I have noticed that the CO names are different for European and American versions. What else is?
Mission names, unit names, CO names, CO power names, Music names, Story/campaign, Dialogue, nothing that majorly influences the story in general, but still.

Mission names, some unit names, and that Story vs. Campaign difference. But also the character names and the dialogue in general.
