Check the pub and see if "The Ritual" is there. Many people forget to save between that mission and "The Two Grimoires", so that could be your problem there.

If not, try walking around for a bit and checking the pub every ten days or so.

If you need a guide i can make one. this is my ULTIMATE guide. but it is frustrating and takes a looooooooong time. keep doing barmaid and greatland festival quests over and over again to collect knot of rushes. use them to strenghten the power of darkmatter. the more of kor(knot of rushes) the stronger dark matter will be.

Maybe you should check some notices at the pub? Or try to do more quest and wait few months(game months).

I've passed the quest, but it directly appeared after defeating the white mage.

Yes, they did you have to beat the ritual quest just that one after that you beat the quest with the red king, blue king, green king, black king, and the white king. then it's easy if you have Zodiarc he deals 999 damage but, with crap for hit. Like if your lucky 67%. Thanks for reading

ok the first thing you wanna do is check the notices at the pub...there should be a notice that says Cinquleur and it simply says you should not fight them..which of course you must in order to beat the game entirely..

now..after that you should go to a pub in the Ashleaf season as that is when the quest becomes available(personally I went on the 8th of Ashleaf)
