I tried everything and I can't absorb the glyph fast enough, is there a trick to stop the cubes from falling?
You have to use a glyph union that is a large attack, aka sword, mace, scythe, etc. Use the glyph union once to destroy a ton of the blocks, then after you land jump and do another one to destroy more blocks farther up. As soon as you land start absorbing, and you should be able to finish before the cubes return to block you.
