"You Get What You Pay For. (Unless you bought it while it was new.)"

I went to EB games (and let me tell you, it was the most poorly organized EB games I've ever been in, games were stacked everywhere and the employees couldn't find anything!) with twenty dollars, two quarters, and a dream. To find a decent DS budget title. Sadly, all I found was this. It was ten dollars, and worth it while it lasted, but something held it back from being a great one...

Graphics: 9/10
I was actually impressed visually. The animations and pictures were well drawn, unlike many dating sims that get lazy and recycle one or two pictures, this one has many emotions for every character and many funny pictures to unlock.

Sound: 1/10
Perhaps the best feature in the entire game is the option to turn music OFF. Perhaps there were a rare few moments in the game where the music wasn't annoying, but unfortunately I had to keep mine off to avoid my ears bleeding from monotonous club music.

Gameplay: 4/10
There are a few moments where this area shines, and the witty dialogue lightens the mood and helps you forget about just how annoyingly linear this game is. The only real choice I had was at the end of the game when I got to choose one of three girls to go on a cruise with. I chose Erica, and was "rewarded" with a crappy picture of her flirting with other guys while the protagonist walked away in shame. What. The. Hell. There are annoying typos now and then, some unprofessional laziness shows (such as two characters being nearly identical in conversations and interests), and personally, I felt trapped in the body of a perverted, stereotypical horny guy in a club. If you want to be a dating sim, you shouldn't force the player to take one, single path to one, single mate, to get a good ending. For shame.

Fortunately, this being as cheap as it is (I've heard some people managed to get it for two bucks!), I recommend picking this up if you're bored and need a laugh. If nothing else, it can be funny when you aren't frustrated with the game's faults. And please, I say this for the good of my fellow, idiotic men who may attempt the following. Don't, Ever, Use this game as a reference for dating. Unless you enjoy failing miserably and getting slapped.
