    Welcome to this Assassins Creed Brotherhood Guide. This guide was written based
    on the PS3 version of the game. It should also be applicable to the Xbox 360 
    version. Inside the guide you will find a full walkthrough covering every 
    story mission and secondary mission. The strategies for these missions are 
    proven to work. Also included will be a several sections describing peripheral 
    tasks. These include the shops, Borgia Towers, and faction missions. I do not
    claim to be an expert on the game. My approach for the guide was to attempt 
    stealth strategies whenever possible. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a 
    pleasurable experience and hopefully with the aid of this guide any in game
    frustration will be minimized.

    -Buy the Crossbow as soon as you have collected enough money. It is an
     invaluable tool that will make Ezio's adventures much easier.
    
    -Recruit and upgrade Assassins early and often. Seek out and overtake the 
     Borgia towers so that you have more Recruits. Regular visits to Pigeon Coops
     and/or Assassin Headquarters will be of benefit in the long run.
    
    -Though it can be cumbersome to use at times the map (and mini-map) is a very
     helpful tool.

    Movement
    --------
    
    Ezio's movements are of two primary types low profile and high profile. Low
    profile movements such as walking, blending into groups, and sitting on a
    bench will keep Ezio from being noticed by guards. High profile movements,
    however will draw attention to Ezio. These type of movements include: running,
    using a weapon, climbing, and entering restricted areas. Perform high profile
    movements to a great extent or in the wrong places and guards will seek Ezio
    and attempt to kill him. The key to being safe is to know your surroundings as
    well as what and how much you can get away with before being seen. Watch for
    chevrons that are filling with yellow. This means that an enemy is aware of 
    Ezio. The chevron fills with color the more Ezio is noticed. Ezio is relatively
    safe as long as the symbol does not turn red. The red color indicates a guard
    is on high alert and will attempt to pursue and attack Ezio.
    
    
    Combat
    ------
    
    The square button is the primary attack button. Depending on the context, Ezio
    can perform several moves with this single button being pressed. The key to 
    quick and efficient combat is the counter. If you hold R1 and time a tap of
    Square as an enemy attacks, Ezio will block an attack then counter it with an
    instant kill. Once the kill is made Ezio can then switch focus to another 
    enemy for a string of quick kills. Enemy after enemy can be quickly killed as
    long as Ezio is not interrupted by an attack or he runs out of enemies.
    
    The best kind of kill though is the one the enemy does not see coming. If
    facing an individual, Ezio can quietly kill using his hidden blade, throwing
    knives, or the Crossbow.

    For those just entering the Assassin's Creed world the game begins with a quick
    synopsis of the story. That includes a brief button press sequence where square
    should be repeatedly tapped. The ANIMUS pulls Desmond away from his ancestor 
    (netting you a trophy) and we gain control of Ezio in the same position as the 
    end of Assassin's Creed 2. Move forward to activate another cinematic
    
    Ezio's uncle Mario appears. Experiment with Eagle Vision by holding Triangle.
    Move to the wall and initiate a climb by pressing R1 and X. Move to the top of
    the wall and listen to the conversation between Ezio and Mario. When the talk 
    is over follow Mario to the next cinematic. Push you way through the monks and 
    continue to follow Mario. He leads Ezio to a door and states we should be ready
    to fight. Fend off the guards on the other side by attacking with Square, 
    Kicking with X, grabbing with Circle, and countering with a well timed 
    combination of R1 and Square.
    
    After the battle Mario takes off again. The objective remains to follow Ezio's 
    uncle through the town. As he turns a corner down a narrow alley be prepared to 
    fight a couple of guards. Mario then moves to the rooftops. Climb after him and 
    Ezio will move gracefully from roof to roof if you press and hold R1 and X. 
    Once Mario exits the rooftops, more guards attack. Dispatch them quickly then 
    continue behind Mario. He leads Ezio to the top of a tower and a cinematic. As 
    the ANIMUS changes the scene, read the notes on screen for gameplay tips.

    Ezio is now on horseback and still following Mario. Once Ezio reunites with his
    sister Claudia inside Monteriggioni, three memory markers appear on the mini-
    map. The closest one is behind the tailor.

    A lady is having trouble with a crate of flowers. Press Triangle to talk to her 
    then circle to lift the box. Carry the following behind the lady. Listen to the 
    interesting conversation between the "romantic" Ezio and damsel in distress. 
    Once the crate is delivered move to the marker just outside the gate.

    Ezio finds a man that is fearful of punishment from Mario. Help the man by 
    locating the lost horse. It will race by as indicated by a blue marker on the 
    mini-map. Race over to the horse and press Circle to mount. Ride it back to the 
    stables to end the mission. The final marker appears to be outside the gates 
    but in fact is on the large wall protecting the town.

    Move back into the town limits and find the nearby lift to the left. Once on 
    the roof find a second lift that will raise Ezio to the top of the wall. Find 
    the men near the cannon. It is not working properly. Move to the blue marker on 
    the mini-map to find the engineer that installed the weapon. He is "resting" 
    inside a tower on the town's wall. Once found follow the engineer back to the 
    cannon. After the cannon is repaired, practice firing it. Move to the cannon 
    and press Circle to activate it. A light circle with a vertical line appears on 
    screen. This allows Ezio to aim his shot. Destroy five of the targets below 
    then move to the villa and enter.

    When the cinematic ends, move up stairs and enter the room with the shiny door.
    After a delightful "cleansing", Ezio and company are rudely interrupted by a 
    cannonball tearing through the room.

    Race through Monteriggioni to reach the town's wall. Begin to climb the ladder 
    only to have it destroyed. Continue up rubble and go left to locate the cannon. 
    The goal is to destroy the enemy cannons to buy time for the townspeople to 
    escape. If the town is destroyed before the  citizen evacuate its restart from 
    checkpoint. The key is to fire the cannon between the tightly group enemy 
    artillery destroying multiple targets. Move from right to left destroying the 
    cannons. I stopped in the center and fired three shots at the large wall-like 
    structure "charging" the town before moving to the cannons on the left. Before 
    I had the opportunity to destroy all of those cannons a cinematic destroys 
    Ezio's weapon. Move to the other cannon and continue to fire.
    
    Once the citizens have escaped the battle moves to another portion of the wall.
    Ezio must fight back the invading soldiers using his sword. Once they are dealt
    with two larger more heavily armored enemies appear. Use the kick function (X)
    during the fight to break their guard then attack.

    The scene shifts to Ezio's uncle below. The cinematic ends and Ezio has help. 
    Fight through the enemies with the aid of your comrades to the Villa. Claudia 
    is under attack. Defeat the nearby soldiers and follow her to the back of the 
    Villa killing as many enemies as you can along the way. Run down the stairs to 
    reunite with Ezio's mom and Claudia. The first memory sequence is complete.
    
    The game shifts away from Ezio and to Desmond. Once the cinematics end follow 
    the apparition to an alternate entrance. The lights will come on. Desmond and 
    Lucy can now continue down the corridor. More apparitions appear. Pull the 
    lever next to the gate so Lucy can pass. Once she is across climb the wall and 
    continue forward until you reunite. Move deeper into the tunnel until Lucy 
    thinks the wall is not climbable. Use a duo of lifts following the tunnel path 
    until Desmond and Lucy arrive at another gate. Pull the lever and this time the 
    gate opens allowing Lucy to pass. She finds a switch that opens a door above. 
    Climb onto the crates and up the wall. Jump to the distant ledge and find the 
    apparition. Hold any button to release a platform for Lucy. Jump into the water
    (thats right Master Assassin Altair could not swim, but Desmond can) and use 
    the "ladder" Lucy provides to reach the next area. Climb the boards next to 
    Lucy and shimmy to Desmond's left. Drop below and pull the lever.  Move to the 
    next lift and rise. The bridge is out and the gap is to great to jump. Lucy has 
    an idea though. Her plan worked.
    
    
    Further into the tunnel the duo arrive at a set of stairs leading to a door. 
    Ignore the stairs and enter the hole in the wall. Find the next lever above and 
    release a bridge for Lucy. Throw her again. Then jump across. Move down the 
    ladder and up the subsequent wall to activate another lever for Lucy. Is it 
    just me or are we doing all the work here. One final girl toss and Desmond has 
    arrived at the sanctuary. Go up the stairs and activate Eagle vision to see 
    some numbers on the wall. Press any button to open the door for the others.
    
    Go up the stairs to exit the Villa. To provide enough juice to properly operate 
    the ANIMUS Desmond needs to find and reconnect 4 Power Rerouters. The first is 
    located next to the door just exited. Now continue around the building to the 
    right and pass by the large covered drain. The next power box is on the 
    building at the bottom of the stairs. The next two are below the main entrance 
    to the Villa. One is at the bottom of the stairs on the Bank while the last is 
    just by the bank across from a small red car. The ANIMUS is now ready for 
    operations. Desmond has the option to talk to each of his friends before 
    entering the device.

    Once Ezio enters the ANIMUS, we get a quick preview of the Virtual Training 
    program. Try to kill as many consecutive enemies as possible. After more ANIMUS 
    discussion we are back in control of Ezio. The effects of the raid on 
    Monterggioni are still with Ezio. Move down the stairs behind the building at 
    Ezio's back and find the Doctor. Once healed climb to the top of the church and 
    press Triangle to synchronize/open the map. The leap of faith places Ezio in a 
    hay stack next to some guards that have trouble on their minds.  Follow them 
    and defeat them when they stop.

    A new memory marker appears on the mini-map. A man is mourning the death of a 
    loved one. It appears she was killed by the rope. Il Carnefice has warned the 
    man to leave the woman hanging or face the consequences. Move to the top of the 
    hill and approach the target. Move to the roof of the building and activate 
    Eagle Vision. Il Carnefice is the one outlined in yellow. Hit L1 to lock onto 
    the target. Watch for the Assassinate option to appear in the upper right 
    corner. Once it does you are over your target and can leap down for the kill. 
    With Il Carnefice dead the nearby guards will attack.Pull out a sword and 
    defend yourself until the guards are dead or the mission is complete and Ezio 
    can walk away. Alternatively, Ezio can attempt to escape and become anonymous 
    by hiding. Either way the mission will end when there is no more danger to the 
    Assassin.

    Next, meet up with Machiavelli. As you follow Machiavelli, he stops in front of 
    a Blacksmith and gives Ezio some money to purchase some equipment. Buy the 
    Stiletto and Roman Spaulders. Machiavelli will begin to move again continue to 
    follow and listen until led to a Borgia stronghold. Inside the area of Borgia
    influence there will be a captain. The goal is to kill the Borgia captain 
    inside.
    
    Once Ezio enters an area of red like this, the guards will immediately be 
    suspicious. Climb the wall at the front gate and look for numerous birds flying
    overhead. Ascend the tower the birds circle and utilize Eagle Vision to open 
    more of the map. Leap from the perch to the hay below. The Borgia captain is in
    sight. He is protected by a couple of guards while he paces under an enclosed 
    arch. Jump from the hay and eliminate the two guards quickly. A couple more 
    enemies that are on patrol may appear as well. Once it is just Ezio and the 
    Captain, attempt to grab the enemy (tap Circle) and push him into the nearby
    scaffolding. Once the Captain is dead return to Machiavelli. Though you have
    defeated some Borgia support the message is not clear. Climb back up to the 
    tower and set it a blaze by entering the room at the top and pressing circle.
    With the mission complete walk over to the stable and examine it. This 
    renovation will be at no cost.

    Now that horses are available from this stable, mount up and follow 
    Machiavelli. During the subsequent cinematic some of Ezio's possessions are
    "misplaced". Race after the thief and when close press R1 and Circle to tackle
    him. Ezio automatically retrieves the stolen goods. Move toward the marker on
    the mini-map to reunite with Machiavelli.

    Follow Machiavelli to the Colosseum. Upon arrival a cinematic shows the contact
    we are looking for being hassled by Borgia guards. Fight off the guards then
    immediately give chase to the courier in possession of the important mail. 
    Tackle the courier as soon as possible then return to Machiavelli (mini-map
    marker).

    While attempting to deliver the letter Ezio walks into a trap. The Followers of
    Romulus attack in large numbers. Fend off all the enemies and enter their lair
    just ahead. The entrance is a small covered opening in the nearby wall.

    Climb the broken column directly in front of Ezio. At the top to a push off
    side jump to the right, then jump to the wall and move right. Find the lever
    and interact with it. The central pool begins to fill with water. Use the wall
    to shimmy to the opposite corner and pull a second lever to add more water to
    the central pool. Return to the initial broken column that Ezio climbed. This 
    time at the top perform the push off jump to the left. At the top of this next 
    column jump to the broken platform ahead to find two more levers at opposite 
    corners. Each of these levers also add more water to the central pool. So much 
    water in fact, that when all four spouts are releasing water the weak floor of 
    the pool collapses.
    
    Drop through the floor and enter the the open gate to the south (its the only 
    path that is not a dead end). Once through the gate go right and climb onto the 
    pedestal. From the pedestal Ezio should be able to jump to the bricks near the 
    ceiling on the wall. Move to the right and exit above the gate. Continue to the
    right until Ezio can perform a push jump across the open arch. Swing over the 
    next gate and find the next pedestal to climb. Jump to the wooden beam then 
    swing over to the next. Jump over the gate using the hanging ornament to swing 
    to the next beam. Jump across and swing over the next gate. Ezio has arrived at
    his goal, so activate the lever next to the door.
    
    The ground is blazing so the path across must be aerial. Look for a broken 
    column to the right and climb up. Push jump to the central statue. Now jump 
    over the statue's head to the beam on the other side of the room. Climb the 
    wall and move to Ezio's right. When across from the next statue push jump to 
    it's extended arm. Run across the arm and jump to the opposite wall. Move a 
    little to Ezio's left and drop below. Find the next broken column. Use it to 
    reach the climbable portion of wall on the left. Pull up to the platform and 
    run up the "steps" to jump onto the ledge ahead. Continue around and push jump
    to the other side. Turn the corner and push jump again to the pole. Swing to 
    the broken blocks of stone and leap over the gate to view a cinematic.
    
    When the cinematic ends, find the broken column along the wall on the other 
    side of the room. Climb it to enter over the gate. Move around the corner and 
    locate the pedestal near the next gate. Climb it and jump to the blocks on the 
    wall. Then push jump to the opposite wall and head toward the gate. As Ezio 
    moves through the opening over the gate part of the wall will crumble. At this 
    time he states, "Now I can get back up here." Continue around to the rings and 
    climb to the top one. Push jump to the central column. Climb it and move to 
    Ezio's left. Push jump to the wooden pole then swing over the next gate. Ezio 
    should now be entering the area we saw during the cinematic.
    
    On the distant wall sits a throne. Move to it and grab the ledge over it. Move 
    to the left and climb the column attached to the second wooden beam. Continue 
    moving in this direction until you reach the long stone walkway Ezio can run 
    across. At the end of the stone walkway created by the arch connecting two 
    columns will be another wooden beam to the right attached to the primary wall 
    of the room. Jump to this beam and continue to move around. Ezio will jump to a 
    column that breaks. This broken column will make it easier to reach this point 
    if Ezio falls. Grab the outer wall and move to Ezio's left. Using the beams 
    ahead arrive at the second balcony (its broken). From this balcony jump towards 
    the center landing on the stone walkway created by another arch. Jump to the 
    next column and it will topple. Ezio will say, "Perfect, a route up if I fall."
    
    Leap straight ahead and move toward Ezio's left. The goal is the balcony above 
    where the throne sits. Inside this room will be several treasure chests to loot 
    providing an adequate supply of money and tomatoes. The chest in the back-
    center of the room contains the Scroll of Romulus 1.

    We have taken it and set it back, behind the iron door. Six keys unlock it, 
    spread amongst our brothers. It shall be said to come from Romulus, and they 
    will worship it.
    
    Exit through the now open ceiling hatch to finish the memory.
    
    The information in Ezio's possession is encrypted. Follow Machiavelli to 
    hopefully find some assistance. Enter the tunnels to fast travel to Tiber 
    Island Hideout. As you can see most of the other options require renovations 
    before they are available.

    Three new memory markers appear on the mini-map. They can be identified by 
    location in regards to Ezio's hideout when looking at the map in the pause 
    menu. The three markers are located to the North, East, and South.

    Head toward the marker on the mini-map outlined in yellow to meet La Volpe at
    the market. He is not on the market grounds. Instead he hides on the roof of a 
    nearby building. During the cinematic, a group of thieves attack the Borgia. A
    young thief is injured and in danger of death. Drop below and attack the 
    archers to save the young thief. 
    
    With the archers eliminated Ezio and Claudio must reunite with La Volpe. Blend 
    in with the crowd to avoid the guards and walk toward the marker. Claudio is 
    now safe but Ezio is far from it. The local guards are still on high alert. We 
    must lose our notoriety. Just as in Assassin's Creed 2 there are actions Ezio 
    can take to reduce notoriety. They include removing Wanted posters, bribing 
    heralds, and killing officials. The game instructs you to perform one of each 
    of the tasks in order to fully remove Ezio's notoriety. There is a poster, 
    herald, and official nearby that will allow for completion of the task. 
    Alternatively, you can repeat any one of the notoriety reducers so long as 
    three are performed. Now that Ezio is anonymous again move to the blue marker 
    and speak with La Volpe. Talk to the architect to renovate the Thieves Guild. 
    The inn like appearance will provide the perfect cover. Don't you wish all 
    contractors worked so quickly.

    Next we will move to the Eastern marker. Bartolomeo D'Alviano could use some 
    assistance. Once the introduction to the mission ends a Borgia Captain will be 
    running away. Ignore everyone else and chase after the Captain. As Ezio 
    approaches the fleeing Borgia be prepared to attack. Eliminate the Captain and 
    move toward the tower. The tower is well at the front. The rear of the tower 
    accessed via the river is not guarded at all. Jump into the water to avoid the 
    guards and climb to the top of the tower. Ignite the tower then return to D' 
    Alyiano and renovate the barracks to end the mission.

    It appears that we need 2500 in currency to free the captive. After raiding the
    Shrine of Romulus it is likely Ezio already has enough. If more funds are 
    required Ezio can move through town picking pockets (hold X as you walk by 
    civilians) until enough money is obtained. Head toward the marker to meet with 
    the slave traders. Ezio provides the funds but the slave traders do not fulfill 
    their end of the bargain (we can't be too surprised they are slave traders 
    after all). Eliminate everyone on the ship then return to the Rosa in Fiore. 
    The marker is on a balcony near the roof of the building.
    
    After the cinematic, talk to the architect to renovate the Rosa Fiore with
    2500 f taken from the slave traders. The architect is at the front of the 
    building. Renovating the brothel will allow Courtesans to have a more prominent 
    presence in Rome, aiding in the fight against the Borgia.

    Machiavelli has the names of several Templar agents. It appears (at least as of 
    now) La Volpe was wrong. Machiavelli is an ally. Once the meeting of the minds 
    ends talk to the architect standing inside the hideout. He will briefly explain 
    the renovation process. This completes Memory Sequence 3.

    There is a bridge to the left that Ezio could cross in an attempt to reach the 
    Castel Sant'Angelo. It is likely that path would arouse the suspicion of the 
    guards. Instead move straight ahead and go down the ladder. Jump across the 
    boards sticking out of the water to reach the structure's outer wall. You 
    should be able to see a white spiral marker on the platform attached to the 
    wall. Jump onto the wall and move toward the platform. Stay behind one of the 
    taller blocks to avoid the patrolling guards sight. As the guard moves away 
    from Ezio toward the left jump over the wall and enter the hay. Wait there 
    patiently. Watch the movement of the guards. The nearby patrolling guard will 
    eventually investigate the hay. Target him with L1 then as he approaches wait 
    for the Assassinate option to be available. Once it is attack, killing the 
    guard silently and without detection. Exit the hay and target the guard that 
    patrols the back of the area. Hit him with a throwing knife then hide behind 
    the central column. Target the final guard (near the ladder) and eliminate him 
    with another throwing knife. Loot the guard's bodies to retrieve the knives 
    thrown then climb the ladder.
    
    Listen to the conversation below, then climb the wall to Ezio's right. At the 
    top assassinate the guard near the ledge. Two more guards will patrol the area 
    to the right. One is visible on a nearby roof while the second is around the 
    corner to the right. Climb over the wall and fortunately we are moving to the 
    left away from the two guards. Around the next corner Ezio will see four Borgia 
    having a conference on the walkway. Move over the ledge to the next marker to 
    avoid them. On the balcony directly below Ezio a guard will patrol the area. 
    Target the enemy and wait for the Assassinate option to be active. Leap down 
    and eliminate the guard.
    
    Find the next marker on the mini-map and look in that direction as you move 
    across the wooden beams. You should notice two stationary guards on the ground
    and a duo of patrolmen on the nearby rooftops. Hang on the edge of the roof the 
    nearest guard patrols. He will approach the edge giving Ezio a great 
    opportunity for an assassination. As the guard falls to his death this pulls 
    the stationary ground Borgia to the bodies location. Pull up onto the roof and 
    move to the corner out of site of the 2nd rooftop guard. Climb to the marker 
    then eliminate the remaining patrolman. 
    
    Cross the rope to the wall. Climb it initially to the left only to gain access 
    to a higher set of hand grips. Once as high as Ezio an go begin to move back to 
    the right. The next marker is on a small roof near a window. Once there Ezio 
    overhears a conversation inside. When the talk ends continue around the outside 
    of the wall, cautiously jumping from pole to pole. At this height one missed 
    jump is instant death. When you get to the last wooden beam a message about 
    "Catch Back" will appear on screen. Perform the maneuver by tapping then 
    holding circle. Ezio should fall and grab hold of the wooden beam below during 
    his descent. If successful, Ezio will be hanging from the beam as the gate 
    ahead opens.
    
    Pull up onto the wooden beam and grab the hand holds on the wall. Move to the 
    right and utilize the Catch Back move to lower Ezio then continue to the right 
    until he can climb up to the next two markers. At the second marker another 
    cinematic begins. Continue the climb up through the subsequent markers until 
    arriving on the roof. Look to the left to locate the patrolling guard. Take him 
    out (assassination or throwing knife) then continue to the other side of the 
    roof. Another guard is patrolling here. When he turns his back eliminate him as 
    well. Look in the courtyard below for another Borgia patrol. This guard can be 
    killed with an assassination or throwing knife as well.
    
    Move through the open door and down the stairs. Take the only right in the 
    hall. At the bottom of the stairs be prepared for a single guard to pass by. 
    Quickly assassinate or toss a knife to go undetected. Move through the 
    checkpoint and up the stairs. Two guards are walking toward the cell containing 
    Caterina quickly eliminate them to enter the next memory.

    At the beginning of this Memory, you should get a message about new e-mails in 
    your inbox. You have the option to leave the Animus to check the messages if 
    you like. Desmond can even get more story details by talking to the others 
    hiding out at the Villa.
    
    When back in the ANIMUS (or if you never left), move back down stairs away from 
    the cells. When you arrive at the part where you can continue down the stairs 
    or go up, go up. At the top turn right (away from the door you entered from) 
    and go up the stairs. Below you here Lucrezia talking with a mail suitor. Climb 
    the wall away from where they are sitting and near the top the pigeons will fly 
    away startling the would be couple. Move forward and confront Lucrezia.
    
    She will scream for some guards to protect her. They will enter but are no 
    match for Ezio's blade. When the initial group is defeated another set will 
    enter. Defeat them all then approach Lucrezia. Press Circle to restrain her. 
    Ezio will pick her up and hold his hidden blade close to her throat. On 
    occasion she may flail and set herself free. Just chase her down and restrain 
    her again. With her in arms begin the journey back to Caterina's cell. Along 
    the way more guards will attack. Simply drop Lucrezia and fight them off. When 
    the path is clear grab her again to continue. It can be very annoying to 
    release Lucrezia to defeat guards once you arrive at the stairs, because you 
    will have to chase her all the way to the beginning of the trip only to have 
    her fight free a couple times before you arrive at the release point again. I 
    did not have a problem retrieving her during any of the fights so as of now I'm 
    not sure if she can actually escape or if she would just circle the starting 
    point as she did before.

    As the memory begins two guards approach the cells. One will stop at the top of 
    the stairs while the other stays at the bottom of the stairs. Run to the side 
    of the door way and place Caterina on the ground. Assassinate the near guard 
    with the hidden blade then either race to the second guard for more of the same 
    or toss a knife at him. Retrieve Caterina and move forward. As you reach the 
    marker you should see a guard race by. He stops at the bottom of the stairs. 
    Drop Caterina then go assassinate the guard. The path diverges. Ezio has the 
    option of going right or left. Unfortunately, a guard patrols both paths and 
    has a chance to see Ezio. Before returning to Caterina clear out the two guards 
    that are walking up the opposite paths. Ezio has two options to take them out.
    Option 1 is to quickly eliminate the guard to the left then race back to the 
    stairs and wait for the guard on the right. It is likely Ezio will be seen but 
    not detected by the second guard. Option 2 is safer. After killing the guard at
    the bottom of the stairs wait for the other patrol to cross by each other then 
    sneak behind them for the executions.
    
    Pick up Caterina then move down the stairs turning right at the bottom. There 
    will be a doorway at the bottom of the ramp just before you arrive at the 
    closed door. Inside the room is an opening in the floor protected by a single 
    guard with his back turned. I believe you should know what to do. Move to the 
    opening and Ezio will "assist Caterina to the bottom. Once in the hay watch for 
    and an approaching enemy. Assassinate him from the hay to avoid detection. Exit 
    and stand hidden at the next doorway. A guard will pass by. When he turns his 
    back to leave step out and kill him quietly.
    
    Enter the hall and turn right at the end. Ezio should see a single guard with 
    his back turned standing in front of the path out. Eliminate him and go 
    outside. Two gates block the path out. If you carry Caterina to the gates the 
    two cranks that open the barricades will be revealed.  Some of the guards from 
    this point in may not be present if you were thorough about eliminating the 
    Borgia forces on the way in. First lets go to the right. Quietly eliminate the 
    guard near the crank then interact with it to open the gate. Move to the other 
    side watching for a guard on a roof above the crank's location. The guard is 
    easily eliminated by climbing the side of the building. Turn the crank to open 
    the second gate. Now return to Caterina so you can exit the Castello.

    Ride out behind Caterina. Once across the bridge Ezio dismounts to provide 
    Caterina with enough time to escape. Fight of the guards for the next 1:30. The 
    best way to survive is to stay on the defensive with R1 & Square to counter an 
    attack. Once the kill is made Ezio can shift to other enemies for one hit 
    kills. A distraction is created by explosions at the Castel. When the cinematic 
    ends run escape. Break the line of sight of the guards by climbing a building 
    or turning a quick corner. Once the line of sight is broken check out the mini-
    map for a hiding spot. Once hidden the memory ends. Exit the hiding spot and 
    reduce your notoriety.

    Ezio knows how to start a revolt. If you want those in charge out of power then 
    go to the people. If the people are on your side the odds of victory are much 
    greater. Two new markers appear on the map. At each of the locations a citizen 
    of Roma is under duress. Help each potential recruit by eliminating the small 
    group of Borgia guards causing the problem. Once the guards are gone talk to 
    the citizen and they will join the cause.

    At the next memory marker a young woman is distraught over the loss of a 
    friend. Malfatto enjoys preying on the women of Roma. Follow the cues from the
    Courtesans to locate the target. When Malfatto is in sight (red marker on the 
    mini-map) target him and call in the Assassins by tapping L2. The recruit will 
    perform the killing for Ezio and we receive full synchronization for this 
    memory.

    A young boy is at the docks crying. His mom is being taken away. Ezio agrees to 
    help. Move toward the green marker on the map. As Ezio approaches the marker 
    disappears and a green circle appears. Somewhere inside the range of the circle 
    is the target. Activate Eagle Vision to find Sabbatini. He will be indicated by 
    a yellow outline. Once he is found follow him to the captured slaves while 
    remaining undetected. Do not follow the target too closely. Several times 
    during the trip he will stop and turn around as if looking for danger. If Ezio 
    is spotted and Sabbatini becomes suspicious the mission will be compromised. 
    When Sabatinni stops for good to talk with a woman, target him and call in the 
    Assassin recruit. Once the slave trader is dead the surrounding Borgia will 
    attack. Help the recruits by killing the guards. 
    
    In order to manage your recruits, Ezio must find a pigeon coop. Fortunately, 
    there just happens to be one nearby (green marker). Move to the coop and 
    interact with it. You should get some messages:
    
         -You just recruited a new potential Assassin, Primo Penna has been added   
          to your Assassins Guild.
         -You have been awarded a new Assassin signal. A new Signal is awarded for
          the first, fourth, and sixth Recruit added to the Assassins Guild. 
          Signals are subtracted when Recruits die or are sent away on contracts.
         -You just received a new potential Assassin, Bettina Aliotti has been 
          added to your Assassins Guild.

    Once Ezio reaches this memory marker, a whispering voice requests his presence 
    "Over Here". There is a box around the corner that will be highlighted. 
    Approach it and talk with a potential ally that has infiltrated the Borgia. 
    Leonardo Da Vinci is back. He draws a diagram on the nearby bench. Interact 
    with it and a Gadgets menu will open. If you have enough money feel free to 
    purchase whatever you like.

    Visit the Rosa in Fiore and talk with Ezio's mom to begin the memory. Claudia 
    at the nearby counter will initiate the next step.
    Exit the brothel and head toward the green marker. Once there move up the 
    stairs and look in the alley to the right of the large building marked with a 
    feather. After the cinematic move in to aid the senator. The death of the three 
    Borgia guards will initiate a cinematic. Walk the senator to the new marker 
    attempting to avoid any guards along the way. If you happen to be detected 
    simply kill the Borgia before they kill the senator. Ezio can actually have the 
    senator wait at a certain location, scout the area, then call for him. I have 
    not figured out a path that will lead to a successful Full Synchronization. As 
    of the initial posting of this guide. My strategy was to simply fight off any 
    guards encountered.

    In order to access this memory, Ezio must have 3000f in his possession. Once 
    you have the money talk to the senator to start the mission. Travel to the
    marker to witness the Senator handing the money to some Borgia guards. As Ezio
    proceeds he will encounter some rooftop guards. Keep an eye out for red dots on
    the mini-map as a warning to their presence. Ezio must also keep a relatively 
    close distance from the guards with the money. If he falls too far behind a 
    timer appears on screen. You have that amount of time to close the gap or risk
    restarting the mission.
    
    After eavesdropping on the meeting their will be a guard to eliminate on the 
    very next rooftop. The next guard will not appear until after the money passes
    through the courtyard with the statue. Be patient here the guard is often at
    the opposite end of the roof. Being careless here can frequently cause 
    detection. Once by this guard the next one is just over the next large roof.
    The money will then be carried near the docks but not reach them. Instead, they 
    turn back into the city and pass through a second courtyard with a large 
    statue. The next guard will be shortly after this. The rest of the way should
    be fairly safe until the group reaches its final destination.
    
    
    When the cinematic ends the money is being moved inside the Pantheon. Go to the
    rear of the structure and climb to the top. Find the marker to continue the 
    memory. The goal is to kill the guard below without being detected. Step over
    the ledge and hang off the side. Look for the small yellow nodules that can be 
    used for hand grips. Climb down slowly dropping only when safe. Once Ezio 
    reaches the floor walk up to the guard and stab him with the hidden blade. The
    memory ends.

    Ezio in disguise should walk ahead of the remaining guards. In this mission you
    will be leading the way to the Banker. Of course, we have no idea who the
    banker is or where he is located. Take verbal cues from the guards to know you
    are going the correct direction. If you hear any statements that seem to 
    question your authority or chosen path stop, turn around and try a different 
    route.

    Exit and hire the Courtesans just outside and walk them through the streets in
    pursuit of the guards carrying the chest. If you are detected the memory ends
    and Ezio must restart at a checkpoint. Hiring the Courtesans will allow Ezio to
    move through the streets undetected by the Borgia. At the end of the street
    there will be a line of guards that will be difficult to pass. Ask the girls to
    distract these guards then move to the other side of the street to hire another
    set of Courtesans. While the line of guards are distracted use these Courtesans
    to pass by. Pause at the bottom of the stairs to read the message that the
    chest is changing hands.
    
    Continue to use this set of Courtesans as cover until reaching the next. Soon
    after passing by these new Courtesans a cinematic will reveal the Banker. When
    the cinematic ends hire the new set of ladies and enter the area protected by 
    the next set of guards. Use the ladies to follow the Banker. If the ladies
    ladies leave you and Borgia are near, do not forget how useful calling in your
    Assassins can be. The strike quickly and usually without detection. If you 
    successfully follow the Banker you are rewarded with another cinematic.
    
    The cinematic ends and Ezio is next to a wagon of hay. Directly in front of the
    wagon is a guard. I think you can guess what the best approach is (here is a
    hint do not walk by the guard). Borgia are stationed all around the courtyard.
    There is a group of Courtesans in the corner to the left but they can be 
    difficult to walk to. Instead climb the wall to the left of the hay wagon. Once 
    on the other side move into the courtyard and quickly hire the ladies for 
    cover. Move to the south and find a bench where Ezio can sit. With the ladies
    hiding Ezio it should be simple. While sitting on the bench wait for the Banker
    to pass by then perform a stealth assassination. When the assassination
    cinematic ends, leap over the wall behind the bench and shimmy to the right.
    Locate the hay below. Once it is found, climb back up to the ledge and utilize
    a Leap of Faith. Exit the hay and climb to the roof of the small building to 
    the left. Move across its roof and once Ezio exits the yellow circle on the 
    mini-map the memory ends.

    successive gate. A cinematic will show that the French leader has a prisoner.
    
    Ride with Bartolomeo to the french fortress. Bartolomeo seems to have no fear.
    Ezio has a plan and requests Bartolomeo and his men fall back to the barracks

    The plan is pure genius. The tricky part though is obtaining the armor
    especially if you are going for the Full Synchronization. One of the locations
    is slightly to the north near a tunnel entrance. This area is full of French
    armor. Hire the band of mercenaries near the barracks and head to the battle
    site. Have the mercenaries attack and they will do most of the damage. Once
    they are finished all Ezio has to do is kill the remaining enemies without
    being seen. If the mercenaries stop fighting without dying simply instruct them
    to attack someone else.

    The men will encounter checkpoints along the way. Once they arrive at a french

    before the timer hits zero so the memory can continue. In fact Ezio does not 
    really have to follow the group. Once the red target markers appear on the mini
    map you can get a head start by running to the location and eliminating the
    enemies before the mercenaries even arrive.
    
    At the fortress gate the ruse has succeed and entry is allowed. Continue
    through the fortress until the next cinematic. Once it ends move to the top of
    the stairs and eliminate the Baron's men. When they are dead this memory ends
    and the next begins.

    Climb the nearest building and move across the rooftops eliminating french 
    guards in the towers. At the end of the path will be four men protecting a gate
    defeat them and interact with the gate controls. Once through the gate a 
    short cinematic takes place.
    
    The goal is to kill the Baron without being seen. Move to the left and take out
    the guard in the small tower. Move behind the tower and look in the distance.
    There should be a guard near the wall patrolling a small porch. Move to this 
    guard and eliminate him quietly. On this side of the structure where the Baron
    is hiding, another guard will patrol the entry way. Wait until this guard walks
    toward the front of the building and enter. To Ezio's immediate left he will
    find a stationary guard that he can kill quickly. As you move by this guard 
    other frenchmen will be alerted to your presence. If you move quickly to the
    Baron, Ezio will not be detected. Assassinate the piece of trash. Bartolomeo's
    wife is safe.

    The resistance has a leak and its time to do some repairs. Exit the bar and 
    fight off the attacking Borgia. There is no need to utilize stealth just kill
    all the enemies that appear before La Volpe and the thieves take too much
    damage. After the fight ride with La Volpe to a thief in trouble. Protect your
    ally be defeating the Borgia. Continue following La Volpe and defeating the
    guards that will attack the thieves. After each thief is saved more information
    is obtained

    Run toward the eastern gate to located Micheletto. He is inside the green 
    circle on the mini-map. Following the cinematic get on your horse and tail the
    target. As usual, stay at a reasonable distance. Ezio does not want to get too
    close (he will be discovered) or too far away (he will lose Micheletto). When
    Micheletto stops, dismount and search the area marked on the mini-map for his
    men. The trick is following him through the ruins without arousing suspicion. 
    The best route is to jump onto the broken columns on the left side of the
    entrance. Inside is a path of broken columns that Ezio can use to follow 
    Micheletto without detection. Ezio will run out of columns to leap to. At the
    end of the line perform a Leap of Faith into the hay and exit. Move forward
    to the next stack of hay and a cinematic will play.
    
    At the end of the cinematic call in one of the Assassins you should have 
    acquired by now to eliminate the guard ahead. Stick to the left side and jump
    across the columns to see a couple horses below. Mount a horse and continue to
    follow Micheletto. He leads Ezio to another set of ruins heavily guarded by
    Borgia. Take the path to the left again to reach higher ground. This time there
    will be guards patrolling nearby roofs as well. If you have the Crossbow it
    works wonders for quickly and quietly killing these guards without anyone
    knowing. Arrive at the central arena and circle around to one side. A cinematic
    will show the discussion below. Call in your Assassins again to eliminate the
    two Borgia below then leave the restricted area to continue tailing Micheletto.
    
    Again Micheletto stops to meet more guards. Dismount and move to the small
    roof to the left of where the target entered. There will be a single easily
    killed guard patrolling this roof. The next meeting is occurring just ahead.
    Active the cinematic then request another Assassination. Leave the area again
    and follow Micheletto on foot to the nearby play site.

    The initial climb is fairly easy. Just move to the marker and begin to climb
    up. There few guards that will be able to see you as long as you remain on the
    outer part of the Colosseum. Find the marker at the top and watch the 
    cinematic. The location of the four gunmen will be shown on the mini-map. A
    timer with 5:00 also appears. Leap into the hay below just as was shown during 
    the camera span portion of the cinematic. Jump from surface to surface until
    you have a visual on the first gunmen. There are multiple ways to kill the
    would be snipers (hidden blade, Crossbow, Assassins Guild). If you follow the 
    path shown in the cinematic Ezio should be able to jump into a stack of hay
    that the sniper will walk by for the first kill. The others can be taken out 
    by an Assassin trainee or Crossbow so you do not have to risk detection.
    
    With the snipers eliminated, drop to the backstage area below. Ezio has a 
    wardrobe change and now must lead the disguised Assassin Recruits onto the
    stage. Do not head to the left near the guards. Instead move to the right
    around the tables to find the stage area safely. Look for the white spiral 
    indicating your appropriate spot. It is likely the timer that appeared will be
    close to or under 10 seconds when you arrive. Now turn on Eagle Vision and look
    for a white discoloration on the ground. This is the appropriate mark for Ezio
    to stand at according to the play. When the other actors begin to approach
    your spot, turn on Eagle Vision again to find your new spot (it should be
    across from your current location). The actors will move one more time placing
    Ezio and his Assassins at the point of what ends up being a triangle.
    
    Once in place turn on Eagle Vision (if you have to) to locate Micheletto. He is
    the guy on stage in the black shirt (just as he said he would be). Move to him
    and initiate an Assassination.

    Basically ignore all of the Borgia, turn around, and exit through the back.
    More of Ezio's friends enter the Colosseum making it easier to slip out the
    back. Find the marker that signifies the doctor so Pietro can be healed.
    
    After the actor hands over the key, the resulting cinematic shows a man that
    Ezio remembers from the attack on the Villa. Chase after this man.
    Unfortunately, Ezio will meet some resistance. Call in your Assassins to deal
    with the Borgia that attack. You of course will not have enough Assassins to
    call in to take out all the guards you see so try your best to run around the 
    enemies without getting hit. If you are hit then do not fight back instead 
    continue to run toward the fleeing man. The focus should remain on not letting 
    the man get away. When you get close tap circle (you should already be holing
    R1) to tackle the man.
    
    The cinematic shows who the traitor actually is. Race to La Volpe to discuss
    the matter. Even though a timer appears do not let it worry you too much. There
    should be plenty of time to get to La Volpe. Also do not forget the Full
    Synchronization condition: avoid the water.

    Peak around the corner and look for a guard. If you have the crossbow snipe
    him, otherwise race toward him as he turns away and use the hidden blade. Climb
    the ladder below the marker. At the top grab the ledge and wait for a guard to
    approach and turn then eliminate him. Continue down the path toward the next
    marker. The crossbow again will allow you to make a quick and safe kill on the
    guard near the next marker. Climb the tower to the next marker and look below.
    Someone is in a hurry to see the Pope.
    
    This area should be looking familiar from a previous mission. At the 
    intersection take a right. There can be two to three guards on this path. There
    may be one patrolling near the hay stack but there should definitely be one
    on the roof to the left and one patrolling the open area at the end of the 
    path. Eliminate both and climb to the roof next to the opening in the tower. A
    guard is patrolling this path take him out (crossbow is excellent) and look for 
    the marker. You should be able to see a shiny door protected by a high fence. 
    Ezio can not climb over the fence so it looks like we need to take the stairs.
    
    Grab the edge of the wall and shimmy toward the marker. As you move a guard
    will pass below. He will not see Ezio but to be safe you can target him and
    call for an Assassin. Continue to move by where the marker is until you can 
    target the guard on the corner roof. Call for another Assassin to remove him.
    Drop onto a small roof across from where the fence lining the stairs ends. A 
    guard does patrol a portion of the stairway. If he is approaching, he can
    easily be killed with a crossbow. Leap over to the stairs and move to the door.
    If you make the jump and are hanging on a black below the edge of the stairs
    and can not reach the ledge, it is likely because you have not purchased the
    Climb Leap Glove that allows Ezio to make a leap up and manually grab a ledge.
    Without the glove you may have to drop to the ground (watch for a patrol from
    the left) and eliminate a few more guards before climbing the stairs. In any
    event interact with the door to enter.
    
    Move forward to locate the marker and eavesdrop on a conversation. The marker
    is in an odd spot floating in the air. Climb the crates to the left of the 
    large door below the marker's position. There is a ledge Ezio can grab above 
    the door arch. Shimmy to the right around the corner and grab the metal pole. 
    Use this pole to swing to the wooden beam. Jump to a higher grip on the wall
    and move to the right around the corner to drop onto the next wooden beam.
    Swing on the metal pole to reach the platform and cross the wooden beams. Jump
    to the next beam and drop to its other side. This beam extends to the corner
    and can be used to shimmy back towards the marker. As you pass the light/fire
    look for a higher hand hold to grip. Continue to the right and use the metal
    pole to swing to the next platform. We have arrived at the marker. Climb up the
    wall and pause at the top. There will be a group of guards on patrol. Wait for
    them to move to the left. One will stay while the others go up the stairs to
    the right. The lone guard will walk toward the opening where Ezio hangs. 
    Eliminate him and wait for the guards to return. They move in the same pattern
    but may not be close enough to assassinate. When they pass by to the right 
    again. Climb up quickly and kill the guard in the back. The other should
    continue up the stairs. Wait at the bottom of the stairs for the final guard
    and kill him as well.
    
    Look down the stairs for a patrolling guard. When he turns away move in for the
    kill. Go up the stairs toward the marker and pass through the next doorway. The
    stairs lead to a room with two guards. One patrols the floor while the other is
    on the balcony. They pass in opposite directions making it easier to kill them.
    Pull out the Crossbow (gotta love this weapon) and take out the ground guard
    when he is moving to the right (the balcony guard will be moving left). Now
    wait for the top floor guard to move back toward the right and shoot him too.
    Climb the bookshelf and assassinate the guard looking out the window. Exit the
    building through this window. 
    
    A guard will be on the rooftop across the courtyard but he should not be a 
    problem. Drop out of the window and be sure to hold onto the ledge. Move to the
    right and climb up. Continue right and drop (holding circle) to the ledge near
    the marker. Ezio peaks in the window.

    Climb up the rest of the building. Several guards are patrolling this area. If
    you are going for Full Synchronization just run by the guards or continue 
    around the side of the building to the marker. It does not matter if they 
    detect Ezio. At the maker a cinematic begins. When it ends Lucrezia, turns on
    Cesare just as he turned on her. Exit the room and run down the stairs.
    
    Cesare locks the exit trapping Ezio, or so it appears. Go back up the stairs,
    stopping at the top of the first flight. Climb the weapon rack next to the
    door way and grab hold of the door frame. Push jump to the hanging platform (it
    is a good thing this just happens to be here) and leap from beam to beam until
    Ezio is at the way out shown to us at the end of the lock out scene. Race up
    the stairs running by any guards to see Cesare racing away. Take note of the
    pigeons at your feet. This is a sign of a hay stack below. Perform a Leap of
    Faith (trust me). Exit the hay and run down the path Cesare just took. Leap 
    over the edge (maybe onto hanging platform first) and to the ground. Ezio was
    able to take the impact though the fall will due considerable damage. The 
    likelihood of survival depends on health and possible armor. Race through the
    town ignoring guards until you reach your destination. If the guards attack and
    you are still interested in Full Synchronization, utilize plenty of medicine 
    and possibly a smoke bomb (if available). This will keep Ezio healthy and 
    possible allow for an escape. 
    
    The mission ends once inside but Ezio is not done. Use Eagle Vision to 
    identify the large central structure. Move to the the rear of the egg and 
    interact to find the Apple.

    others will turn and fight for Ezio. Race out of the building and escape the 
    yellow square. Keep running forward and you will likely reach the river at
    the end of the path. Jump in and swim away to become anonymous completing the
    memory.

    Move into the area shaded in green to confront Cesare. His men will attack.

    targets each of which will have a special icon over their heads. While trying
    to eliminate these 5 men though more guards will flood the area. Try to focus 
    in on the primary target's locations to eliminate them as quickly as possible.

    Head to the marker and find the Cardinal waiting inside the green zone. Be sure
    that he does not see Ezio then tail him to the meeting site. When he enters the
    Colosseum look for an opening to the left of his entry point to avoid the
    soldiers. Be careful though because the Cardinal will pass right by this
    location on his way to the meeting. Proceed too quickly and he will see Ezio.
    After this cinematic more of Cesare's men attack with a group of soldiers.
    Using a combination of the Apple and your Assassin recruits eliminate Cesare's
    charging Captains. Initially there will be two but more will come. In total 
    there were at least 7 but the fight can be frantic and keeping track of the 
    numbers is not important. Just be sure that once Ezio uses the Apple not to
    be hit by an enemy if the health meter is too drained. To avoid damage call in
    the Assassins or run around the area looking for some temporary cover.

    Move ahead ignoring the guards. Enter the green circle to initiate the
    cinematic. With the aid of the other Assassin leaders and the Apple eliminate
    all the Borgia that are fighting. When the new marker appears move there to
    confront Cesare again. The cinematic ends the sequence.

    Ezio finds himself in a familiar place at least if you remember the opening
    sequence of the game. Rapidly tap square again only to just miss killing 
    Cesare. Fend of the Borgia soldiers until a cinematic begins. When Ezio gets 
    back up jump onto the horse and ride down the path. The bridge ahead is out 
    hold R1 + X to leap across. Once over a mortar hits the steed and Ezio must 
    travel on foot. Fight through the guards without regard to stealth. Well that
    is to say you do not have to worry about detection. Of course the more enemies
    killed by stealth the less fighting that is necessary.
    
    At the next marker, we witness the brutal murder of a civilian woman. Proceed 
    through town killing as many Borgia as you see fit. At the end of town is a 
    destroyed siege tower. Climb it. As the tower falls Ezio leaps out. Proceed 
    toward the castle gate eliminating enemies. Climb another siege tower and
    Cesare is near. Confront him again for the last time hopefully. 
    
    The fight against Cesare is not too difficult. Stay on the offensive and use 
    the kick to break his guard. As the fight proceeds a rapid tap of Square push
    button sequence will occur. If successful, Ezio will eliminate a portion of 
    Cesare's armor. With each successive piece of armor removed a group of guards
    will appear to aid Cesare. Eliminate the guards but never forget about the 
    primary target. While fighting the guards, Cesare will fire a gun and attack
    with his sword. The quicker you can thin out the guards the better.

    With Cesare dead, Ezio returns the Apple into hiding. The location of which 
    Desmond, who we are now in control of, believes he knows. Walk upstairs and 
    turn on Eagle Vision to view the pattern of triangles we look at earlier in the
    game. Desmond and his crew believe they have figured out the password to the 
    door to the Apple as well as its location.
    
    Leap onto the two wooden beams then look to the left. Jump to the ledge and 
    cross a couple more beams. Desmond informs Lucy that he is headed toward the
    entrance. The path ahead is pretty simple. When you get to the second fuse 
    box look up and climb. Proceed forward swinging on two more chandeliers only
    to arrive at what appears to be a well lit dead end. Climb the wall and perform
    a push jump to the block arch. Continue and Desmond will swing onto a broken
    wall with black and yellow bars running across it. Climb to the highest bar and
    move through the opening in the wall. 
    
    After Desmond mentions the place being like a maze due to all the construction,
    he is grounded. Climb the wall on the left and push jump to the opposite wall.
    Move to Desmond's left to reach the next set of bars. Now push jump to the
    opening in the opposite wall. Follow the ghost on horseback to find another
    dead end. That is if it wasn't for the lift. Use the lift and continue across
    more wooden beams. Perform a Leap of Faith and exit the hay. Using Eagle Vision
    Desmond should see an Assassin's symbol above the statue as well as one on
    each side of the room. Move to the symbols on the sides and press a button so
    Desmond will press the buttons. Once both are hit a cinematic takes us inside.
    
    Climb onto the column to the left. This allows us to pass by the gate. Stay 
    off the ground and leap to the next wall. Move to the right and use the wooden
    beams to reach the next opening. There will be a large gap between the last and
    next to last beam. Jump to the opposite wall and move toward the last beam. 
    From here jump to the pole to swing to the next "vision". Activate Eagle Vision
    to see the next two buttons. Push them to move forward.
    
    Climb up the opening in the ceiling for a cinematic. This room should look
    familiar to those who played Assassin's Creed 2. Proceed deeper into this room
    and Desmond will see another ghost. Climb the same structure it does to arrive
    at the switch that releases the chandeliers. Leap to the left balcony to access
    the ceiling ornaments. Jump from one to another to reach the next switch. Along
    the way one of the ceiling beams will trigger a ladder as a checkpoint in case
    you fall so you do not have to start from scratch. The lever raises an object
    in the floor. Reunite with the rest of the team. Shaun is wrong, it isn't a 
    dead end. Press any button to show him he is wrong. Go to the door that has the
    Apple locked away. The password works. 
    
    Drop below and interact with the device on the floor. This raises some thin
    columns. Jump from column to column grabbing the shiny bars along the way. If a
    jump looks too high it probably is and it is not meant to be reached directly.
    At the end of the path you find yourself where you started but a new set of 
    stairs appears. Go up the steps to the Apple. Once Desmond has it in hand I'll
    let you see the rest then wait for the next installment of Assassin's Creed.

    -Pictures- The picture puzzles will have a common thread that binds them. Find
               the common thread and select the correct pictures to pass the
               puzzle. In the picture puzzles the paintings will be numbered in 
               order from left to right just as you were reading a book.

                   up on the left analog stick until the outer wheel combination is
                   reached. The direction to spin will be described as left or
                   right in relation to pushes of the analog stick. Left is 
                   counterclockwise and right is clockwise.
    
                   An example of a solution would be:

                  In this example you would press up on the left analog stick three
                  times until the outer ring (an any attached to the outer ring) is
                  highlighted. Now move the left analog stick to the left twice.

                  right 3 times. Press the analog stick until the inner most set of
                  rings are highlighted and push the stick to the left once.
                  Finally back out one time and push the stick to the right 5 times
    
                  This can be a confusing process but hopefully the description
                  will help.
    
    -Code Breaking - You are give a set of pictures with a clue. There is a hidden
                     symbol in the pictures that will reveal a set of coordinates.
                     Upon locating the coordinates you have the ability to attempt
                     to decipher a code using a symbol wheel as a key.
    
    -Voice Puzzle - You are trying to select the wavelengths on the left to move 
                    the wavelength on the right. If the wavelength you create 
                    matches the one that is pre-printed in blue the voice recording
                    is decrypted and you can hear it.

    The entrance to the Lair is near the backstage area during Memory 3 of Sequence
    7. Its next to a table on a wall that circles the inside of the Colosseum at
    ground level.
    
    Once inside climb onto the low wooden beam on the left. Use it to reach the
    higher beam and go over the wall. Interact with the lever to open the gate.
    Proceed forward to find a man sitting in a chair in the distance. Approach him
    and the cinematic reveals an ambush. Take out the enemies (disarming someone
    who attacks provides Ezio with a quick kill and a weapon). The guy in the black
    cloak drops down to talk things over. When Ezio asks for the Scroll the man
    flees.
    
    Chase the man in black. He will take short cuts behind gates an Ezio will have
    to improvise. The man will enter an area with numerous others dressed just as
    him. Activate Eagle Vision and follow the "mist" to the target. Once he is 
    located the chase is on. The guy will run to a horse and ride away. There are
    a couple more horses just standing around waiting to be used in a chase. Mount
    one and go after the man in black. At the end of the line Ezio will find
    another fight. Disarm someone then use that weapon against all the rest.
    
    Climb the wall to reach the rafters. Enter the opening in the wall and perform
    a leap of faith. Find the hole in the wall and jump across the gap. Drop below
    and interact with the door. Open all the chests then be sure to grab the items
    in the big box on the counter. A portion of the will will shimmer. Use it to
    exit.

    Go to the Plazzo Laterano and climb the wall. The entrance is in the northwest
    corner.
    
    Move through the next couple of rooms and make a left. This should lead you to
    a long corridor with holes in the floor. Cross using the wood beams and climb 
    up the wall on the left. Work around to a balcony that is indicated by the 
    marker and a painting will fall. This will be shortcut in case Ezio falls. Jump
    from chandelier to chandelier to arrive at an opposite balcony.
    
    In the next room look for a tall statue with its hands held out. Climb the
    statue and jump onto the ceiling swing. Press and hold circle as you release
    the swing to grab the ledge on the column. Move around so you can jump to the
    wall then go to the left. The pole will allow Ezio to swing over the gate.
    
    Climb the weapon rack to reach the rafters. Use the wooden beams to cross into
    the next doorway. Around the corner part of the flooring falls in. Jump to the
    wooden beams then to the wooden columns. This should place Ezio hanging from
    a broken floor that moves when he grabs hold. Go to the right and Push Jump
    toward the center of the room. When Ezio grabs the wooden beam move to his 
    left. Climb up the ladder like portion of wooden beams at the end. Ezio should
    be able to jump to the wall on the left and grab hold where some of the wall
    has disappeared. Pull up to the balcony and find the stairs. Jump around the
    ceiling until reaching the next platform. A board drops that could help if 
    Ezio falls.
    
    Continue forward and the cinematic shows the shrine. Drop below and go up the
    stairs. Interact with the gate. It does not open. Shoot the sand back to the
    left of the gate and another gate opens. Move through this doorway. Climb the 
    wall directly across from the door and move to the left. Pull up through the
    hole in the wall. Now we are in the same room as before but with a different 
    perspective. Turn and enter through the broken gate behind Ezio. Shoot the
    sand bag then jump onto the railing. From the railing jump to the top of the 
    column and rotate around it. Jump to the platform on the opposite wall then
    move forward. Ezio's landing creates an alternate route just in case he falls.
    
    Climb onto the table and jump onto the column. Use the exposed wooden beams to
    rise toward the ceiling. Perform a side jump to Ezio's right then jump across
    to the other side of the room. Head to the back left corner and shoot a second
    sand bag. Drop to the floor and enter the shrine. Loot everything and exit.

    Leonardo Da Vinci's creations are being used for evil purposes. Since Leonardo 
    is helping and has helped Ezio's cause, we will assist in his desires to 
    reclaim his works.

    In order to kill the Templar Overseer we must first complete the initial 
    objective: Locate the Templar Overseer. Logical, huh? As you approach the new 
    green marker look for a group of mercenaries to hire so you can achieve the 
    Full Synchronization. Activate Eagle Vision to identify the Overseer. Send the
    mercenaries in to fight the Overseer's guards then move in for the kill. A map 
    with a war machine location has been acquired.

    The machine gun blueprints are in the upper left corner of the area. The best
    advise is to walk through town avoiding all red dots. The fast walk is your 
    best option for moving quickly without alerting guards. The as you approach the 
    blueprints watch the map for a patrolling sentry. The guard will walk in a 
    circular pattern near the blueprints. Wait for the guard to move toward the 
    back corner where the blueprints are located then move to the stack of crates. 
    As the guard moves away from the blueprints move to them and interactm Ezio 
    burns the schematics. If you were able to reach the blueprints and destroy them 
    without killing anyone Full Synchronization for this memory is achieved. Now 
    climb over the wall behind where the blueprints were hanging. Cross the roof 
    and drop below. Locate the barrels in the arch and interact with them. Ezio 
    lights the gun powder and now must flee to safety. Quickly move through the 
    white on screen cues to be at a safe distance when the explosion occurs. The 
    machine gun carriage is now running away. 
    
    Ezio now has a horse to ride. Quickly chase after the carriage avoiding any gun 
    shots that come your way. On at least two separate occasions traps will be set.
    Numerous logs will flood the road behind the carriage forcing Ezio to take a 
    different route. When you get close enough to the carriage a cinematic will 
    allow Ezio to board. Now, we must escape with the weapon. You no longer have to 
    worry about controlling speed just direction. Keep the carriage on the road and 
    cut off any approaching Borgia by steering into them. The remainder of the 
    mission has Ezio controlling the gun as the horses steer themselves.  Target 
    all of the enemies that approach and shoot them all before they shoot Ezio. 
    Towards the end we even venture through a town where Ezio can shoot at some 
    explosive barrels to take out multiple enemies. If successful the result is no 
    more machine gun.

    Move to the marker and climb up behind the Overseer. You can stealth kill him
    but will not get Full Synchronization. Instead give him a kick first then kill
    him. This will also result in having to fight off some Borgia guards.

    Jump into the water and swim to the blue marker to talk with Eduardo. He agrees
    to assist Ezio. Follow the path he takes in the gondola. When he enters the
    tunnel take out the guard on the left. A cinematic will allow Eduardo to pass
    but block Ezio. Move to the wall opposite where the guard was patrolling. Near
    the entrance to the area will be some hand grips Ezio can use to climb to the
    rafters. Use the wooden beams to cross over the gate. To be safe you can kill
    the guards below as you pass. Especially if you have a fully loaded Crossbow.
    The bolts from a crossbow are one shot kills. Otherwise it is possible to
    move to the next gate unseen. As Eduardo moves deeper in to the area the path 
    will split and Ezio runs out of rafters to run across. When the gates open 
    for Eduardo to row one way, travel down the other fork kill guards as you go.
    At the final gate Eduardo will move through and Ezio can open a door at the
    dock. Being detected now will not desynchronize the memory.
    
    Move forward and Ezio will encounter five guards in the next room. Two groups
    of two are separated by a block wall while the fifth is in front of the next
    gate. Kill them all then open the gate. This next room houses the blueprints
    and lots of guards. The two at the end beginning of the room can be silently
    assassinated. Defeat the rest then climb the ladder to the second level. The 
    blueprints are hanging on the wall. Interact with the blueprints to destroy
    them.
    
    There are a few guards on the upper levels. Ezio can shoot them with a 
    Crossbow if you have bolts left. Otherwise, move to the side of the room and
    interact with the wheel on the wall. This raises a platform of crates. Use
    this platform and one that was already in place to reach the upper levels. Use
    the beams and platforms at this marker to move around through a opening in
    the wall and back to the room with the boat. The blue marker indicates the
    location of another wheel that will release water into the room. Ezio jumps
    into the water and boards the boat.
    
    Row out to the Borgia ship. Avoid the red target lines so Ezio stays out of
    the path of its defenses. Move close enough to fire at the ship's sails. 
    When close tap Square to man the cannon. Destroy all three sails to sink the
    ship. Three more ships are in the distance each with three more sails.

    Ezio is entering a restricted area. Any alert from a guard will result in 
    desynchronization. Move forward and you will see the architect immediately. Run 
    behind the buildings to the right and wait for the patrolling guard to pass by.
    Kill the guard then run straight ahead and jump into the cart of hay. A second
    guard will stop nearby. Kill him then climb the building you just ran by. At 
    the top locate the enemy below and Assassinate him. Move down the path and
    enter the next cart of hay. A guard will be easy to assassinate nearby. Exit
    then eliminate the patrolman on the roof of the small building. Race forward 
    and see the architect about to enter the gate.
    
    The gate is guarded by two men and will slam shut when the target passes
    through. Quickly move to the right. The guards may see you but should not be
    alerted. Climb the crates on the side of the building. Use the wooden beams
    to turn the corner. Ezio should find an opening in the wall that will allow
    him to see the architect and enter the fortress. Drop below once the target is
    in sight. Sheath your weapons and use your fists to acquire the location of
    the blueprints. 
    
    A blue marker appears on the mini-map indicating the location of the
    blueprints. Climb the nearby building and move back to where Ezio entered the
    fortress. Follow the wall (staying off the ground) to the blueprints. A guard
    may see Ezio again but this should not cause an alert. Interact with the 
    blueprints and Ezio will burn them. Exit the shack and climb the building
    straight ahead. There will be a guard on the roof, one on the roof to the left,
    and one patrolling the ground. Avoid the site of the rooftop guard and either
    wait for the ground guard to leave or enter the well to go unseen. In any event
    the goal is to open the cell holding the mercenaries.
    
    Once they exit follow and protect them on the way to the tank. Interact with 
    the opening to the passage.  Climb through the opening in the wall. Look to the
    upper left if you haven't found it. Jump across the beams and find the lever
    on the other side to open the gates. The mercenaries will now be able to pass
    through. Now though, there is another closed gate blocking the path. Repeat
    the task by climbing up the wall to the left and jumping around to open this
    gate. Once through there is a bridge that needs lowered. Again look on the
    wall to the left for some hand grips. Climb up and move across the water to
    lower the bridge.
    
    The next time we are in control of Ezio he is inside the tank. Drive the tank
    with the left stick, find targets with the right (move the camera) and fire
    with R1. Drive to the end of the path shooting cannons and guards. At the end
    Ezio will face off against another tank. Strafe around it and fire 
    relentlessly. With it destroyed move on up the path. Blow a hole through the 
    gate and be prepared for a fight against two more tanks. The strategy remains
    the same stay on the move and fire when the enemy is in the crosshairs. There
    will be a red line of site coming from the tanks when they are about to fire
    just as there was from the cannons.

    Activate Eagle Vision to locate the architect. Follow him behind a house and
    sheath all weapons. Use your fists to beat the location of the blueprints out
    of the architect. Run along the back of the buildings to the west until you
    reach a wall. Follow the wall to a ladder and climb to the roof. Jump from the
    roof to the top of the wall. Avoid or kill the guars quickly (Ezio is
    notorious after all). The kills are easily accomplished with the crossbow. It 
    is also possible to sneak to the side of the buildings and perform stealth
    assassinations. The blue marker is the location of the blueprints. With the 
    two tower guards dead Ezio should have a safe and clear path to locate the 
    schematics. Destroy them and exit the shed.
    
    Ezio is still notorious so all guards are still under a high alert status.
    Blend in with a group of civilians to move through the next Borgia checkpoint.
    Hopefully, Ezio can use this cover to reach the fortress ahead. I actually, 
    remained blended until passing the gate. Once by the gate run around the back
    of the fortress to the other side. Climb to the roof of the stables and leap
    over to the wall across from the hanging platform. Find the hand grips and 
    climb to the top of the tower. Eliminate the guard and Ezio has penetrated the
    outer wall of the fortress.
    
    Perform a Leap of Faith into the hay stack below. Wait in the hay for two 
    guards to walk by. Once they pass exit and run toward the direction they are 
    moving except Ezio should climb the crates. Now jump across the beams to the 
    rooftop. The goal is to reach the roof of the stables unnoticed. From here
    climb to the top of the tower and eliminate the guard. Leap across to the tower
    next to the goal. Move around to the front of the building and assassinate 
    the guard. Enter the door behind the marker. Climb the ladder and make your 
    way to the top of the inside of the tower. Near the top Ezio finds his goal,
    an open window. Exit and jump to the beam and turn the corner. At the very top
    of the tower interact with the wheel of rolled up rope to eliminate the four
    guards. Climb the final ladder to reach the flying machine.
    
    With Ezio in control of the flying machine, fly around the area firing at 
    the workshops (R1) to destroy them. Two hits with the flying machine's cannon
    will destroy a workshop. There are four locations that must be destroyed. The
    flying machine has no way to stay airborne permanently. Eventually, Ezio will
    nose dive. Fire the cannon into the ground to create a fire that will provide
    and updraft allowing increased flight time. Once the four workshops are gone,
    we must destroy the Bomber construction carts.

    There is a lift next to a bank on the western face of the Tower. Use this lift 
    to rise to the roof and walk forward. Ezio will be directly over a courtyard
    and the captain will be under shelter below Ezio's feet. If you move to the 
    North you should see a group of 4 guards on a balcony below. Call in an
    Assassin strike to quietly eliminate these guards. Wait for the Assassin
    strike to reload then slowly enter through the balcony. Pietro is to the right
    and well guarded. Call in another Assassin strike and move quickly to take out
    the Tower Captain. Reduce notoriety. Once anonymity is your friend again climb
    the tower synchronize and ignite.

    Enter from the North and locate what I assume is a church inside of the area
    of Borgia influence. The Captain stands in front of the church. If you enter
    from the north and take out a couple of rooftop guards, Ezio will have quick
    access to climb the back of the building. Toward the front of the church there
    will be a guard on a smaller roof. Take him out and drop below. Once the
    Captain sees you he will try to run, but since you got the jump on him it 
    should be an easy kill. Now defeat the remaining guards or run away. Climb the
    tower, synchronize and ignite.

    Enter the protected area from the West. A trio of guards will be patrolling the 
    rooftops. They are easily taken out without detection if you watch their
    movements and attack at the right time. The Captain will usually be patrolling 
    in an open area near these roofs. You can send in an Assassin, perform a direct
    assault, or try to hide in the hay and steal kill the Captain. In any event
    eliminate him, climb the tower, synchronize with the view point, and ignite the
    structure.

    regularly paces. When he walks by press Square to Assassinate then drop back
    into the water and swim away. Climb the nearby tower, synchronize, and ignite.

    The most difficult part about killing this Captain is that he is hidden
    underground and runs at the slightest hint of trouble. Once you enter the 
    controlled area look for a set of stairs that leads below. Try to slowly and
    methodically defeat the guards. Look for a single Borgia standing by a ladder. 
    At the bottom of the ladder call for support from your Assassin friends to
    eliminate a duo of guards. The Captain is behind the next wall. He will run
    quickly if there is much of a fight between the Assassin recruits and Borgia,
    so act with haste to eliminate him. The final steps are to climb, synchronize,
    and ignite the tower.

    slam shut. Use the poles/beams to the right of the gate to reach him. Use the

    acts much less gentlemenly than Ezio. Defend her honor by beating up the Borgia
    scum. It looks like Ezio earned his second chance after all.

    Turn around and walk toward the marker. The goal is to escort Cristina to the 
    site of Ezio's family's execution site. When they we find that they have

    are currently located. The guard reveals that the bodies are near the river.
    Escort Cristina to the next marker. Here we see Ezio's family on the ground in
    the distance. Between Ezio and the bodies are two guards. Climb the ladder to
    the left and cross the roofs to reach the dead Auditores. When you near the
    bodies look for a second group of patrolling Borgia coming up from the alley
    that follows the river. Once they circle around and return down the alley pick
    up a body and take it to the boat. Ezio should be able to carry at least two
    family members to the boat before the patrol returns. The third is possible to
    get too but if there is a doubt wait for the patrol to walk away. After a 
    cinematic the memory is complete.

    difficult. Well... not really. Simply locate the area he patrols then move to
    the side and wait for him. A quick blade to the belly and the mission ends.

    horse then switch to the hidden blade for the kill. Either way kill all 6 to

    There are six assassination targets involved in this mission. All six are 
    located at the same site. They are divided into two sets of three. The easiest
    way to accomplish this Assassination Mission with Full Synchronization is to
    run to the site and stand on the rooftops out of sight. Target one of the two
    sets of enemies and call for an Assassin Arrow Strike. Each of the guards will
    be killed quickly and quietly with no alerts. Wait for the ability to recharge

    use the continuation execution to eliminate the second courier. If you do not
    kill the 2nd courier quickly you can still complete the mission but Full
    Synchronization will not be achieved. Alternatively, use of the crossbow if
    available could hasten the courier's death if you aim is quick.

    faction member found move next to him and "Plant" the stolen goods on him.

    and it is here too. One interesting note though is that while following her
    she led Ezio up a set of stairs. At the top she stopped near a man sweeping to
    look behind her. After looking she returned back down the stairs where Ezio was
    standing. Fortunately, there was a bench at the base of the stairs to sit in
    providing the perfect cover. Once she leads you to the benefactor sneak to the
    outside of the nearby fence and circle to the target's back. Jump inside the to
    kill the target for Full Synchronization. Talk to Giuletta to end the memory.

    by a man causes the guards to attack. Ignore them and keep running. When 
    Giuletta reaches the ambassador he is ready for a fight. Unfortunately for him
    he only brought fists to a sword fight. Eliminate the ambassador then talk to
    the banned Courtesan.

    return to the Courtesan. The most difficult part is the time. Normally, I'd 
    say rooftop travel is the quickest and safest. I tried running the roofs on
    this mission and it seemed to only slow me down. Instead I stayed on the ground
    and as I approached the doctor's office site tried to move to the right of the
    shop. From the right side I move straight across (right to left) picked the
    doctor's pocket and raced back to the Courtesan. This is one of the few 
    secondary missions that needed repeating. It may just be that I didn't find a
    great route to and from the doctor.

    location. Drop inside the Mausoleo and walk through the arch directly behind
    the target. Assassinate him with the hidden blade.

    Copenico. The goal is to defeat the attacking Borgia for 2:00, keeping the 
    scholar alive for the entire time. This can be a daunting task but made easier 
    by calling for help. If available press L2 to call in for Assassin Recruits to 
    aid in protecting Copernico. When the timer hit 0:00 kill any remaining Borgia 
    then talk to Copernico.

    destination. Be careful because he likes to turn a corner and turn around more
    so than most of the other characters we've followed in the game.

    the difference between lots of chasing and very little. For the most part stick
    to the roofs. The executioners will be found in this manner: 1) Rooftop
    2) Ground 3) Rooftop 4) & 5) Ground (these two are walking side by side) and
    6) Rooftop. You must eliminate all without dying or losing the target. If Ezio
    dies or the target is lost you will restart from the beginning.

    There really is not much to killing the Master. Move into town and locate him

    enemies and the scholar is safe. He must have hist his head during the fight
    though because he begins to spout out heresy about the earth revolving around

    Contracts

    Several cities will be available to perform Assassin contracts. These cities
    include: Florence, Venice, Barcelona, Vienna, Rome, Moscow, Paris, London,
    Calicut, Lisbon, Constantinople, and Cologne. By selecting a particular city
    you can see all the missions associated with that place. The difficulty,
    reward, and duration of the mission is also visible on the right. The
    difficulty is indicated by red diamonds or stars. The more red ones the harder
    the contract. The reward will show how much XP and currency the guild can
    obtain by being successful. The Synch Durations is the amount of game time 
    required to complete the mission.
    
    Upon selecting a particular contract you will get a description of what the
    mission requires. Continue past that screen to select which of the Assassin's
    will attempt the contract. The higher the level the Assassin the more likely
    for success. It is possible to send up to five Assassins on a single contract.
    Once you add or take a way a member for a mission the Odds of Success meter
    will move. The closer the meter is to 100% the more likely the mission will
    be successful. Remember though all if all Assassin's are sent on contracts Ezio
    will not have anyone to assist him in the game world. You can not call for an
    Assassin Strike if everyone in the guild is in Paris completing contracts.
    
    The more contracts completed the more XP gained for the guild members and the
    stronger the guild becomes.
