you knew the distance right? then all you have to do is hold block and do the combo then release block IMMEDIATELY after doing the combo.
Here are Ermac's fatalities
Decapitation: RN, BLK, RN, RN, HK (You must be at close range, standing right next to your opponent)
Telekinetic Massacre: D, U, D, D, D, BLK (You must be at sweep range, a few steps away from your opponent. To do this one, you hold block and quickly press D, U, D, D, D. Then release block and press it again)
