Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood

If you love Sonic and you love RPG's, you'll love this. The battle system, overworld and dialogue are superb. Music a bit iffy though, and it's a tad short, but you'll love it most likely.

Yes it's a really great game big on the Sonic and as usual a great RPG from Bioware my personal favourite DS RPG.

I disagree; I too love the genesis series and am an avid RPG fan, and this game is just too mediocre in my opinion. However, it's only gets bad at the very very end of the game (which i wont spoil for you) so I'd say it's worth a rent. That way you can return it after you've beaten it (it's a very short game) and are disappointed in the ending.

It feels less like a Final Fantasy RPG and more like the original Super Mario RPG. Timed hits are replaced with the new battle system. The battle system feels good to use, and the fact that enemies can flee from you in battle (complete with ensuing mini game) is kind of refreshing. It's a Pretty fun game all things told, and Sonic's sarcastic/abusive responses to his friends (optional) are pretty funny.

I'd buy it, but then again, I already have.

When does it come out?

It was shipped out on September 30th and will be available October 1st at Gamestop... Not sure about other stores.

Trying renting games, especially using a service like GameFly.
