The Ranger Net is a series of special missions, each giving you the chance to encounter a rare Pokémon.
In Japan these missions are only available at special events, just as the Pokémon are only available to players of the RPGs at such events, but in the U.S. they are all unlockable.Unlockable How to Unlock 1) Ranger Net Complete the game’s Story Mode 2) Mission 1: Gain Deoxys’s Trust?! Unlock Ranger Net 3) Mission 2: Rescue Celebi! Complete the Deoxys mission 4) Mission 3: Find Mew, the Mirage!
