in this game that keeps you playing long after you've
kicked the snot out of Homestar is the awesomeness tracker. This page, found
by clicking the right arrow on your map a couple of times, keeps track of your
in-game accomplishments and gives you a rating based on how well you're doing.
If you want to completely max out your awesomeness and achieve the top rank
of Trogdor Polo Chucker, you're going to have to accomplish everything on
this page.

When something has been successfully accomplished and you've achieved max
awesomeness for it, it will turn green on the awesomeness screen. To get
the max rating, you have to accomplish the following:

-Obtain all four outfits
-Prank call all seven people
-Find all four Teen Girl Squad cards
-Find all four Snake Boxer 5 Manual Pages
-Obtain all four obscure trophies
-Beat the FCUTRER in under 16 seconds
-Obtain a high score of 15+ on Snake Boxer 5
-Obtain a high score of 5000 on Teen Girl Squad

This section outlines how to get all the outfits, manual pages, cards and
prank calls. For information on how to get the high scores, please refer
to the minigame section. For information on the trophies, check out the
obscure trophies section.

                        OUTFITS                       [OUTF]

____________________________________________________________

There are four different outfits that are hidden throughout this game, which
can be worn inside the photo booth located in the same patch as Bubs'. Upon
beating the game and going into Extended Mode, you can wear these costumes
outside of the photo booth.

___________________________________

             BEANIE

___________________________________

This classic burglar's beanie prevents you from the ever growing threat of
red laser beams and alarm systems! Unfortunately there isn't either of those
things in this game, so it'll just keep Strong Bad's head warm for now. Find
this one hidden in Strong Bad's mailbox at the start of the game.

___________________________________

       DATA BOYS POLO SHIRT

___________________________________

This blue T-shirt sporting a stylish 5 1/4 inch floppy disk can be found
after putting Bubs' on the map. Grab it from underneath the box next to
the photo booth which is on the same field as Bubs'.

___________________________________

        OLD TIMEY MUSTACHE

___________________________________

This old fashioned mustache can be found after Homestar moves in to the
house. Head to the Track and over to the microphone, shouting your
awesomeness over the P.A. system to make this one fall from the speaker.
Head over to the left and pick it up.

___________________________________

           CHEF'S HAT

___________________________________

The last outfit is worn by Homestar for most of his stay at the Strong House.
Even though it sits on the microwave near the end, you can't get it until you
start Extended play. As soon as you wake Strong Bad up from the couch, head
upstairs and grab it off of the microwave in the kitchen.

____________________________________________________________

                SNAKE BOXER 5 MANUAL PAGES [SB5M]

____________________________________________________________

The quest for Strong Bad's long lost Snake Boxer 5 Manual Pages begins after
playing a rousing game on the Fun Machine in his room. He looks to find his
manual, which he's written the code for the secret forbidden mode on, but
finds it missing. For help with the game itself, look under the minigames
section. Keep in mind that the page you find depends on the order you
find them in. The first page will always be the cover, the second pages 2-49,
the third credits and the fourth the secret code. For example, skipping every
manual page and going straight to the Strong House for the last page will
always result you finding the cover.

___________________________________

              COVER

___________________________________

The first page can be found as soon as Bubs' is unlocked. Head over to his
stand and check the box next to it to find it underneath.

___________________________________

           PAGES 2-49

___________________________________

The next page involves a short trip around, talking to various people but
cannot be completed until Marzipan and Bubs' are unlocked. Head to the Track,
talking to Homestar about it and he'll tell you to go to Marzipan. Marzipan
will tell you that she lent it to Coach Z. Head to the track and talk to him
to find out he gave it to Bubs who will initially not know what you're
talking about but then hand it over to you.

___________________________________

             CREDITS

___________________________________

The third page can be found immediately after receiving the shovel. Head
to the King of Town's castle, then use the Black Metal Detector around the
left side of the screen. Dig up the treasure to find this page.

___________________________________

              NOTES

___________________________________

To finally recover the long lost page with the super secret forbidden mode
cheat on it, use the Black Metal Detector near the box at the Strong House.
Dig up the treasure and this coveted prize will be yours! Watch out Snakes!

____________________________________________________________

                TEEN GIRL SQUAD CARDS                 [TGSC]

____________________________________________________________

Strong Bad had some really great ideas for the Teen Girl Squad and wrote them
down on cards, but they've somehow come up missing! No worries Strong Bad,
we'll point you in the right direction! If you're looking for help getting
the high score or with the game itself, check the minigame section under
Teen Girl Squad. Keep in mind that every one of these requires the shovel
found at the King of Town's castle. Unlike the Snake Boxer 5 Manual Pages,
each one of these cards is a set card.

___________________________________

               BOOK

___________________________________

The first Teen Girl Squad card can be found buried in the left part of
Strong Badia. Use your Black Metal Detector in the dirt until you find it,
then use your shovel to dig up the somewhat metallic card.

___________________________________

             CAR KEYS

___________________________________

This next card is easier to find. Simply walk over to the Cool Car and use
your shovel on it. Strong Bad will place it in the hood and open it,
finding this card hidden in there.

___________________________________

             MEGAPHONE

___________________________________

The third Teen Girl Squad card is found buried underneath the Track. Use
the Black Metal Detector inbetween the posts close to where you first come in
and then use the shovel to dig it up. That's some metal detector you've got
Strong Bad, finding paper too.

___________________________________

             CANDY BAR

___________________________________

The last Teen Girl Squad card is hidden underground, but in a different way.
Head over to Marzipan's house and dig a hole in the loose dirt next to the
mailbox. Then, take the Total Load and drop it into the hole. The mole
people will be generous enough to give you the last card.

____________________________________________________________

                        PRANK CALLS                   [PRCL]

____________________________________________________________

Prank calls are avaliable as soon as you pick up Homestar's cell phone at
the Track. Simply use the phone on Strong Bad and a menu will appear over
his head. Click on the person who you want to prank call and watch as
Strong Bad calls them, pretending he's Homestar. It's incredibly simple,
but there are a few things worth noting about prank calls.

1. You cannot call someone who is in the same area as you. For example,
   you cannot call Marzipan at her house, The Cheat at the Strong House, etc.
   If a name isn't showing up on your list, change locations and try again.
2. Homsar isn't available to call until you prank call everyone on the list.
3. Marzipan must be prank called to advance the story, so she'll stay on the
   list until you cut down Homestar's statue. Just keep it in mind.
4. Prank calls become PERMANENTLY unavailable after handing the phone back
   over to Homestar so make sure you call everyone before then.

Here's a list of people to prank call:
-Marzipan
-Pom Pom
-Strong Bad
-The Cheat
-Bubs
-Coach Z
-Homsar

                             VIII. OBSCURE TROPHIES                     [OBSC]

______________________________________________________________________________

One of the bigger challenges of this game is to obtain all four obscure
trophies. Nowhere in the game does it even tell you what the four trophies
are or how to get them until you have them, but never fear! This section
should help explain to you the ins and outs of these trophies from heaven.
If you want to see your trophies and have Strong Bad explain them, head over
to the Locker Room at the Track and they'll be there as soon as you walk in.

____________________________________________________________

                 EASTER EGG TROPHY                    [EEOT]

____________________________________________________________

This trophy is obtained after finding easter eggs located throughout the game.
Below is a list of things needed and when you can get them.

___________________________________

           RAVE SWITCH

___________________________________

This one is simple and can be done as soon as you start the game. In Strong
Bad's computer room, you'll notice two light switches on the side of the door.
The top one is a simple light switch, turning on and off the lights. The
second one is a rave switch. Flick the rave switch twice (until Strong Bad
notes he's definitely getting tired of it).

___________________________________

        VIDELECTRIX POSTER

___________________________________

Another one that can be accomplished as soon as the game starts. In Strong
Bad's room, above the TV is a Videlectrix Poster. Click on it until Strong
Bad repeats himself.

___________________________________

             FRIDGE

___________________________________

This one can also be obtained as soon as the game starts. In Strong Bad's
kitchen, examine the fridge until he starts to repeat himself.

___________________________________

      STRONG MAD'S LUNCHBOX

___________________________________

You can't get this one until Homestar has run into the locker room to
"reacquire his game face". Head into the locker room and examine the
lockers in the middle of the room. In the third locker is a Limozeen lunch
box. Examine it until Strong Bad repeats himself.

___________________________________

            THE STICK

___________________________________

This one is available after unlocking Bubs' Convience Stand. Keep running to
the side until you come across a stick poking out of the ground. Examine it
twice.

___________________________________

           MICROPHONE

___________________________________

This one is available after Homestar moves in. Return to The Track and
examine the Microphone until Strong Bad starts repeating himself.

___________________________________

       THE KING OF TOWN

___________________________________

This one is available after trapping The King of Town in a hole in Marzipan's
front lawn. Simply click on the hole and talk to him while he's in there.
This can be done in extended play if forgotten.

____________________________________________________________

                 HEDGE MASTER TROPHY                  [HMOT]

____________________________________________________________

This trophy is obtained after cutting down every hedge in the game. Below
is a list of where each hedge is and what it becomes. Make sure to pick
up the trimmings!

___________________________________

           HEDGE #1

___________________________________

This hedge is located next to The Stick, slightly behind it and to the right.
Cut it down with the hedge shears and it will become a Flying V guitar.

___________________________________

           HEDGE #2

___________________________________

This hedge is located at the Track, almost all the way furthest right. This
one is cut into the shape of Strong Bad.

___________________________________

           HEDGE #3

___________________________________

This hedge is located at Marzipan's, next to her house and is required to
check at least once to get the hedge clippers. Cut it down to make a naked
Homestar running.

___________________________________

           HEDGE #4

___________________________________

The last hedge can be found just outside The King of Town's Castle. Slice
this one up into Trogdor.

____________________________________________________________

                 PUBLIC NUISANCE TROPHY               [PNOT]

____________________________________________________________

This trophy is obtained by simply choosing options Strong Bad himself would
choose if this game were simply an extended episode on homestarrunner.com.
In other words, be a complete jerk to everyone you run into. Below is the
list needed to obtain this trophy.

___________________________________

           THE CHEAT

___________________________________

This one is obtainable as soon as you start the game. Head downstairs into
Strong Bad's washing room to find The Cheat sitting around. Attempt to talk
to him and Strong Bad will kick him into the dryer. MAKE SURE TO TALK TO HIM
IN THE DRYER OR IT WILL NOT COUNT.

___________________________________

            HOMESTAR

___________________________________

This one becomes available as soon as he goes into the locker room to prepare,
but becomes unavaliable after taking his clothes. Simply talk to Homestar
about the race three times (until Strong Bad starts messing with him). If
you missed this one, head to Marzipan's in Extended Play mode and talk to him
twice.

___________________________________

            MARZIPAN

___________________________________

This one becomes available after her house is unlocked and becomes unavaliable
after cutting down her Homestar statue. Go into the backyard and ask Marzipan
about herself, then use the evil option on her. If you missed this one,
simply talk to her in Extended Play.

___________________________________

              BUBS

___________________________________

This one is available as soon as his store is avaliable. Go up to the counter
and ask him about himself, then use the evil option on him.

___________________________________

            COACH Z

___________________________________

This one becomes available after Homestar moves in and becomes unavaliable
after disqualifying Pom Pom. Head to the Track and into the Locker Room.
Click on Coach Z's door and ask him about himself, then use the evil option.
If you miss this one, talk to him outside the Locker Room in Extended Play.

____________________________________________________________

                     STRONG SAD TROPHY                [SSOT]

____________________________________________________________

This trophy is obtained for succeeding in your efforts to get Strong Sad
out of the house.

___________________________________

             BUBS

___________________________________

This one is available as soon as you get Bubs' shop. Ask Bubs about
himself then use the evil option. Then, afterwards, do it again to make
Strong Sad appear out of nowhere.

___________________________________

         STRONG HOUSE

___________________________________

This one is available after getting the shovel from The King of Town's
castle. Head back to the Strong House then use the Black Metal Detector
on the lawn. Move around until you find something. Use your shovel on the
spot to dig up a Snake Boxer 5 manual page, then examine the hole you just
made to get a lecture from Strong Sad.

___________________________________

           MARZIPAN'S

___________________________________

This one can be gotten as soon as you get both the shovel and the free
chocolates from Bubs. Use the shovel on the dirt next to Marzipan's mailbox,
then throw the chocolates into the hole you just made. Listen to another
Strong Sad lecture.

                             IX. PS3 TROPHIES                           [PS3T]

______________________________________________________________________________

About a year after this guide was published, Telltale annouced that the entire
season of Strong Bad's CG4AP would be released on PS3 for $14.99. Along with
higher resolutions, the games were given individual trophy lists. Below are
the trophies for Episode 1 and how to obtain them. (If you follow my
walkthrough from start to finish, you'll unlock all of these along the way
irregardless).

-(Bronze) 'Started' Act 1: User draws the track on the map.
     This is unlocked when you place the track on your map in the beginning of
     the game at Strong House. There's no way you can miss this one.
-(Bronze) The Biggest Loser: Help Strong Bad lose the race for Homestar.
     This is unlocked after you complete your Homestar costume and lose the
     race. There's no way to miss this one either.
-(Bronze) Start Act 3: Homestar moves out of the house of Strong.
     This trophy is unlocked when you finally clear Homestar's name. This
     one is unmissable as well.
-(Gold) Completed Game: Completed the game itself.
     Once you kick everyone out of Strong House at the end of the game, this
     trophy will unlock.
-(Bronze) Sharp Dressed Man: Obtained all costumes.
     Refer to the outfit section at [OUTF] for a list of costumes and where
     to find them.
-(Bronze) Prank Call King: Called everyone in Strongbadia.
     Please note that this one is MISSABLE and needs to be done before giving
     Homestar his cell phone back. Use Homestar's cell phone to call
     everyone on the list and once you finish talking to Homsar, you'll
     unlock the trophy. (Note: You cannot prank call someone in the same
     area you are in. If you haven't unlocked this one and you're sure you
     called everyone, move to a different area and try again).
-(Bronze) Card Collector: Collected all Teen Girl Squad Cards.
     Please refer to the Teen Girl Squad section at [TGSC] for a list of
     cards and where to find them.
-(Bronze) Cover to Cover: Collect all pages of the Snake Boxer 5 manual.
     Please refer to the Snake Boxer 5 pages section at [SB5M] for a list
     of where to find them.
-(Bronze) These Trophies Aren't Obscure Any More!: Earned all obscure trophies
     Please refer to the Obscure Trophies section at [OBSC] for a list of
     all four trophies, their requirements and how to unlock them.
-(Bronze) F.C.U.T.R.E.R. Best Time: Obtained a really good time on the race.
     This one is MISSABLE as well and has to be done before you give Homestar
     the three items required to have him move out. The only way to get this
     is to have Strong Bad cheat his way through. For the log, use the
     Jela-Ton on the water to solidify it and make it so it doesn't roll.
     For the weight, use the balloons on it to make it light. For the
     hurdles, rearrange them from hardest to easiest. Once that's all done,
     run the race and try to beat it in under 16 seconds. If you mess up,
     click on the video recorder again and rerun it until this trophy
     unlocks.
-(Silver) Snakes Cower Before Me!: Faced and defeated 15 levels of snakes.
     This should only be attempted after unlocking the secret Cobra mode.
     Once you do, this trophy is incredibly easy. Check the Snake Boxer 5
     minigame section at [SNB5] for more info.
-(Bronze) Snake Whisperer: Unlocked Snake Boxer 5's Cobra mode.
     You should unlock this one while attempting the above trophy. The code
     is written on the last page of the Snake Boxer 5 manual and will always
     be the last page you find. For their locations, check the Manual section
     at [SB5M].
-(Bronze) The Perfect Teen Girl Squad: Earn 5000 points or more in TGS.
     This one is impossible until you find all four cards and use them in
     their proper order. For the locations of the cards, see [TGSC]. For
     details on how to achieve a perfect game, check out the TGS section
     under minigames at [TNGS].
-(Silver) Trogdor Polo Chucker: There is no higher rank to describe you!
     This is obtained by getting 100% on this episode. In order to do this,
     you will have to find all four outfits, prank call all seven people,
     find all four TGS cards and get 5000 points on the minigame, find all
     four Snake Boxer 5 manual pages and get 15+ KOs on the minigame, obtain
     all four obscure trophies and beat the FCUTRER in under 16 seconds.
     Once all of these tasks are complete, you will get the Trogdor Polo
     Chucker title and unlock this achievement. (This may as well be the
     platinum trophy for this game).

        ABOUT GAME
________________________________

Q: What is this game?
A: This game is the first part of a five episode game series based on the
   Homestar Runner web cartoons.

Q: Where can I get this game?
A: If you'd like the PC version, you can head to www.telltalegames.com and
   purchase it there (or if you'd like the entire season at a discounted
   price). If you'd like the Wii version, head to the Wii Shop channel, then
   click on WiiWare and By Publisher. Click TellTale Games. If you'd like
   the PS3 version, search the PS3 store for Strong Bad.

Q: What's this talk of a special edition DVD?
A: If you order the entire season for the PC, you have the option of getting
   a special edition DVD (which if I'm not mistaken only costs you the
   shipping for).

Q: What's on it?
A: The special editon DVD contains all five games as well as trailers for
   the series and Wallace and Grommit, Behind the Bad making of,
   Dangeresque in 3D, the Make a Scene at Pax 2008, Dangeresque puppets,
   Wallpapers for your computer, mp3s from the soundtrack and more.

Q: What's the difference between the Wii, PC and PS3 versions?
A: Simply put: not much. The Wii version has an option that allows you to
   write your own e-mails on Strong Bad's computer and attach the pictures
   you've taken to them, then send them off to your Wii friends through
   the Wii's e-mail. The PC version lacks this, but has the ability to
   improve the graphics through the settings. The PS3 seems to be based
   off of the PC version, but also has unlockable trophies.

Q: I like this game! Where can I get more Strong Bad?
A: Well for starters, you can go get the other four games in the series.
   If you're done with those, homestarrunner.com has plenty of stuff to
   keep you entertained.

Q: This game is only episode 1? What are the others like?
A: They're very similar gameplay wise, but each one follows a different
   theme.

Q: What are the five games about?
A: Episode 1 (which you should know about) follows Strong Bad's plan to
   beat up Homestar and the madness that ensues. Episode 2 follows Strong
   Bad as he (along with everyone else) starts his own independent nation
   and tries to unite everyone underneath the Strong Badian flag. Episode
   3 features Strong Bad hosting a battle of the bands and playing in it.
   Episode 4 is based around Strong Bad's homemade movie: Dangeresque 3,
   which is similar to an action movie. The final episode shows Strong
   Bad accidentally merging the 8 bit and real worlds together and having
   to take down Trogdor.

           GAMEPLAY
________________________________

Q: I'm lost where do I go?
A: Try opening the map and seeing if any new locations are avaliable to
   travel to. If not, try talking to people about what's going on. Are
   you trying to get into the race? Strong Bad may not be able to race
   himself but there is a way to get him into it without Coach Z noticing.
   Is someone stuck in your house? Try thinking about what he's worrying
   about and what you can do to fix it. If all else fails, turn on hints
   to heavy and sit around until Strong Bad talks, then check the guide
   to see how to accomplish it.

Q: I can't beat the FCUTRER in under 16 seconds! How?
A: Make sure you use Strong Bad's abilities to their best...by cheating!
   For the log, make sure you've used the Jela-Ton. For the weight, make
   sure you've put the balloons on it. Make sure you've rearranged the
   hurdles so that they go from hardest to easiest. If you've done all that
   then just keep practicing until you get it. It's not too difficult.

Q: I'm stuck on Teen Girl Squad! How do I get a perfect score?
A: Check the section under Minigames.

Q: It's impossible to knock out 15 snakes in a row on Snake Boxer 5.
A: No it's not. It's actually quite easy if you use the code found on the
   Snake Boxer 5 manual. It's Up, Up, Down, Up, Start. For more help,
   check the section under Minigames.

Q: I can see the Chef's Hat but can't get it! What gives?
A: You can't get the Chef's Hat until extended play for some reason.

Q: I kicked The Cheat into the dryer but I didn't get the Public Nusance
   Trophy.
A: Make sure that you talk to him when he's in the dryer or it won't count.

Q: I'm trying to prank call ______________ but they're not appearing on
   the list.
A: You can't be in the same area as the person you're prank calling. For
   example, if you try prank calling The Cheat while you're at Strong
   House it won't show up. Homsar doesn't show up until after everyone
   else has been prank called.

Q: Oops, I forgot to prank call ___________. Can I still do it?
A: You can prank call anyone as long as you haven't given your phone back
   to Homestar yet. If you have or you're in extended play you're
   unfortunately out of luck and have to start over to get 100%.

Q: What's extended play?
A: Extended Play is simply the ability to play the game after the ending.
   There's nothing new storywise, but you can go around and get the stuff
   you've missed, wear costumes outside of the photo booth, etc. It's
   unlocked after you beat the game. Simply load the autosave and you'll be
   in Extended Play.

Q: I can't talk to ____________ anymore to get the obscure trophy!
A: Don't worry. You'll be able to talk to everyone in extended play and most
   of the time simply talking to them will give you the progress needed
   towards the trophy.

Q: How do I fix the Trogdor game?
A: You can't unfortunately it remains broken till later in the series.

Q: Hey! My game keeps freezing! Help!
A: This is a common glitch in the Wii version. Go into your settings and
   change the resolution to 4:3 and turn off progressive scan mode.

Q: You forgot about something/something is wrong with the guide. How can
   I get in touch with you?
A: Check the intro on how to contact me as well as rules.

Q: Can I e-mail you this uber cheat?
A: No, the only "cheat" for this game is the one found on the last page of the
   Snake Boxer 5 manual and it's already in the guide.

Q: Your guide is awesome! Can I host it?
A: No, you may not. This guide is only to be hosted on www.gamefaqs.com and
   its affiliate www.gamespot.com.

Q: When will you upload the next video in the series?
A: All five episodes are currently uploaded on Youtube and should be under the
   Video Walkthrough section.

Q: You know that you forgot to talk to The Cheat in the dryer on your video
   right?
A: Yes I am aware of that and it has been corrected in part 4.

Q: Is it safe to assume that you'll be covering the next 4 episodes of the
   series?
A: Yes. The video walkthroughs are up on Youtube and have been finished for
   several years. The text walkthroughs are complete, aside from EP5, which
   will be done when I finish it to my standards.

Q: You suck.
A: I know I don't even need to vacuum anymore but thanks for the observation.

Q: Do you have any other contributed works?
A: For a complete list of my published walkthroughs and reviews, visit
