Yoshi's Island DS

Review by RockyStarPro

"A Game Worth The Wait!!"

Welcome to my review for the game Yoshi's Island DS for the Nintendo DS. This game is a sequel for the Master Piece Yoshi's Island and this one is proves it is a tonne better. This story is about the stork carrying 5 babies before Kamek [again?] runs into the stork dropping the babies onto Yoshi's Island. You start off basically in the same practice level and then progress into all new hard stages. There is also a new feature and that is to collect Baby Coins. There is one baby coin in each level in the game except Extra levels and Secret levels. It is completely random because if it is just dots around it then it cannot be for that baby so you go to the other baby to collect it.

The Graphics for the game are a little disappointing because it has a bit too much crayon use but still Artoon made the other parts of the graphics extremely beautiful. The graphics for Yoshi and his friends are awesome and it looks like it has gone up from Yoshi's Island to the next level. The graphics for the background are good and they do stand out especially from far away because Artoon took their time and did not rush at making this game. At the end for graphics, it is an awesome feature and one of the best for the Nintendo DS.

The game play one of the best parts of the game really kept the difficulty as it finished off Yoshi's Island. The Red coins, Flowers and Starts return but the new feature, the Baby coins come into the game as well. It takes lots of turns to beat the Extra levels as it already feels like Secret 6 from the other game. Some times when you find a Baby Coin but there is dots around it you must either go beating the level without it until you find the next baby or switch to another baby at the Stork Stop. At the end for the game play, it is very fun and this game should keep you playing for at least 2 weeks because it is that hard.

Rent or Buy:
I recommend to buy this game because it has one of the awesome graphics and the best game play.

Overall Yoshi's Island DS for the Nintendo DS is a very good game and it should keep you entertained for a very long time and thank you for reading my review.
