How do I beat the Cloud of Darkness?

I'm stuck on the final boss and need help to defeat it

First off, make sure you have defeated the four bosses in the World of Darkness before you attempt to fight her (the ones guarding the Dark Crystals, not the ones guarding the Ribbons). Otherwise, her Particle Beam will always deal 9999 damage.

I recommend having a Devout in your party, since a healer will really help out in this fight. Also, make sure everyone is wearing a Ribbon, so you don't have to worry about any status effects. Start off by defeating the tentacle on the left with physical attacks (or the right, whichever one is vulnerable to physical attacks). Afterwards, just ignore the second tentacle and focus on the Cloud of Darkness. Have your Devout heal every turn.

Well I would basically recommend what SilentLoner said, except destroying the tentacle that is susceptible to physical attacks. I focused all of my attacks only on the cloud itself, and I beat it fairly easily. Again the Devout should heal whenever possible.
