Pokemon Trozei!

"Tetris + (Pokémon+Hours Of Frustration)=(Yay - 2.934)"

Yeah, I know, crappy title. Anyway, Pokemon Link (Torezi) is a tetris like game, but you line up Pokemon faces, not blocks. Utilising the DS touch screen, you move the faces. I think we should push on, shall we? Brief enough for you?

Graphics - 7

I'm afraid 10-Meh. Yup, the graphic look like a 7 year old cartoon when you are looking at the buildings on the outside. They look like eggs that are blue, with chicken pox. IN BATTLE however, the Pokemon look quite accurately drawn, but they do have a bit of a frivolous animation.The battlefield is what you would expect out of a tetris battlefield. This time, it takes up to screens though. I think 7 is a reasonable score.

Controls - 7

Lets see if we can go for 3 7's in a row shall we? You slide the vertical and horizontal rows, using the DS touch screen. This can take some time getting used to, but you will more than likely pick it up soonish. The disappointing thing is the fact that there is no alternate way to do it. But, seeing as how this game is utilised around the Touch Screen, who cares! Maybe 7 is a bit tight, but I think it is fairly OK.

Fun Factor - 7

I know this is a bit out of place here, but I just had to make it 777. The fun factor is reasonable, once you beat it once, you will probably consider playing it again. Actually, there is no choice if you play on. DO NOT READ ON IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS. Once you beat the easy game, you must play the hard mode, essentially the same thing as easy mode, only harder. You cannot replay easy mode after that (unless you restart). ENDED SPOILERS.

Sound - 9

All of the music in this game is a one small step for Pokemon, one large step ahead of every GBA game on the planet. Its that good. I reckon they should make a soundtrack and put it on CD...mmm...anyway, the lost one is for the limited tunes. There are only 10 or so. Major bummer. :(

Replayability - 6

Once you played it thrice or so, you might put it down and go play something else, but you will certainly want to play again.

Buy or Rent?

Rent if you are new to Pokemon, or want some further advice if my review didn't help you, buy if you like tetris or Pokemon.
