"Beats the prequel, beats Yoshi story, beats all games on DS so far! And the best part is... It is Yoshi!"

Welcome to my review of YIDS (Yoshi Island DS) were Yoshi gets back to an all new adventure on his home island. Let me just say I am proud of this game and you will be too.

The storyline starts when Kamek decides to get revenge of the Yoshi's in the prequel by stealing all the babies from there home for his evil plan. Suddenly out of nowhere, the stork comes and uses his furious swoop to rescue the primary babies. Unsuccessfully he only gets Mario and Peach and the other babies disappear from sight and were never heard again. A Magikoopa comes out of nowhere and hits the stork dropping Mario into the darkness and into the island. Luckily Yoshi caught before he landed on the ground so now here is where his adventure starts.

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are awesome at some parts but other parts had too much crayon which looked bad. The enemies are remodelled new bosses which look 3D and Yoshi looks improved then the last time you saw him.

Sound/Audio: 7/10
The sound was really bad and calm at times. The original had better cool music then this one especially with the underground or castle theme. The audio was basically normal with yells or grunts but not in English.

Game Play: 10/10
The game was excellent and fun and very lengthy. It took me 2 weeks just to get 100%. I thought I was going to pick it up, play it, and finish it in 3 days but I was wrong. This is a must game to get and must be obtained in any way.

The secrets and extras are back with more challenging things. You still have to collect stars, flowers and red coins and also a new thing, Character coins. They can only be gotten by a special character.

Rent or buy:
One word. Buy never ever sell this game it is too good to be sold.

Overall: 10/10
I loved this game. You should like it to because it is a very long game. But if you just going to rush it, then it will be probably two days to finish it. You must obtain this game in any way possible.
