First... to make the pot boil, you need to put a rock on the fire. (Rocks are at the bottom of the bridge leading up to the research area) Then you need to fill the pot with salt water. There are pots at the right hand side of the screen by the ocean at the top of the beach. (if you want fresh water for stews, the pots are by the stream where the blockage is). Once the rock is hot you can bring it to the pot of water. You need to make sure you have cutting tools. (drag a villager onto the fish skeleton on the beach) The next part you need to have level 2 learning. Drag a villager onto the vines that are directly north of your campfire. The villager will then go get a cutting tool and cut some vines and bring it back to the cooking table... Once you have vines cut and on the table, and boiling salt water, you can drag a villager to the table with the vines on it to start cooking. Once it finishes, get a villager to take the cloth pulp, and set several of the pounding the pulp into cloth. They will keep trying to wander off, so watch them carefully and keep dropping them onto where the cloth is being made.

By the way, You can't put the rock under the pot until you have water in it, and it's best to have you vines ready to go because the water will only boil for so long.

The only problem with the solution to "Drag a villager onto the vines that are directly north of your campfire. The villager will then go get a cutting tool and cut some vines and bring it back to the cooking table..." is that when I do that they keep saying "confused. don't know what to do with these vines." I have achieved level 2 learning. So what am I missing?

The Clothing Hut is required to make cloth because that is where you store the cloth for use.

To boil water, get salt of fresh water(Do this first). After that get a rock from the bridge at the left(the bridge that goes to the lab.).And the villager will get a rock and put it to the fire.He will heat the rock. After that if the rock is red or orange. It is Finished.Drag a villager to the rock and He will put the rock to the pot. That is how to solve puzzle #3.I am Happy to help you.

For Making Cloth

First You need lvl 2 Science. After you upgrade the tech you will see a broken hut that have clothes.Have it built until it is finished. After that cut pulpy vines(at the top of the wood and dry leaves).Just drag your villager and he will get the cutting tool. After that boil salt water. Then Cook it.Then spread the cloth pulp and then pound it.One pound=10%.It is fast to be finished and that is it.I am happy to help you.

Good Luck.
