"I hate to think that programmers were wasted on this game."

I got this free with my DS Lite. Thankfully, I had another DS that broke before I got the lite, which had many great games such as Animal Crossing and MarioKart. If I had gotten the lite and this was my first game, I would have taken everything back most likely. I can most certainly see why it was free.

Graphics: 9/10

The graphics are the only good thing about this game. It's a shame these graphics couldn't be incorporated into a different game... But these graphics are awesome. Almost as good as a PSP. The vehicles and terrains all look wonderful, but all the drivers are the same, but wearing different clothing. that's what made this a 9, not a 10.

Sound: 4/10

All I hear is the revving of the engines. Uh huh... Wonderful sound...

Control: 2/10

You basically can't turn. There are many sharp turns throughout the levels, but you can't actually make any of them without having to slow down. And believe me, you don't want to slow this down anymore than it already is. The controls in general aren't bad, but the game doesn't do what it should with them. For example, to do a trick, you go off a hill, then button-mash L and R. Sounds fine to me. Maybe it would work if there WERE big hills.

Gameplay: 1/10

Ouch. Ouch, ouch, ouch. This game must have the worst gameplay of any DS game out there. THE worst. The ATVs are nearly impossible to control, they barely turn at all. If you make the SLIGHTEST mistake, your rider falls off, and makes the race completely unbalanced. Not only is the handling bad, but there is absolutely NO speed. I YAWNED while playing this. No racing game should be boring. Unfortunately, this one is.

Conclusion: I'm glad I didn't have to pay extra for this game. This game doesn't even belong in the $5.00 section. Just don't. It's not worth a minute of your time.
