How do I get past Scene 21, the bury your friends in snow before the Bear comes level?

I beat the first two sections by waiting for the four friends running in a circle to go to the same spot and then smacking them and burying them together. But on the third section, there are five friends, they're running in solo circles and the one in the middle is on ice which takes longer to bury. So I can't use the strategy I used on the first two sections. I can bury four out of five before the bear comes, but haven't been able to get past it. Do I just have to find a way to get faster at it(doesn't seem possible right now)? Also, if there's any advice you can tell me on the two sections that will come if I can beat the third section.

PS And yes I know you can skip one scene per game.

I hit the ones that I could get together and any stragglers by themselves, and then furiously scratched all the way across the screen as fast as I could. Sometimes you just gotta be REALLY fast in your motions.
