How do I beat the at-at's in episode V?

I am having trouble remembering how to defeat the AT-AT's in Episode V in Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I know I'm supposed to use the tow cable by pressing the "B" button when it is highlighted. My snowspeeder makes one complete circle around the AT-AT and it keeps disconnecting. I beat this part of the game before but I just don't remember how I did it. If anyone can understand my question please respond.

Use the stylus/finger to draw loops around them...until they fall down.

Answer

Use the Tow Cable w/ the B Button and use your Stylus to draw a circle around the AT-AT and it will fall over, now you have to shoot it w/ Y and it will be destroyed.

Sort of like defeating AT-STs, but there are more loops needed and you have to blast them to destroy them.

You first shoot the At-At with the cable then you have to draw circles on the touch screen. After the it falls you have to blast it and it will go boom and it is defeated.
