Point Blank DS

"Lots of fun"

This is an arcade ported to the ds and upgraded. Here you will play about 50 different touch screen mini games all having you shoot things. Just like the arcade game. You start out with about 5 sets of mini games. To unlock 3 more sets of mini games you have to get a certain amount of points to get a unique title. If you get 0 points you will get a strange title. When you get enough of them you will unlock a new set of mini games.

One of my favorite modes is the classic player. You play four classic arcade games exactly as they were in the arcade except of course you use the touch screen. All the sounds, looks, and fun is exactly the same as the arcade.

The next mode is the main story mode. You don't unlock anything from it but it's the most difficult mode and one of the most fun. You can choose any mode from beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. The beginner mode is extremely easy and is used just to learn how to play and get used to the game. Beginner is when it starts to get fun and mildly difficult. Intermediate is hard. The only you can beat it is to practice on some of the other modes. Expert is extremely hard. It's insane and will take lots of hard work to complete.

The final mode is mode where you unlock new sets of mini games. To do that you choose a set of four mini games and depending a how many points you get you a certain title. Once you get 5 titles you unlock a new set of mini games. Once you get 25 you unlock another set. Then when you get 50 titles you unlock set. There is 100 titles. It doesn't do anything to get them except the feeling of accomplishing everything in a game.

This game is lots of fun and addicting. It has a single cart download play that is very fun. Sadly the game won't last you long enough to spend 30-40 dollars. If you can get it for $20 dollars or less then buy it. Other then that I recommend you rent. I think it's a great game and will might damage your touch screen unless you have a screen protector.

So in conclusion I enjoyed this game. I rented it and had fun for one great busy week of summer vacation: 7.2
