Intro-

Quite Frankly, I didn't expect too much for this game when I ordered it, and I'm glad I didn't, because I'm sure I would have broke out crying out of sheer disappointment. I would never suggest buying this game as your first DS purchase, which is the mistake sadly made.

Graphics: 5/10

In all seriousness, think lower grade GBA graphics. After playing various other DS games, the DS is capable of better graphics than this.Don't get me wrong, it's not ugly but it'll due if you don't mind low end graphics on a powerful handheld.

Music: 8/10

For a game like this, I didnt actually expect GOOD music, but I've never been more wrong in my life. Think Techno-ish rap music, and thats what you get in this game. That's about the best part of the game to me.It really gives you the mode you are living in the slums.

Use Of Touchscreen: 6/10

The opening screen is the best use of the touchscreen. It's a mix-table, and you can spin it to make cool scratching noises.But inside the game, it's used basically to use menu's and such. Such a cool idea by Nintendo to get spat on by games that use it only for menu's.Shame on you EA, shame on you.

Story:(7/10)

You are a poor sim hard up for cash and no place to live.You are allowed to live in a building as long as you work.The game gets deeper as you eventually get to find housing in the city and do different "games" (although they are funny jobs like Basketball and stuff).I really didn't mind the story, but was dissapointed in pretty much everything else. At least it's not THAT big of a disappointment.

Gameplay:(6/10)

It's like all the other sims games, except this time, you can actually walk around! You do the typical things in life, eat and sleep, watch TV, the simple stuff. You will find yourself eating from vending machine's until you can buy a refridgerator or a stove.

Controls:(5/10)

You use the D-Pad and the A B X and Y keys, any questions?No use of touchscreen except for menus=Bad Idea. Such a innovative idea by Nintendo, only to not be utilized to it's fullest potential.

Summary:

This game could have been MUCH worst, but it could have also been much better, I don't want to come off as a fanboy, but as this being my first DS game, this really gave the DS a negative image in my mind. We'll, hopefully I'll find something better.I give it a 6/10 so you all don't hate me >=(.
