It seems that even in video games, magazines have typos.
There are two known codes that have been misprinted in the magazines. In order of game, issue #, and page they appear in, they are...:
Rally King, April 1986 (4-'86), Page 6:
-Wrong Code: Press Select while holding Left.
-Correct Code: Press Select while holding Left and Up.
*This code also works with Rally King SP.*
Haggle Man 3, December 1989 (12-'89), Page 13:
-Wrong Code: B, A, B, A, Left, Left, Right, Right.
-Correct Code:B, B, A, A, Left, Left, Right, Right.
*The rest of the page's instructions are correct.*

statusIt was a magazing type error, I think the correct code is BBAAleft left right right. Though I'm not sure.
The code is B B A A Left Left Right Right.
Also, one Rally King code was listed wrong. The invincibilty code I think. It's says to hold left and press whatever the button was, but it's actually up+left (though if I'm wrong it's down+left).
